I walked into this shop and didn't realize it was an auto shop cause it is in a strip mall... Upon asking if they new any close shops the curly short haired gentleman behind the counter was rude and told me "What you do is get on your GPS and koom for what you want." To a question of would you happen to know any place near by that I could locate a product... Not cool and I will make sure to let everyone know not to visit any of the Woodie locations. If you can't handle customer service, don't get in any industry that deals with customer facing interactions. RUDE!

10/10!! I was outside the shop looking at my tires and Forrest came out to ask if everything was alright, my tires were low and he was SO KIND to check them out and fill air in my tires. Both Forrest and Kyle were So kind and welcoming. I’ve never been here before then - I DEFINITELY recommend!! And will be using them from now on! Thank you again so much!!

Recently moved to Charlotte NC and found this place as i need car inspection. They're awesome! Respectful, friendly, and tell you all that's needed - pricing is fair- could be lower :-). They even provide Shuttle Services within a range! Great accommodations while you wait. Recently had oil change and tires rotated and will continue to go for my auto needs.

I was traveling from SC and had a problem with my Mercedes van. Woodie's on Prosperity got me in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it AND was able to engage the extended warranty all in one day. That alone is fantastic, but what was most striking was how nice, professional and courteous everyone was. Highly recommended.

Woodie's was a bit on the expensive side, however you can't beat the customer service provided. Jeffrey was great! He provided the same care at 7:00 am, as he did at 4:00pm. So pleasant, very knowledgeable, and compassionate. Thank you Jeffrey for making my experience unforgettable.

Zero respect for time. This place has never failed to disappoint me. Even with an appointment, they manage to drag out an NC inspection for 2hrs while I’m waiting, every time. I will not be going back, and reccomend you don’t either.

I believe it was Jeff who helped one of my customer out we set our customer there to get a diagnostic. They charged him $160 for diagnostic. And told the customer that the car was not safe to drive overcharged for the pricing. I have a written diagnostic that I can provide, which mentioned the customer need oxygen sensor misfire and the reservoir was leaking and it is not safe for him to drive this vehicle and the prices they offered to repair was outrageous even more than a dealership franchise dealership. We advise our customer to just go ahead and drive the car and it’ll be OK. We paid for their diagnostic and Car came to the dealership whatever they mentioned in diagnostic was not even the problem with the car. The car had a totally different problem which we addressed and the customer is happy as they can be in future we ever have any issue we would not recommend the shop.

The customer service here was absolutely amazing. Kyle, Steve, and Miles were so kind and understanding. They helped me to get my daughter and wife while the car was being fixed, they prioritized my vehicle, were never annoyed by my many questions, and always had great communication. Common sense if you would take the time to do your job and look at a person oil change sticker to see that it was recently changed the smart thing to do is call the person to verify before you proceed especially when your 65 year old mother forgot the oil had just been changed on Saturday. Still common sense as a mechanic to check things out and ask questions instead of saying someone could’ve put an invalid sticker up there. Who tf going to be riding around with an invalid oil change sticker if the oil change was just did last Saturday??? Defintely won’t be getting my business ever again cause as a mechanic you supppsed to use better common sense.

If there was a way to give 0 stars I would! Jeffrey, a member of the staff at the Mallard Creek location was dishonest. I was told I needed a new battery because the one I had was tested and put out extremely low voltage. Prior to giving them my car for a tuneup and fuel system cleaning, I had no issues and never any indication of needing a new battery. When I arrived to pick my car up it wouldn't start. From no problems to a completely dead car in one day at Woodies! I told Jefferey, whom I believe is a supervisor there to give me a jump. He did and stated, " we can give you a jump but it won't last". Well I drove my car through the remainder of the week with no problems and took my battery to be tested at Auto Zone and they confirmed what I knew, nothing was wrong with it. Everyone BEWARE! They attempted to scam me into buying another battery and paying for labor that I didn't need. Do not risk taking your car here.

My experience with Woodies started after my car was stolen then recovered. The criminals that stole my car beat the car to hell with many, many issues that needed to be fixed. Unfortunately, I only had collision insurance so everything would need to be fixed and paid for out of pocket. Kyle, the manager did a great job inspecting the car and sharing his findings with me in detail so that I knew everything that was wrong with the car. We were able to come up with a plan so that we could get the car drivable again, for the least amount of money. Woodies was very helpful and patient with me as I weighed the decision on what to get fixed and when. I had a ton of stress dealing with the stolen car and I am fortunate we got it fixed and I am driving again. Thank you to Kyle and his team for the help! I'll be back!

Received outstanding service at Woodie’s (Mallard Creek) on Prosperity Church Rd Charlotte. Stopped by Saturday morning. They confirmed the issue, had the fastener in stock & in 10-15 the fix was complete. Thank you Jeffery & team! Excellent service!!

Don't go here. As someone who works in the dealership business, I chose this location because it's close to my home and they sent me a coupon. Just needed an oil change. Set an appointment for 7am. Right when they opened. Didn't matter one bit, as I still waited 4 hours for it... 4 hours for an oil change...unacceptable. Then when it came time to pickup, I was grossly over charged. They tried to charge me $105 for an oil change. (Even with my $15 off coupon)..after pushing back, they realized that my filter had been billed out 5 times...do you guys not check your paperwork? Or did you just think I was dumb enough not too? Still paid $60 for it after the adjustment and that was including the $15 off coupon.. unacceptable. Oil changes for my 2013 Hyundai should be $40 MAX, anywhere else. After expressing my displeasure, every employee I spoke to also relayed their own displeasure with working there and the company as a whole, it's pricing, it's timing, and it's schedule. This company is predatory to its customers and it's employees. Please, don't go here. I learned this lesson so that you don't have to.

I had an unwelcome and jarring rear tire blowout on 85 at rush hour. After getting my pulse rate down, I found Woodie's. Kyle checked my tire size and no luck with it on hand. Kyle immediately found a way to get my spare put on and have me out the door at no charge. I'll say that again, no charge. I can tell you it changed my day and night. What a class act. Kyle is an employee they should be proud of. Speaks well to the company and culture. I will be seeing them soon to be a paying customer.

I brought my car in for repairs and was charged $500.00 for diagnostic. They replaced one spark plug and charged over a thousand dollars for repairs. I paid and when driving off experienced the car in a worse shape than when I brought the car in. I informed woodies about the condition of the car, eventhough they realized the problem they refused to take ownership. I asked to speak to a manager. Kyle claim to be the manager. I asked for a direct report and he refused to provide that. I mentioned do i need to call the news and he called the police claiming that I refused to leave the store. What I experienced with woodies no customer should be treated that way.

I stopped by Woodie's to get my state inspection. I arrived at 3 pm, which is 4 hours before closing time. I wanted to wait for my vehicle. Jeffrey told me that I wouldn't be able to wait and suggested I take advantage of their shuttle service. He assured me someone would call when my vehicle was ready. Around 6:30, I got a text alerting me that my vehicle was ready and that someone would call me shortly. A few minutes went by, and no one called, so I took it upon myself to call Woodie's. Jeffrey was on the other end of the line. I inquired when I could expect my ride back to the shop, considering they were about to close. About 25 minutes before closing, he informed me they had no driver. I then asked how I would go about getting my vehicle, and he said I would have to get it in the morning. When I asked why he hadn't shared this earlier, he had no response. I told him I live about a mile away and would walk over, requesting that they not close until I arrived. I arrived at 7:01 pm. Every single light was off, and every gate was closed. If this is not the epitome of poor customer service, I do not know what is.

Woodie's was recommended as having knowledgeable mechanics and straightforward pricing. I called to get a quote on rear suspension work based on an already diagnosed finding. I was told I had to make an appointment (okay, no problem), drop the vehicle off (but you already know where to look), I would be charged to "look" at it (but wouldn't tell me how much), wouldn't give a general estimate for parts and labor (it's literally on the computer on front of you), nor tell me whether the cost of "looking at it" would go towards any repairs (so much for straightforward pricing). Needless to say, I didn't go just so they could take my money and my time. If I can't trust you to tell me basic information (diagnostic fee), then how can I trust your work. If you have to see me to quote services you do everyday, then that's a bigger problem.

Woodie's is extremely friendly, trust-worthy, and price competitive. I'm happy to have found somewhere that I can trust to care for our three-car family's needs. On my most recent trip there they were able to undertake engine repairs on my Hyundai that were covered under my power train warranty and they worked directly with the warranty company for reimbursement saving me $700 on the repair bill.
