First time service of my reliable 2017 Acura and was pleasantly impressed by the level of communication, especially on the part of Raymi on the phone and in person. Shuttle service within ten miles was especially important to me and Larry does an excellent job of driving. Would definitely bring my car to Woodie’s again.

I called to get a quote to replace the front brakes on my car (very simple and standard maintenance) and they couldn't even tell me how much it was going to cost without first charging me $30 for an inspection. I will not and no one else should ever pay anyone for a quote. I will not be using Woodies.

Several days in advance I called for an appointment to get my car inspected. The guy said the day I chose was wide open, so just pick a time. I chose 10am. The day of the appointment I showed up at 9:55am. He asked if I was going to wait there while they did the inspection. I said yes since I had an appointment and it shouldn't take long. He said that it would probably take 1.5-2 hours. What the heck is an appointment good for? I know I was low priority since they make no money on inspections. But this leaves a bad impression and I will not go back there.

Tried to have me get new roaters and spark plugs when I didn’t even need them & charged more than the dealership told me they don’t replace break pads only roaters and break pads together. Took car to dealership to take a look replaced my break pads and checked everything for half the price.

Friendly and knowledgeable ASE certified staff. I like the way they use high quality products such as Mobil 1 motor oil. I have never had a repair that needed to be redone. Courtesy shuttle to the office is a big plus.

I took my car in for an alignment because I bent a rim hitting a pothole. It wasn't far out, but I got the printed report of Before and After, and I have been quite happy with the results. They do great work!

Some of the best customer service I've received in any industry. I had a flat tire; Ramey at this location got me in and out quickly — so fast that I didn't even need to use their courtesy shuttle (something I will take advantage of in the future). The price was also lower than I would've expected. Such a great overall experience that this location made a new, loyal customer.

Dont bother making an appointment as it does not matter. I made an appointment on a Saturday at 9 AM, take the car in and they say a mechanic did not show up and they could not look at my car. I then made an appointment for the following Tuesday and brought the car in at 9AM and at 3:30 PM it was still sitting in the same spot. I just picked it up. I realize we need more auto repair shops on this side of Charlotte as these guys are WAY TOO BUSY. I may be there competition soon!

Have been getting inspections here since 2019. Got my inspection here again a couple weeks ago. This year Woodie’s failed the inspection due to window tint being too dark. When it was explained to me that “sometimes tint darkens over time” (don’t most things fade in the sun?), I was handed a business card to a ‘preferred shop’ that does window tinting. They also flagged tires as wearing low but passable - This car had tires replaced less than a year ago and have less than 4000 miles of wear on them. Also despite having an 8:30am appointment and waiting onsite, it took them 2 hours to complete the inspection. I took my car to an inspections-only shop today and the car passed with no issues, and their entire process was under 30 minutes. Will no longer be a Woodie’s customer as I feel like I can’t trust them to do an honest job.

Made an appointment a week in advance just to come in to be told I would have to bring it back the next day after I took off work so I could sit and wait patiently for it to be looked at. Missing out on a days pay and now I am searching for a new repair shop last minute. Unprofessional. Whats the point in making an appointment if you are told to bring it back the next day when you arrive?

Beware of this place selling you things you don't need. One of my techs dropped a recently purchased 2022 Ford Transit van off for an oil change. It should have been a warning that they wanted to keep it overnight for an oil change. So Ryan called my tech mid-day the following day and told him the spark plugs were bad and needed changed. Ford doesn't even have the plugs checked till 100,000 according to the maintenance manual. I've had 20 of these vans in my fleet and its usually 120,000 to 150,000 when the plugs need changed. The van was running perfectly and had just been purchased a few months earlier and went through Fords checklist and had everything replaced that was needed. Now my tech should have never okayed this but he did not knowing that the bill would be $1169.93. They added a few other things that just had to be done! This is so wrong on so many levels. I can afford to pay this and did but I am concerned for people who can't and don't have the money to spend on unnecessary and unneeded repairs. Most people won't look in their owners manual to find out they are being misled.

Had a 9am inspection appointment. At 11:45 there were still 2 vehicles ahead of me. There was no communication that they were behind schedule and would need my vehicle all day for an inspection. Better communication and an understanding of what an appointment is would be nice.

Woodies lost a customer of several years last week. They enthusiastically scheduled my vehicle days in advance to evaluate a check engine indicator. I dropped off the vehicle an hour earlier than the appointment. My vehicle sat on their lot almost 10 hours and they never checked it. Never moved the parking spot where I dropped it. It’s a poor way to treat customers. Don’t schedule more customers than you can handle.
