I have been bringing all my vehicles including friends and my mothers car here for years Javier and his crew always go above and beyond to make sure I'm safe. Great prices and they give one year warranty for their work. I would highly recommend this shop they do pretty much everything. They replaced my engine in my truck. Have fixed my exhaust. Brakes jobs oil changes you name it. This is my go to shop for anything that has a motor. They even work on boat engines. They can put accessories on you ride. If you have problems getting inspected leave it with them and they will get it up to inspection for you.

Went to get an oil change before a long road trip. On the trip, got a notification that the car was running low on oil. Popped the hood to take a look and found the oil cap resting, loose, to the side of the engine. We assumed the lid was just never put back on and we lost all the oil as it sloshed around. We replaced the oil ourselves and luckily avoided any engine damage. I guess from now on we'll double-check the work of any mechanic for even the simplest jobs, but this feels like an extremely blatant oversight. ZJ's service is good, but not enough to outweigh such an error.

Haven't driven my car in a few years and needed a diagnosis of what was wrong with it to pass inspection. Check engine light was on. He checked it, knew what it was right away, told me where I could get the part and it was put on in a few minutes. Highly knowledgeable, reasonable prices and gets the job done. Love this place and it was recommended to me. Can't thank these guys enough. Got me back on the road. This is my go to place from now on.

Lleve una camioneta a cambiar el cristal de la ventana trasera tardaron un día completo me la entregaron al siguiente día y aparte no hicieron bien su trabajo no aspiraron los vidrios rotos cuando especialmente se los dije que los aspiraran para eso están cobrando muy mal servicio

Been looking for a new oil change spot closer to home and I think I found it with ZJ Automotive! They didn't have my particular filter so they went and bought one. Oil change was done within 30 minutes. Thanks, ZJ!

I was in and out for an oil change in less than 20 minutes. The mechanic was polite and quick. It costs 75 dollars, since my car uses full synthetic oil, which is a little higher than I've paid in the past, but it's well worth it since it's close by, quick and reliable.

I went in with what I thought was a starter issue. It turned out to be the battery. The guy told me he didn't notice until he was done w the starter. He would have had to see the battery first. He should have contacted me. He was annoyed that I diagnosed the problem and wanted to make money from the starter replacement instead of reaching out. Short guy complex. You never offered to remove the starter. You offered to install the battery. Your review is derserved. Months later, you lie and virtue signal, short pants. Trashy

I have taken a few different cars here for AC, suspension, engine and brake work. They do the work properly and quote a pretty fair price. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing what’s wrong. Usually all is right but one time my car was returned without the lug nuts very loose, and they have done some work that ended up needing a follow up, which is why I am leaving a 4 star. As far as mechanics go, I do like this shop and recommend it.

Update: 11/11/23 Javier and his team are top notch. Took my truck in for clutch replacement and he worked tirelessly to complete the job. I have used his shop several times and would not hesitate to recommend ZJ Automotive. Bonus points for Veteran owned business. Excellent service. Could not have asked for more. Prompt. Professional. Extremely pleased.

Came in for a diagnostic after my car started acting up with appeared to be electrical/transmission issues. 10 mins later, they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and reset the vehicle computer. When I asked what I owe, I was told "nothing." Will be using again in the future!

I have never had such a great experience with an auto mechanic before. Having purchased a car with Carvana, I was really happy to find out that ZJ Automotive would check it out for me for less than half the price of the big competitors. I dropped my car off, and with in the hour, I received pictures of a ton of rust damage. I was given a full report and knowing it was a lemon, traded it in. As soon as I got the keys to car #2, I went straight back to ZJ. W/o an appointment, they still made time for me same day. This time, I got the thumbs up. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. I will be taking all my business here and pointing friends and family to ZJ's as well! Thanks!

Protect yourself, go to a different mechanic. Instead of fixing my transmission for $1800 in one week, they called me at the end of the week and said it'd be $2400 to buy a new one. I declined on that. They took everything out of the engine of my car, dumped it all inside the car and sold my own car back to me for $400. I've had to buy a whole new car. They've now commented on my review saying it was a different mechanic, so I'm adding my receipt. Again, just protect your money and your car by going to a different mechanic

Took my Subaru Forester here when it started handling funny. He diagnosed the car and didn't recommend I repair due to the cost of the fix and age of the car. When I traded it in for a new (to me) honda fit he coached me over the phone on checking carfax and making sure I got a good car and then checked out the car before I bought and didn't even ask to be paid. They're always quick, friendly, and professional. First mechanic I trust completely. I will absolutely be back for all my automotive needs, could not recommend highly enough.
