Here at 5pm and they said I can’t get a oil change, because they close at 7pm but don’t take cars after 5

AVOID THIS LOCATION, SEE OTHER REVIEWS. MANAGER TACHO, HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL, he does come off as nice guy at first, but when it comes to ripping customers off with extra fees not told then he turns. ANA at front desk, is very rude and condescending as other reviews point out. See recording below, I asked to speak to Auto Care manager Gabe, who was not on site, when tacho started charging hidden fees and then threatened to steel my keys about the up-charges and my experience a day later., and she refuses to give time when he is available to do so. She laughs in my face Then hangs up in my face after she is done playing games with customers. Here on their website it says, “”Receive free tire installation with purchase, Installation includes mounting & Tire inflation” TERRIBLE SERVICE, DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER TACHO, when called out for extra fees, he threatened to steal my car keys if I don’t pay them. THEY WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF. 2.5 hours made to wait for putting on battery. LOOK AT OTHER REVIEWS, Most of the crew at this shop is disrespectful and unprofessional. On website clearly says “FREE TIRE INSTALLATION” he agreed then after, charged me for $18 extra for the installation and lied and said its illegal not too charge for that. “Rotation & balancing” which I DID NOT WANT. It was ONE wheel so it wasn’t even rotated.

No wonder why this walmart autocenter has 2.5 starts, I ordered 4 tires + installment online with an appointment, I'm not stupid about the logic on tire sizes can you imagine they telling you go somewhere else to install your tires we won't do it here for insignificant mm on the tire size, making an appointment online taking your own day to get to this place for them to tell you someone else will do it and before I saw other customers getting tires install under their criteria but I guess they don't know how to check the specs out of the book only maybe on the convenience criteria, I don't like to make bad reviews it's just maybe the website allowing you to pay for something their employees are not allow to do or is just the convenient criteria I don't know but I know it sucks to take the tires out of a shop with no common sense take some tape measurements out " auto shop"

Whatever you think you might save in money buying from Walmart you burn in time. They have no connection between what is online and what they can get at the store, not that day,but at all.

0 stars. The employee that checked me in was really nice and helpful but after that had a Horrible experience. I took my truck in to get all new tires on my only day off. Spent 2 hours there just to leave with old tires still on and now two broken lug nuts. The tire technician told me they been broken which was a lie and they cannot change tires die to safety reasons. Ok so now they are broken and driving without two lug nuts and old tires. What would be the difference if they put the new tires on? None of the managers was able to help. Ana was rude and deflected all the blame to me.

Had an appointment for 12 pm. Get here at 12:01 and this guy leaves me waiting until 12:17 before coming to check me in. He was talking to some guy, made eye contact with me when I pulled up, but just kept talking. Then, when he comes to check me in, he comments that it's already past my appointment time. After reminding him that he saw me pull in on time, he checked me in. I got 2 tires and wanted them both on the front. I have the spare on the rear passenger side. I said to move that front tire to replace the spare and put the 2 new tires on the front. He said no, they can't rotate my tires because they dont look in good enough condition to him (he did not use any tool to check the tires, he just looked at them for maybe one second), so they wont rotate them. I told him fine, just replace the spare and the front drivers side tire. Says it'll be a 2 and a half hour wait for them to get to my car. So why bother with an appointment!? At 3 p.m. they called me over to tell me that the tires they have for my car are the wrong size, so they can't do the service for me. (I ordered the size that their system said fit my car). It's now 3:40 pm. I don't have new tires, and I won't get my money back for at least 10 days. IF they approve the refund right away, because the lady here marked the tires as picked up in the system after I requested a refund.

I decided to give this place a try after the location on Tropical in Centennial lost my business (I wrote a review about them too). My car began to leak oil and I saw it was time for a change. I drove up and a man with a long grey beard came up and told me it would be an 1.5 hour wait; luckily I had time as it was my day off or maybe this would have been a serious inconvenience. He said he couldn’t guarantee anything but would look for the source of my oil leak. Since it was going to take a while I decided to shop elsewhere too, but to my surprise it was finished in 40 minutes. Not complaining about the job being done quickly 😂 but if I had been quoted an accurate time I probably would have stayed in Walmart and finished my shopping. So I scrambled to gather things I wanted to buy then headed back to the Auto Center. The cashier who helped me was a bit awkward 😬… but when I talked to the same mechanic he told me they found my filter was leaking oil but was unsure if that was the main cause of the leak. So far it’s been good and my car isn’t leaking oil so I appreciate his help. ——— Update: unfortunately today (11/03/24) I had to downgrade my review to 3 stars. They took over 3 hours to do my oil change. I’m not even sure if they did it because my “maintenance required” notice keeps popping up. They didn’t provide me text updates like they said they would so I had to keep checking to see if my car was ready. Then when I checked my bill they charged me twice for an oil filter which I had to correct with the cashier.👎 very disappointed considering how good my service was previously

I’d rate Walmart’s Auto Care Center 4 stars because there was only 1 member to help 5 people. This person provided efficient service, the wait time was reasonable, and the worker was knowledgeable and courteous. I appreciated the convenience and competitive pricing, making it a great experience overall.

I had an appointment at 9am. to replace one tire. My text msg said they could hold my spot for 15min. I got here at 9:10, walked past a mechanic to check in to secure my position. I walked back outside, and two mechanics were outside. I told one of them I had an appointment at 9, and he said it's 9:14, but I did see you walk in earlier. I was going to tell you I could reschedule you. What do you mean? My spot was supposed to be secure for 15 minutes after!!!! That's what it says in my text message! I got here at 9:10!!!! Regardless of my coming past 9am, my spot was supposed to be secure anyway! If that was the case, don't message clients under false pretense!!! He said I can't help my coworker because I'm on light duty! He's the only mechanic. This is a physical job, is it not... and if so, shouldn't you be home recuperating! You don't send an injured constitution worker back on the field to do light duty! What a waste of time. My fault for not being there strictly at 9 am, but don't text clients that their spot will be held 15min after their appointment only to turn them down 5min before 9:15. The mechanic that was on light duty was speaking to me for the other mechanic. I got irritated, so I stopped talking to the light duty worker and spoke to the macanic that seemed like he was checking someone's oil. He looked at me like I couldn't speak, so I'm gonna look at the light duty worker to answer any questions. I felt like I was talking to the wall....

My experience with Walmart when it comes to tires or automotive products is that they always have the best prices and shipping is super fast, service could be a little bit faster, but honestly, it’s nothing to run home and complain about. I will still continue to use Walmart as my tire supplier.

On Friday, October 10, 2024, I took my 2018 Hyundai Elantra SE for tire installation at Walmart. When I checked in with the service writer, I explained to him that two hubcaps for the rear tires are in the back seat of the vehicle. I instructed him that I am taking the old tires with me and have the tires put in the trunk. I handed him the key to the lock on the locking lug nut. When the mechanic pulled the vehicle out of the garage, the hub caps on the rear tires were missing. I flagged the problem to the service writer. The vehicle was put back in a stall and the hubcaps were installed. The old tires were just left by the vehicle. I had to load the tire in my trunk. Upon getting home, I noticed that the front tire valve stem caps were missing. Also the lock on the rear passenger tire was missing. I had 4 regular lug nuts in a plastic bag in my glove compartment. There were only 3 with the lug nut lock key. I drove back to Walmart and complained to the service writer. He got two valve stem caps and installed them. He claimed that the lug nut lock was missing to start with. I used to be a mechanic myself. It is a normal practice to ask the customer when one of the locks is missing. $72 was charged for the PROFESSIONAL tire installation. I really did not feel that the service was professional. After I returned home, I checked my garage, car, and tool boxes, the lug nut lock was not found. I am firm that all four tires had locks. They lost the lock and claimed it was missing to start with. .

Zero stars.. Manager has a iq of 30 and somehow found people under him with a lower iq. Very disorganized and further proof that we need to seriously reinvest in our education system.

Was serviced by a guy with a long beard and mean personality. I drove straight home and my car starts stalling, then cut off and wouldn’t start again. All the lights were still on in my car. I checked my dipstick and saw that it was full of oil way past the double dots. Basically the technician put too much oil in my car and kill my engine.

Hoy fui a este lugar hacer el cambio de aceite a mi carro,..esta es mi 2da visita ,en la 1era visita los muchachos fueron muy amables y profesionales y en 50 minutos me hicieron el trabajo,por lo q desidi volver hoy 11 de julio/2024 llegué a las 10am y las 10:12 se me acercó un empleado y comenzó en su table hacer mi inscripción hasta ahí todo nolmal,a continuación le firmo como está establecido y automáticamente me dice q voy a tener una espera de 2 HORAS,…(pensé q estaba bromeando),observé q solo tenía 2 autos x delante,entré a la sala de espera y allí estuve hasta las 13:10 pm,osea 3 horas,nadie me ofreció ni siguiera Héctor x la demora ,en una ocacion me le acerque y le dije por favor q me chekeara el aire de los neumáticos y eso no ocurrío,..como tampoco.Ni un poco de paño con agua como ocurrió la 1era vez a los vidrios del carro.Mi sorpresa fue leer un cartel de CARFA con 4 ⭐️donde dice son los mejores de las Vegas.👀

Took 20 minutes in the back of shop for someone to come and take information on suv and me asked twice no one came. Seemed they had no late shift employees everyone was leaving at 4pm not working until 7.

Arrived at 3:54 and was told someone will text me when my car is ready. A simple battery replacement. 5:17pm I asked about it since I had been waiting there for more than an hour ! It had been ready since 4:30pm according to the paperwork but no one bothered to wave me over or even text or call to let me know. Very careless about their customers.

I work next door and all I wanted to do was drop my car off for an oil change and come back. Somehow this was beyond their comprehension and ability. Customer service is poor. Don't go here.

If I could put no stars. I had 7am Saturday 24 th appointment, nobody here at 7:05am guy came out door threw his hand up. Another guy walks up they talk until 7:15 am. Then go over to other car that was also waiting, then come to my car at 7:35am my appointment was at 7am. Then I ask for basic oil change which should be 25$ or 30. I was told my chevy equinox 5W-30 required synthetic oil which is much higher I've had my truck for 4yr been getting regular oil changes so now all of sudden it only takes synthetic this a total rip off.

This was my first visit to a Walmart Auto Center. I went inside and waited in line to get a service written by an associate. After a 15 minute wait I was told to go outside for a service form. After another 15 minutes I got my work order written and I was told to go inside to pay for it. After another 10 minutes in line I was told I paid after the work was completed. Frustrating. A sign outside explaining the process would help new customers. The price for my work was good, and they were quicker than they said the work would take. I did meet some nice people in line.
