What can’t I say about this shop. They treated me like family and took great care of my car. They worked exceptionally fast. What I thought would take a week, they had done the following working day. As a woman, finding an honest mechanic has always been an issue. Here at Z’s I experienced the utmost integrity with 5 star quality service. Every member of this team was incredibly thorough. Their crew truly cares about the job they do and the services they provide to each and every customer, no prejudice or discrimination here. Just quality service through and through.

First time experience with Z’s and happy with the response and service we got. They were able to take a tow for our Nissan that was steaming/smoking and overheating all of the sudden. Diagnosed late the following day and replaced busted coolant hose the day following. I never did hear a projected cost, but we knew we needed it fixed regardless. I will trust the price was fair and competitive. All went smoothly for the repair and testing and payment, except a very minor misunderstanding about our AAA membership which was able to be remedied with quick communication. I would trust them to do work on our car in the future.

After months of having my girl dragged around from shop to shop with no one able to diagnose or solve her problems, I’ve finally found her a new home. Meg and Robert were both fantastic to work with. My car was repaired so much faster than I expected. The friendly and competent customer service took me back to days long gone by. I couldn’t be happier and won’t ever need another auto repair shop. I am so grateful, thank you!

We had a great experience at Z’s. I met Robert, Dakota and Eric and they were all extremely attentive to our concerns about our old 4 Runner and were able to fix an on going issue that was left unfinished by a prior shop. Meg helped us get our Nissan in for a spur of the moment oil change on our other vehicle, and was such a blast to chat with! We are so grateful to have such a reliable auto shop in our neighborhood. And we are always excited to support a family business. Thank you!

I have been living in this area for 12 years and driving in front of this mechanic car business shop about everyday for work and ran other errands never thought of stopping in this business to get my car fix. I have been through different mechanics that I found out that I cannot trust them with my bank account. To prove me God's timing on some of the choices "you" make can be exist too and his plan for you is to bring you joy someday, is TRUTH. Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic a lot of businesses in Portland, OR was offering free services and a free meals to the essential workers😍 One day I decided that I would take advantage of at least one of the free services and a free meal of the things that I spend money on in my more often time. The free service that I chose that would be benefited us was to get a free oil 🛢😉 change done in my car for my job. So I called Z's Car Care and made an appointment with them for the first time for oil change in my car 🚗 with tire rotation and to fix my windshield wipers fluid for a charge. When they confirmed to me the work that I needed to be done; they said it's all for free. And I was stunned🤨! I couldn't believe that they would do all that for free. So I appreciated their generosity very much so with my whole ❤. So I said I feel like that I can trust them with my bank account. Since we have some other work that needed to be done in my car 🚗 I said, they will be the one I will call 📞 😌. I did call them, they were able to fixed my car and I didn't feel like they over charged us. I had to dropped my car off to them, they gave me a ride home and then when my car got fixed I still didn't have a ride from home, both the owner of the car shop husband and wife dropped my car off to me at home at no extra cost! We should never give up in the hard times because just like that there's still good people left through the hard times; there's also a time for everything! I JUST WANT TO HONOR AND BE ALSO THANKFUL TO THIS FAMILY MECHANIC CAR BUSINESS SHOP FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS FOR DONATED THEIR FREE CAR 🚗 OIL 🛢 CHANGED TO THE COMMUNITY OF WASHINGTON COUNTY AND BECAUSE THEIR SO GENEROUS AND HONEST IN SERVING THE LORD THEN THEY BLESSED ME🥰😍🙌🏽👐🏿🙏🏽🤗 I am grateful to notice that they didn't need me to be rated them 5 stars for their loyalty and honesty👏🏽⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥰

I just did a commentary earlier. I was extremely pleased with your service and the care that Eric gave me to be sure he left no stone unturned to find the correct problem and it's solution. Then later was very patient to answer my questions in a detailed manner. I will be glad to give you folks an excellent recommendation to anyone. The van's problems have plagued us since we bought it in 2003 and we finally were given an intelligent analysis and solutions. Good job folks.

Quick turn around time, very good on communication. My family has been coming here for 20 years but not anymore. Tried ripping us off over 1100 to change an alternator. They said something like $500 for the alternator itself. Got a brand new one with a warranty for $180. And paid a buddy $80 to do it which took him an hour. Saved a good $600-700 because I still had to pay them for diagnosis. Got to pay them for diagnosis even if you tell them the issue. If you want an expert for a good job this is the place but if you have a smaller job I wouldn’t advise it at all.

These people were able to perform a diagnosis and emergency repair on my car as it was on the verge of coming apart and I am definitely grateful for that. They were also kind enough to go out their way to tune up some things and give me extremely valuable advice on where to get my next car.

I was so excited to find a shop that would repair my van in a timely manor. I called them to replace my exhaust manifold and turbo on the driver side. I confirmed with Robert the owner that they could do the work as I would have to have the van towed there. I could only use AAA to tow it one time and couldn't afford to not have them finish it. I dropped it off on Tuesday 10/1/24 since Robert said they could work on it on the 2nd aka WEDS. This conversation happened on 9/30. I confirmed they could do the work and suggested I show them all the parts and to confirm if anything was missing. He said no, the guys will be fine and he will let me know better estimate if they find anything on Weds that afternoon or evening. Come Thursday am I get a call from the mechanic at the shop asking what's going on???? Thus, he said Robert wasn't there after I said "didn't Robert go over what happened and what needs to be done?' he said no just that turbo failed????? WOW. this made me nervous as obviously Robert never shared anything and its important as it had the oil and coolant already drained. Then the mechanic asked if he could start it to move it to near the garage? I said NOOOOOOOO!!!! He was surprised he wasn't told about no fluids crucial to start it. Said he almost started it to see..... THIS WOULD HAVE BLOWN THE ENGINE!. Then he shared he will check the codes..... and get back to me? Why didn't they do that from the start? I want to support local businesses and people in the community. The owner Robert doesn't know what he is talking about as to being any sort of mechanic. He said they could fit it in the garage amd the mechanic said no its too tall???? WOW, he also told me the engine had to be dropped to do the replacement of the exhaust manifold and turbo! NOT TRUE as I just decided to do it myself outside my house by myself. The other shocking part was when I picked the van up on Friday 10/3....... The mechanic said he didn't even have the special coolant line removal tool to do the job. Then to top it off Robert tried to get me to do a head gasket replacement on top of it all on the phone based off a misfire in cylinder #4. With the turbo blown and the hose on driver side off the front of the turbo is what caused the misfire..... as I started it up last night ran the codes and nothing! HUH! maybe he was just trying to pump up repair price! These guys are shady and clueless. Then after I shared my experience with a tire shop in town I trust they shared the story of a customer of theirs that had their struts replaced on the front of their car..... then billed a second time for replacing the same front struts 3 months later? NO way they go bad that fast. The manager called over to the shop and they refunded the second set and said sorry? At least they fixed it once they were caught and called out! BE VERY CAREFUL TRUSTING THIS PLACE!

Great service! Made my appointment online. Showed up on a Monday at 7:45am for my 8am appointment was greeted by owner explained what the problem was with my Z4 they were able to diagnose the problem, ordered parts and I was able to pick up my vehicle same day by 3:15pm. I'm a customer for life. Business was professional and knowledgeable and did not push extra services.

Great customer service! They communicated with me throughout the process and let me know up front of all cost and fess. Great environment inside the lobby area. My truck is running great, they replaced my engine and made sure to replace associated parts to ensure that the engine worked to its maximum efficiency. I’ve had my truck for two weeks since the repair and have not had an issue with it, I’m very thankful for Zs car care.

I've been a customer of Z's for well over 10 years and everything I have taken there has been explained thoroughly and repaired correctly. The few times in which parts that have been replaced that don't work properly, Delbert and team stand by their work and repair or replace on warranty, free of charge. Z's is really the only place you want to take any of your vehicles. Honest assessments and repair... And they stand behind it all.

This is husband john S writing. Called them today for a quote on a very small job(dealer says 30 minutes) I had already purchased an OEM GM FACTORY PART but I wanted to check with them for the install (I have been satisfied with them in the past) the person i spoke to(I think he said dakota) told me that they would not install the Gm part i had because they could not warranty the work or part unless they purchased the part for me and installed it. This is absurd To me & smells like we buy the part mark it up and bill you the cost of the marked up part. It makes no sense to me warranty is on the part if it fails (which is possible but unlikely especially with an OEM factory part) then they give you another one and you have it installed again. The only warranty they installers are expected to give is their tech installed it correctly They have been pestering me with text for month's to bring my car for work/service. This absurd policy will cause me to seek service else where. I told The person I spoke to my opinion and he hung up on me.

I had a crisis yesterday!! I’m a paraplegic man that carries his wheelchair in the back of his 1995 Ford Bronco. Suddenly the rear window would not role up! I couldn’t just leave my Bronco by itself, not these days. I called Z’s Auto Care and they immediately took me in their schedule. Within about an hour they had the problem sourced out and fixed the same day. Rear window is back in excellent working condition. Great Job y’all.
