My grandmother and I had a fantastic experience with Nate at Wood & Son Mobile Auto Repair! He came out and quickly diagnosed my grandma’s car with a bad fuel pump. Not only did he replace it in the same day, but he also went the extra mile—literally—driving to Oildale (a 40-minute round trip) to get the part needed. On top of that, he replaced the fuel filter as well. The car is running great now, and my grandma is a happy camper! Nate was professional, efficient, and truly dedicated to getting the job done right. I highly recommend Wood & Son Mobile Auto Repair! 🚗🔧

Best mechanic in Bakersfield, he’s extremely knowledgeable. Diagnosed and got my ac fixed right away. Best part is he doesn’t rip you off with insane prices. Even hooked me up with a military discount because I’m a marine and he used to work with marines. You won’t find better work or better prices anywhere!

I’ve been struggling with trying to get my car fixed, no one seemed to know what was wrong with it. I was told it was an electrical issue and it probably be expensive to fix. I called Woods and son mobile auto repair. Nate came out and fixed my car in under an hour. Plus he will be returning tomorrow to fix my roommates special needs van! He was honest, friendly extremely knowledgeable. I’d recommend this company to anyone having electrical problems with their vehicle.

Had some troubles with my alternator these last few days now. Went to O’Reillys was struggling to receive some type of compensation for selling me 2 bad alternators and paying to get them installed twice. Nate knew it was unfair everything I been going through with these companies and all the money I spent. He had no problem fixing my car and defending me, insuring that my third alternator will be a newer upgraded alternator and the next service doesn’t have to come out my pockets. Thank you Nate again for the time you took out your day helping me solve my issue. This man is someone u guys want to go to !!

Hands down the best and honest mechanic out there in town that’s mobile. Found him last minute and told Nate about my ac situation, came out the next day to me at work and got the job done same day. Highly recommend him to anyone who needs anything

AMAZING! My husband and I went here because our AC wasn’t working very well and all I can say is this is the most honest car repair shop I have ever been to. We called around at different places and just to diagnose the problem other shops were going to charge us $250. This garage only charged us $145 total! We were expecting it to be around $400 $500 since AC problems are normally so expensive. Our AC is nice and cold now! Thank you so much for being awesome! Will be back if we have any future issues with our car!

Came here when I could not find anyone to help me with my Mercedes. I have an older model that I love but being 22 years old now things need to be changed. I do most of all the work myself, but I ran into two problems, getting my Harmonic Balancer off, and my valve covers kept leaking even after I changed them not once but twice. Finally I found Wood and Son. They may not be your conventional shop, but they know their stuff. They took my baby on a Friday and I picked it up on Tuesday. It was a day late, but not because of them, but a bad part. I waited two weeks to write and post this to give my car a good time to ensure things were good, and thus far no issues. No leaks from the Valve covers and it even seems to be running better. very happy with the service. Again this is not your conventional shop, so don't be turned off, they are the real deal and can help you in a pinch. There prices are reasonable, and they will keep you updated as things progress. If I need help again, or just don't feel like working on my car I will be using them again....thank you...

On 3/9/24, my boyfriend and I broke down in Tehachapi on the way to my cousins wedding. Although we didn't make the wedding, we did meet these incredible people. We had our Kia towed to their business and were greeted with optimism and kindness. They had our Kia done in a little over 24 hours, whereas other garages couldn't see us for over 72+ hours. These guys are fast, honest and amazing. I'm so happy we found them! Angels do exist!

I was refereed to this business, I was told they could take me now unlike other garages had a two week waiting list. The Pros: They were able to take me the next day, problem engine light was on. Diagnostics I needed a new oil pump cost with the diagnostic $2,100 and change. Said it would take them 5 days. It was my work van so I was out of work for 5 days. The people who work there are really cool, Nathanial explained exactly what he will be doing. The Cons: And why it is a 3 star review. After I picked it up and drove it home, under the hood was leaking like Niagara Falls. I called Nathaniel back and he said it could be a million things and bring it back in the morning. Which was inconvenience for me. I had to arrange my schedule for this. When I took it back the next day they looked at it and it was overflowing. They put to much oil in it. I was inconvenient because of their error. They should have a little more respect for peoples time. This is what they want a Honest review. Thank you.
