Amazing experience with Derrick was going to take my vehicle to the dealership because I never trust auto body shops but Im definitely glad I made the decision to visit West Side Auto Repair would 10 out of 10 recommend.

I want to say thank you so much to Derrick! My car was running hot and I was taking my car to someone that I thought was reliable and was genuinely fixing the issues on my car as they came up and turns out they weren’t. Being a female with a vehicle is hard in itself and can be tricky if you don’t know what is what or what it should be. I called Derrick and told him what someone “thought”was the issue and he educated me on why he DIDN’T think that was the issue or end all be all. I instantly got my car towed to Derrick and within 15 minutes of it getting delivered to him he sent me a video of the problem and I appreciated that so much so I could actually know and see what it was. He told me how much it would be and got it done fast. Not only did he fix the problem but he test drove it afterwards to ensure that it was taken care of. This is my first time going to Derrick and let me tell you, he always has a customer out of me!! Thank you so much Derrick I appreciate your genuine , thorough work.

Great prices and great work. Fixed my ac and other problems work didn’t take that long. Dropped it off Thursday and picked it up the next day. Normally people half work on it and I come to get it it’s not done and they’ve added to the problem. They did a great job and told me of problems they found while working on my car, problems I knew about but others were charging way too much. I definitely be back if I have any problems with my car.

Extremely happy with the service, our cost ended being significantly cheaper than what was originally priced for the invoice. If I have any other problems I will definitely be coming back here to get it fixed, service was amazing and fast.

Derrick is an awesome mechanic and is very affordable. He doesn’t make you pay for unnecessary fixes. He always find exactly what is wrong with our car and fixes it timely. He is our go-to mechanic! We have always been able to pick up the phone and simply explain to him what is going on. No hassle or run around. I would recommend him anytime!

I have been going to West Side Auto since relocating to TX 10 years ago. The owner, Derrick is a straightforward guy who you can depend on for your auto repairs. While a small business owner, Derrick views integrity over income. He will let you know everything that’s wrong and give you options for priority, need to do soon, and not important. I drive a luxury ‘06 sedan with over 270K miles. This would not be possible without the maintenance he has done on my car.

I have come to D for a few years now and have never been disappointed. As a woman it’s scary sometimes getting repairs because people always want to price gauge and get you for all they can. I am so happy I have a mechanic that I trust and don’t have to question if he telling me right or wrong I just go with it. Fair price and amazing service to go with it you can’t beat that!!!!! Today my car ran hot and he immediately got it towed and within a few hours my car was done and I was at work.

I was referred to D from a family member and I must say this is a decent and honest mechanic it's very hard to find those these days. He was professional and straight forward with the problem I had with my truck. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a good mechanic.
