THIS PLACE NEEDS 6 STARS. My family have been taking our cars here since we moved to Tucson 3 years ago. Ztech really treats you like family. Every time we take our cars in for something your never left in the dust not knowing anything they fill us in on everything going on and we appreciate that. Hard working staff, honest, and Heather at the front desk is the PERFECT person. Her personality shines out we love Heather!!!!!!!

This shop was recommended by a friend of ours. The techs had our brother's vehicle diagnosed and repaired promptly. Thanks, Dallas and staff, for excellent service. We would highly recommend giving Z-Tech Automotive a try.

Amazing work and customer service! I didn’t feel pushed into anything I didn’t actually need and they even took the time to show me the issues so I could understand what was going on. From the front desk to the shop, everyone was nice and helpful.

Knowledgeable staff. Great prices. I had them do work on my old (1970) truck. Even difficult issues with an old truck didn't phase these guys. Do you have an off- beat repair or non-typical issue with your vehicle? You need to take it to Z-Tech. But they can work on all the newer cars too!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They talked me through my options and were able to fix the issue very quickly. Have also taken my car there for a free, pre-road trip inspection and that was great for peace of mind.

Had a wheel alignment done on both of my cars. Good price, good service, I can't remember the techs name but she was great. She took the time to explain what the alignment results were and pointed out some things to keep an eye that may need work in the future. Had a great experience and will be back!

I had a great experience with Z-Tech Automotive in Tucson recently. Heather helped me with a repair on my daughter’s 2008 Escape. She provided great communication, prompt service and fair pricing. We will definitely return to Z-Tech and recommend it to others.

This is easily one of the best auto shops I've ever been to. I was on a road trip in a very non-standard vehicle, a 1985 Vanagon. I broke down just outside town late in the day. Despite being in a car they wouldn't normally work on they took me! Not only that they replaced my blown coolant hose the same evening and even stayed late to do it. I'm blown away by how far they went the extra mile for me. Come here, they're real experts and will treat you right.

On my way to Northwest Hospital my drivers side front tire flew off and I pulled off the road 20 yards from ZTECH Automotive. After chasing my tire down I saw an employee named Heather pull into the shop and I told her what happened and she assured me they would do everything they could do to get me fixed and driving by the end of the day. I made it back to the shop after my orientation, right after the tow truck finally moved my truck into the shop and I witnessed for the next few hours, Heather do everything she could to get my truck fixed. She went out and worked on my truck herself when the mechanic when to lunch. She drove to numerous parts places to get the correct parts and between her and the only mechanic on that day, they fixed my truck and got me back on the road in a very reasonable time. There aren’t many shops around like this these days and I have to say I was lucky this incident brought me to this shop because they are knowledgeable, reasonably priced and put their customers first. This is the only place to get your vehicle worked on whether it’s a simple oil change or something more complicated. ZTECH does it right

I have been to Z Tech twice now, the last vehicle was a head scratcher that went to a competitors shop first, who could not decipher the codes, they recommend the dealership, who $500 later did not diagnose the problem correctly. Z Tech got it right the first time and at half the cost. There is a good thought process being employed here, some next level problem solving and methodology. The leadership must be excellent because the service and response is first rate too to bottom!

I took my truck here 2-28-2024 as I knew I needed new brake pads, rotors and calipers. I simply did not have the time to do this as we have a 6 month old baby. This shop came highly recommended to me from a friend. They were very knowledgeable, polite, on time and on budget. They have a great text message and email system to give updates and have you say yes/no for service with digital signatures if you want. They were not pushy, and the email listed items for upcoming repair. I liked their approach as there was zero pressure. I will DEFINITELY go back to Z Tech and appreciate their honesty! Great system they have to keep things low key….not like other shops or dealers I have been to! Thank you Z Tech!

Always skeptical about finding a new mechanic, as I feel most people are. Went here to get my check engine light coded/looked into and replace my brakes. First impression was a very positive and friendly employee named Heather helping me set up an appointment and get squared away. After all was said and done, they actually talked me out of replacing my brakes (didn't need it yet) and didn't try to sell me on any additional unnecessary purchases. Never had an experience like that at the shop but was actually enjoyable instead of questioning if I was getting scammed. Would and will recommend Heather and the rest of the team to anyone.

I am so happy to have found this place. I have brought two cars here and have been totally satisfied with the service. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of, and get me back out on the road in a safe, reliable car. Also I love that they text me with service updates so I know what’s going on while my car is there. Thank you Z-tech! :)

I drove my car from Wisconsin for a vacation in Tucson and started to hear a clunking noise in my car near the end of my stay. I called around to see if anyone could look at it and fix it before I drove it back home. Heather answered the phone and said give her a minute to check with the owner. She called back right away and said they could squeeze me in. Heather even gave me a ride back to my AirBnb which was really nice of her. Also picked me up when the car was done. Mike the service tech had me take it for a drive with him and knew pretty much what the problem was right away. I thought CV axle, he had me do tight turns and there was no clicking sound, he said CV axles sound fine, sounds more like suspension, he was right of course. Also thought a wheel bearing was bad and he said, "no that sounds more like a bad tire". Mike was great (it ended up being my front struts that were completely trashed after 250k miles). The car was done and working perfectly in a couple days. I was very happy with Heather's polite/professional customer service and her auto expertise. She knows car mechanics very well as she answered every question, even the specifics on the alignment. It appeared to me that she basically runs the place and runs it well. There is a reason people have 5.0 ratings. These guys work hard for it as you can see in my review. Edit: These guys stand behind their work. The right Monroe quick strut ended up having a defective top mount right out of the box (clunking over bumps). They paid to have it swapped out locally (Wisconsin). The shop that did it locally said about Z-Tech: "this is a stand up shop". Exact words. I agree. Thanks to Heather and the owner for working with me and the local shop. It's no fun to have a clunking sound on a brand new installed strut. It's quiet now thanks to you !!! I'll be back!!!

I had a great mechanic who retired sent all his customers here. And I'm really glad he did. I've had oil changes brake jobs and general maintenance and have been really happy not just with their work but their friendliness and professionalism. I highly recommend Z Tech.

Z-tech has been my mechanic of choice for about two years. Heather’s customer service has always been great, she treated me with respect and always informed me in detail about recommended changes or requests to make changes on my car. Dallas always met my needs and made suggestions about what was best for my car. I’ve never had any issues with them at all.
