Weavers WAS a mechanic I’ve trusted through and through…. The last few years something has happened… he has become progressively more scammy. He only wants cash… he doesn’t give an invoice. My 20 year old daughter took her car to Weavers because it was sputtering when idling. He called her less than two hours later and said he changed her spark plugs and she owed him $400 cash. Even though I was shocked he didn’t call ahead of time for approval of repair… I told her just to pay him. 24 Hours later the car starts doing the same thing. My daughter calls him and he says bring it back tomorrow… she says she rather $300 of the $400 back so she can bring the car to the dealership. He starts screaming at her saying “it doesn’t work like that!” and “you needed new spark plugs anyway” Do not trust!

I highly not recommend. Highly over priced and very skittish on job duties and responsibilities in a timely manner. Demands cash only! My truck came out of the shop with more issues than before bringing it in. Could have sued due to ineffective maintenance nearly loosing my life and others.

I would NOT recommend this shop. Not only was the owner very rude, he charged me $100 to change a $18 radiator hose and kept my vehicle for 5 days. Then he told me I needed a new cooling fan and relay switch. And wanted to charge me $800 to do it. There was nothing wrong with the fan and I changed the relay switch myself. It cost me $55.

The mechanic quoted me $700 to change the struts after I told him about a rattling sound. I changed the driver side sway bar link myself for $20 and fixed it. Beware.

I was having problems with my car ,after being diagnosed it was my alternator Mr Bob Weaver did an excellent job not just on fixing the car but his Communication though the whole process was excellent.I will definitely bring my car back to him for all my automotive needs .... thanks Mr Bob
