They used faulty parts and I had to go somewhere else get the same thing replaced after like one month...I went to the place last year because the insurance I purchased when I bought my car from carmax was taken here supposedly. My check engine light came on and my car stopped working while at a red light. I went to the shop asked if they took my insurance and they said they wouldn't know until after the diagnostic. Later, they told me it was my mass air flow sensor and it was covered but after they fixed it they told it'll be $80 (but it should have been fully covered)... but they claimed that their rate for their technicians was higher that my insurance covers and I had to pay the difference (they did not tell me this when initially asked.) I was upset but was going to pay, but they reduced it to $20 because they saw I was upset. I was glad to pay less but the fact they could reduce it made it seem like it was just arbitrary anyway. In a week I had the same issue (check engine light on and my car was stalling when idle.) I came back in, they were apologetic and said it must be a faulty part and supposedly replaced it and told me okay no charge.... then about a week later same thing and have to come in again. Then they kept my car for like 4 days to try and figure it out and when I get it back they tell me if it happens again I should probably take it to the dealership (so immediately I have no confidence that they fixed it, also my key fob was broken when returned, a metal piece at the bottom was broken off, minor but still annoying.) Like clockwork in about a week my car has the same problem so I take it to the dealership they tell me my insurance won't cover it if it's the same issue, cause they already paid for it at the first place. I double check with my insurance and they tell me there is a 12 month warranty on my parts from this place and yes, they won't cover it again in less than a month. I stick with the dealership and pay (would have been $900 plus cost of rental but carmax paid for some of it and I payed $500 and rental... the insurance was a 3rd party seperate from carmax.) The dealership shows me that this place put a refurbished sensor in my car and that's why the problem kept coming up (the serial # was scratched off and some silicone was visible indicating the part was taken apart and put back together.) I brought the parts back to this shop, and all my bills from the dealership and they told me to wait and make sure that everything was good and maybe they would give me some money back but that they also were losing money. Not sure how they figure that they are losing money maybe because they had to redo the work but they also claim they didn't know the part was not new? If they don't check the parts before installing that's also their problem, there's no way I would know to check that. It's been 4 months and thankfully I have no problems with my car after getting it fixed by the dealership but I don't even want to come back to the shop to try and get some of my money back. I feel like so much of my time and money has already been wasted by coming here.

I recently took my Toyota Tacoma to have the catalytic converter installed. They charged me almost 3000.00 dollars and they put one that was not for my truck. I complained and they did change it but later I realized that they stole my spare tire, which was new.

Woodcrest auto is forever my number 1 auto service. Their integrity fair prices and master experience is second to none. Their professional and kind manner staff also make the decision that much easier. Their staff is always friendly, and very communicative. They never leave you wondering how the repair is going or if there is a change in when the job should be completed. Just in all I see no reason why I would ever need another repair shop. They have a customer for life here.

I called to inquire about the possibility of getting my vehicle’s smog test done quickly — i.e. the same day and they said to stop by right away and they would fit it in. The smog test was completed, I then paid, and left with the certificate sent to the DMV. Thanks for the quick, easy service! They were professional as well.

I had my axle replaced because the rubber boot split open and splattered grease all over the tire. I didn't expect you to clean that up, so I went to remove the tire afterward and clean up the rim only to be pleasantly surprised that it was already taken care of by you guys. My air conditioner stopped blowing cold air in the middle of a heat wave. I typically take my car to the Honda dealership but didn’t really feel like paying the prices. I googled and after reading all the great reviews about Woodcrest Auto decided to stop in. Mind you I’m always a little apprehensive about being a woman walking in and being ripped off. It was the end of the day on a Friday and Kevin greeted and assisted me and made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything and gave me the price and that’s exactly what I paid. I’ll definitely be back for future services and would tell any woman needing repairs to head in. My air conditioner is doing great!

Mistakes happen and I don’t have any issue when they occur. It is an issue when they are denied. Firstly, spent $5000 having the air conditioning Condenser repaired. Picked up the car and the fan blower sounded like a helicopter. They said they would repair and I got a call at the part with $700, Although the blower was working when I took it in. After discussion, the Desk staff said it was working When I picked the car up. Untrue since I called within five seconds of leaving their site. Then noticed that the undercarriage cover was dragging on the street. Desk attendant again said they did not access that part of the car although it’s required to replace the condenser. I suspect it wasn’t properly replaced, once it was taken off to access the condenser. Again, don’t mind mistakes, but find it atrocious when people don’t accept responsibility. They stepped up and resolved the issues, although the undercarriage cover is damaged. I suspect that this is an employee issue and not a business issue because it was clear that the owner wanted to make it good. That’s why it’s three stars.

The service was so efficient. The manager was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I’d go 1000 miles if I had to in order to get my auto serviced here. May 30 th. After getting a new fuel pump my 10 year old car runs like a young athlete. I’m so glad I can count on Woodcrest. With your expert service my Flex may be running for at least 10 more years. I’ve been a customer for a couple years now and on a Monday took my car in to have some things fixed. When I picked up my car on Tuesday my floorboards (front and back) were covered in water; when my bf pulled up my floorboards they were about 2-3 inches deep in water!!! Monday night it rained hard all night while they had my car, weird thing is only my floorboards were soaked but not the seats. When I confronted them on it they denied knowing anything about it then offered to vacuum it out. They then asked if I often park in a garage, insinuating this is normal for my car when it rains. I replied saying I don’t have a garage to park in, my car has been rained on hundreds of times and this has certainly never happened! Their vacuuming job was piss poor, there was still a big puddle on my back passenger floorboards. When arriving home I could still hear water sloshing so we pulled up all the floor coverings to discover it was almost 3 inches deep in water. We spent about 2 days trying to clean this huge mess up and have had it drying out to prevent mold for 5 days. I’m simply appalled! They lost this customer. I can understand an honest mistake if that person takes ownership of it, but they wouldn’t even do that. The mechanic work I needed done seems pretty good at least, car drives better.
