On December 14th, I got my cars oil changed at the Walmart auto care center - I hadn’t driven my car since that day because I went out of town on the 16th and came home on the 22nd. Haven’t driven it since I’ve been home. On December 23rd I went to go get a smog check and register my car, all within 5 mins of my house. I drove home and right when I pulled into the drive way, I smelled oil. I got out of my car and then I HEARD some kind of fluid leaking and I look under my car and it’s a HUGE puddle of OIL!! Right away I drive back to the walmart auto care center. Thankfully it’s only like 5 mins from my house. I talk to an auto technician Isaiah , he takes a quick glance under my car— he didn’t even put it on the lift thing….and then he started giving me a whole bunch of BS— trying to double talk and say that it was nothing they did and whatever is leaking is simply due to “wear and tear”. I said to him….that makes no sense, my car has less than 13k miles on it and his guys were the last ones to touch my car and now it’s leaking oil profusely. He then said that since they just do oil changes and install tires, they aren’t equipped to fix anything or diagnose any damage, that he claimed he couldn’t do anything and said I needed to go to a full service auto care center to have it looked at. He said that if they brought it in the service bay on the lift to look at it, that they could be liable for anything they find…like umm, OBVIOUSLY ?!? I was like ummmm .none of this makes any sense, but okayyy. I was gonna take it to the Firestone about a mile n a half away and before I left, Iseah first said maybe I should have my car TOWED there. I was like umm…if it’s that bad, we have a BIG problem!!…and then the he said hmm well if you’re only going a short distance, I’m gonna just throw some more oil in your car so you can make it there, because apparently at that point there was little to no oil left in my car!!! So he does that rather haphazardly and I hightail it over to Firestone and spoke to the mechanics there, (who I’ve met before cuz they did work on my mom’s car a few months ago) Right away took my car in to do a diagnostic and came back to me and their faces were like 😬😬😬 Basically they said whoever did the oil change at Walmart like torqued something too tight and cracked something (don’t quite remember what exactly) So right away I called Walmart, escalated to the auto manager, Christian and he right away apologized for everything and said they will reimburse for any and all expense to fix it. He said to send him over the invoice and I will be reimbursed. He said he also documented and notated in my customer record there that I will be reimbursed and compensated. I got his name and email address. The mechanic at firestone took a million photos and emailed them to me and I just sent an email to the Walmart manager with the photos. As of the time of writing this, Firestone is still putting together the quote estimate for all the repairs but I spoke to them earlier this morning and the master mechanic said the parts that are needed must be OEM parts ordered from the manufacturer so that could take a few more days — also, at this point the quote isn’t quite complete yet but it’s over $2k already. They will get the finalized quote over to me shortly. I called Walmart corporate customer service and spoke to someone who created a case to escalate higher. Her mind was blown when I told her everything. She also said not to worry and that Walmart will be covering any and all expenses to get it fixed. She said I should be getting a call back from a manager, I assume within the coming days since it’s Xmas Eve. When I was talking to the mechanic from firestone this morning I asked him “just out of curiosity, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst you’ve ever seen…how bad is this damage?” And the guy said an 8 out of 10!!! He said it if I even drove it for a few minutes more, my engine could have seized and potentially even exploded and could have completely ruined my car DO. NOT. BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!

First time here, they do everything to try to get me to leave in the morning. Just every excuse. Second time, customer service was rude and defiant at every interaction. When i got in my car, they had left the engine running, got the seat dirty, and put that i had no oil in the car when i brought it in...i checked the oil level before coming. it was not low. They did not reset the "oil change required" on a 2010 prius, something you can look up on youtube in 1 second. Cashier did everything in his power to not help me. Third time, i have been sitting here, as the first person in line since 6am. It is 7:20, and multiple cars have been greeted and served before me, even though i'm physically the closest the the garage. No one has even looked at me. I'm surprised no one has whooped anyone's ass at this location.

Fast and excellent customer service. They were busy it was a Sunday. I seen the reviews on here about replacing batteries under warranty. I was expecting the worst and it was the opposite. Scott did my car in less than 15 minutes. No questions asked. Scott was amazing HE MADE MY WHOLE WEEK ..THANK YOU!!

Bought brand new tires and paid for installation... Customer service close to NONE, turns out they didn't even balance the tires, which is part of the service according to their website. Once I went inside to pay, they had a whole line because cashier was nowhere to be found, went back outside to ask the gentlemen about if they could possibly call someone for the front to which he responded that's not his area. Wish they worked as hard as they bumped their music. Smh. I hope others have a better experience.

Went in for tires, I had the spare on so they put it in the trunk when replacing it. But instead of taking the stuff in my trunk out and the spare back under the space where it goes. They set it on top of everything that was in my trunk. Including an at LEAST half full oil jug. A few days after taking it there I went to grab something out the trunk and was welcomed with a nice oil soaked trunk. After taking everything out there's a solid half inch puddle of oil. Thanks guys.

Did you know that if you purchase an item from the auto department that has a warranty, when you come back for service your not considered a priority? Yes, that's true. I purchased a battery in 2021 and it was reading at a very low cell. It affected the perfomance of the vehicle (dragging etc) I took it back to this particular location to be replaced and waited 4 hours. When I asked to speak to a Manger he was busy and I was told that my battery swap out wasn't a priority .... 😒 so only new paying customers are a priority. That truly makes me not want to do business with the Auto Department. How do you retain customers after they make a purchase then if they need a fix it's not a priority. Sounds ridiculous. Just an FYI. I along with another customer with a tire repair waited just as long. I've called the store manager 3 times he's not available. In all fairness someone called me back and i missed the call but they didn't need a message. Smh. Customer Service

My experience was awful. I came to get new tires on my car. They told me it would take about and hour and a half. I've been waiting here for 5 hours now and I've confronted the front to ask if it was ready twice already. They told me that it is not ready yet and should be soon. I understand if it gets busy, but I've seen people come and go all day and here I am. Unbelievable.

He took the time to explain the process to me because I have been getting very frustrated with it due to the fact that the gentleman up the front desk don't explain anyting even when asked. Walter should NOT be allowed to balance tires! Maybe spend less time sucking on your douche flute vape and more time learning how to do your job! If you need to put 10+ weights on a rim when balancing a tire then you should pop the bead, spin the tire 180 degrees and retest the balance YW! Now I have to go somewhere else to get my new tires balanced. Remedial at best!

I had a battery replaced today 8/27. The battery we purchased came with a 3 year warranty but they rang us out giving us a credit from our old warranty about 30 dollars and stain going forward we had no warranty on the new battery. I demanded to see a supervisor and finally got my 3 year warranty on my new battery. After leaving I realized they never checked my tire pressure as it stated on my receipt that they did and stated all tires were 30. They lied, I had two low tires when I took it in. They never even checked the tires. Walmart ripoff

Lousiest Walmart experience in Vegas. Make an appointment for 3:00 and you’ll be lucky to be out by 4:30. They will ignore you if you do not speak to them, and they do not care about your issues. Would recommend any discount tire over this.

Won’t bring my car to Walmart again. Everytime I have gone to this location, they are always in a hurry and barely take care of my car. I asked for a certain oil that I always get and they took it among themselves to change the oil type because they said it’s recommended…so I payed $10 more then I normally do….The mechanic noted they could not vacuum (declined -due to unsafe conditions) what the heck? My car was spotless and clean when I brought it in, so whatever… And battery check was also marked (declined check)…windshield wiper fluid declined and that one they said “due to covid” ok…..and tire pressure said (checked ) 33 psi all around. Well because of the neglect and declined work, I decided to check the psi and see if it was 33 and they weren’t, they were all below 33…big surprise… from start to finish the oil change took 11 min total. Fast isn’t always good. It was 10am and no cars ahead of me. Take your car to a specialized auto facility. Thank me later.
