The other reviews made me nervous but color me impressed. Came to replace my rear tires after my back left tire got shredded by debris on the freeway. Snagged last appointment for the day at 6pm, was quickly checked in, and given an estimate of 30-40 minutes. Within 25 I got the text that the car was done. Both tires mounted beautifully, tire pressure even on all four and they put my donut back in the trunk. No attempts to upsell and everyone was kind, courteous and efficient. Being open till 7 when I work 8-5 is a godsend. Being affordable and not trying to upsell everything is even better. Thank you Larrison and Rafael!

Took vehicle in for oil change 12/10/24, vehicle began dripping oil the next day. Got it in as soon as I could (6 days later) for an inspection where they said everything was good. I got back from vacation since 12/20 and my van has dumped most its oil and has no oil pressure at startup. I add oil and climb under it to find oil puking by the Oil filter seal. Brought it in today dealt with a short portly woman with a tattoo under her eye that told me that I’ve had this leak for years and they’ve told me about it at every oil change. This is odd since this was the first time I’ve had them work on my vehicles. I tried to explain that and she just said “I don’t care, the manager can deal with you” and walked off. No manager spoke to me, but the kid that checked me in came back and finished the check in and took my keys, telling me they would replace the leaky oil filter. An hour and 20 minutes later, it’s done. I go out and check and the oil filter is the same one (I scribed it prior to taking it in). I told the tech that and little round tattoo face tells out that they “changed the damn filter”. Photos taken immediately before and immediately after clearly show the same oil coated filter is there but tightened ~45° more. First image is before, second is after. Paperwork says oil filter was changed and Manager Alonso verified it all. So not only did it not get done, they lied on the paperwork and the manager backed it. Store and regional managers have been contacted as has corporate.

Came in for my second oil change ever in my (new to me) car and they told me it would be a 2 hour wait even though the bay was completely empty. After accepting the wait time and going inside I get a text saying they've started my service. Why lie about the wait time? 15 minutes later a woman, who I am assuming is a manager of some sort, tells me she can't complete my oil change because the bolt is cross threaded on my oil pan and that the bolt is just spinning. This sounded weird to me because if it was cross threaded it wpuldn't be spinning, spinning means the bolt is stripped. She told me I would have to get my oil pan completely replaced and that the walmart (the La Cholla location) that did my first oil change was to blame for the damage. After speaking with staff at the La Cholla location I learned this was the second time in a week a customer had been sent to them from the Speedway location with damage to their vehicle that Speedway staff had pinned on La Cholla staff. No thanks to anyone from the speedway location, I was able to get my part replaced at the Jack Furrier on Ina and reimbursed by the La Cholla location despite the damage not being their fault. The manager of the La Cholla location theorized that the woman from the Speedway location who did my oil change stripped the bolt then cross threaded it herself and sent me away to avoid responsibility. When I left the Speedway location there was 0 oil in my oil pan. She replaced my oil filter and drained the oil pan and just let me drive away like that. The motor could have blown in my car and caused serious damage to my car, myself, and possibly others. This walmart is lucky nothing happened. Never come here.

Incompetent and rude. Terrible customer service in store and over the phone. No matter what you ask for or how you ask it, the staff is extremely rude. I made the mistake of trying to schedule an appointment over the phone and wasted 15 minutes just to be told that I should schedule online.

Purchased the battery less than a year ago. Took it in this morning because it wasn’t cranking, they tested it bad. Refuse to accept the #Warranty Because the barcode is missing but the serial number is complete along with the date of 1/24 sticker. Definitely won’t be buying a battery here again. Again, the battery isn’t even a year old.

Had an appointment at 8am. Place is very understaffed. The tech proceeded to remove the outer beauty ring from every one of my factory rims because she said they “don’t have the right equipment.” Never seen this done before. They originally told me 1 1/2 hours which turned into 3 hours. One of the 4 tires ordered came in the wrong size. So I only left with 3 new tires. Hanging around Walmart for 3 hours was painful enough. I will find the 4th tire elsewhere. Somewhere where they have the right equipment and to keep myself from going through this grueling process again.If you order tires from Walmart, do yourself a favor and have them installed elsewhere.

Went to do a high mileage oil change cuz I thought it was going to save $10 and what a nightmare. First off they put in 5W-30 into my sedan vehicle when everyone usually puts in 5W20 and when I asked them after the fact of wait a minute why did you put in 5W-30 they said to me you should have told us you wanted 5W-20. So they did not do their professional assessment to even ask me and confirm with me if I wanted 5W20 they just took it upon themselves to do whatever they wanted and they put in full synthetic when I have a preference for blended oil. Then when I called back after 11 days letting them know that my oil light was coming on that it was already showing an oil replacement was needed. Anyway I spoke to Jake the assistant manager he was terrible he was trying to do all he could to blame the last place that did my oil change and saying my oil plug was threaded and stripped and all that kind of stuff. Well I brought it to the other place and they showed me the oil pan plug and it looked perfect it was wonderful and clean. So save yourself a lot of headache and trouble and unprofessional service do not go to Walmart to get even a simple oil change to save some money which in the end I was only actually saving $3 I thought it was about 10 but it was actually only about $3. What an incredible headache it was to deal with them however if you deal with Danica the actual manager manager she will take care of you she understands and will take care of you. Jake is a jerk. There's not a lot of competency going on in general so I feel terrible for Danica that her team is not very bright. But Danica is a wonderful wonderful human being and will treat you as a human being Jake will play in your face and gaslight you like crazy. Was not a fun experience Jake made it awful. The way that I feel they're lucky there's at least one star to choose from because it would be definitely in the negative number because of Jake.

I had my oil changed and 2 new tires. I needed something done to the 3rd tire either replacing or patched, I thought. But a tire stem needed to be replaced instead of them communicating that to me they turned the car over to me. The next day, the 3rd tire needed more air to my surprise, and I found out it needed a tire valve of some sort. They did not have any in stock, and they didn't know when they would get it in. I was disappointed at their customer service to tell me this. At that same time, I could've ordered what I needed and brought the car back, but to not know. Aggravated me.

this is the second time I scheduled an appointment only to arrive and be told "my order hasn't arrived yet". the first time around I made a fuss and my tire magically appeared. this time I just left after the Walmart employee tried to laugh off the inconvenience and I won't be back and I recommend embassy tires up the street if you're reading this!

Called to get get my car battery replaced, told we got the battery, 159$, and they were fully free, not busy at all, I arrive at 3:45, there was one other car already being serviced. I waited for 20 mins for someone to come and check me in, to only take me through the longest and most painful journey for changing a damn battery. Technician tells me, after a very long time of asking way too many questions to a redundant extent, that he doesn’t know where my car battery is. Mind you, at this point it’s been 40 mins since I arrived. But that is alright, nobody knows everything, but he seemed like he wanted me to leave, but I insisted and suggested I’ll google and find it for him, ford fusion 2016, turns out it’s in the trunk, when I found that out, needed to call for him, that took 15 mins!! He came and then told me he doesn’t know how to remove the covering, which honestly is quite simple. With absolutely no motive on his side of things to help service my car, I yet again insist that I’ll figure it out, I did. Had to call for him again, 15 more minutes, who could have guessed. Got checked in after an hour and 2p mins after I arrived. But here is the kicker, at that point 3 more cars arrived, and he told me they had appointments and take priority, I was there for more than an hour, only to not get my battery serviced ? All it takes is 20 minutes. Anyway, I then proceed to wait 2 more hours inside the Walmart, with absolutely no purpose, only to check back on my car and find out the service hasn’t even begun, and almost a dozen cars arrived, 4 being serviced that weren’t even there!! I insisted to see someone that would get my car serviced so I could go home and sleep! It’s been 3 hours and 20 minutes at this point. At this point, a lady comes out and starts working on my car? (Just standing next to it) and then tells me the battery isn’t the correct one?? I already checked in, the system says T5, lo and behold, 40 minutes later, she comes back and confirms it’s the T5….. 4 hours in. I arrived at around 3:45, left at 7:35 3 hours and 50 minutes + 50 minutes commute back and forth 4 hours and 40 minutes!! But you know what’s the best part? Turns out the system is wrong and it’s the T4, and they only checked 4 hours after haha, what a joke. And they don’t have a T4 Rude service Waste of 4 hours and 40 minutes of my time Never coming back to a Walmart Supercenter, especially after told “it’ll only take 40 mins”

I took my new 2023 trailblazer in on 07/19/2024 for an oil change. My vehicle was taken in to begin the service until I was notified that they did not carry tje filter needed for my car. The following day I took my vehicle to the Walmart auto in Green valley where they notified me my vehicle had been returned to me without ANY oil. I'm not sure what kind of service this is or what the intention was to return my vehicle without any oil putting it in danger of breaking down completely. We have filled out and documented information of the event at this location in case anything happens to my vehcile.

Morning crew is much friendlier than afternoon. They tell you to schedule ahead so that you are seen, but it is nearly impossible to use the walmart app for this. Going first thing when they open up still means a couple hour wait without appointment. I would suggest showing up miday or just before 1pm. 3 star rating because they never check or fill the windshield wiper fluid even though they say they will. Great for basic oil services.

The Guy in Cust Srv at the Mechanic parts area, is Rude, Unhappy at his Job and tried to argue with me 4 30min over a battery i was purchasing for 100$ " he assumed" i could carry it. Offered NO help. The handicap Sporting Good guy helped. Unbelievable

Scheduled appt this morning. Was 14 minutes late, still within grace period. Tech was chatting with customer ahead of me. When she was done with him she then beelined into the bay and left me there sitting in my truck 10 minutes. I could hear her laughing and yapping in there. So I got out of my truck to get her attention. She said she wouldn't serve me, have to reschedule through her broken english. I told her she left me sitting there is why I am 10 min over the 15 min grace period. Only two vehicles ahead of me, and she refused and was going to reschedulee for Thursday. This purple haired technician with poor english also has equally poor customer service and complete lack of personal responsibility

Something has changed over time. Before I remember coming in, getting service, then on my way (very simple process). Then it turned into, appointment only if you wanted a decent wait time. I started doing so and the wait times increased over time. Now its completely unorganized and a very confusing process. No one really cares about anyone's situation. Will not be returning to this location on Speedway and Kolb.

Had an appointment at 1200 they took the can in at 145 and took them 2.5 hours to mount on 2 tires. What's the point of making an appointment if it's not the time you're being seen? And why would it take so long for 2 employees to put two tires on? Will NEVER allow Walmart techs to touch my vehicle ever again. You can tell they get paid by the hour. And now I understand why they are working at Walmart.

This place sucks. The operator is rude, the auto center desk phone is NEVER picked up and trying to schedule ANYTHING is like pulling teeth. Even when you do schedule something, most times they'll tell you one thing over the phone and schedule a different date and time entirely. IS IT THAT HARD TO ANSWER A PHONE?
