After sitting outside for 20 mins, while an associate repeatedly made eye contact with me, she finally came out to check me in. Meanwhile my leaking tire had gone flat. If it was only that, it would just be an inconvenience, but the fact it took well over an hour to get to my car, which is ridiculous. Not the mention I was the only person waiting when I got here. I've had an issue every time I've came here. The service isn't poor, it's pathetic. Even if it cost more, I will gladly go elsewhere Update: it took nearly an hour to replace a valve stem (which should be a 10-15 min job), and another 10 mins to wait for someone to come back to the register

I'd leave a lower review if I could. I've never had a good or easy experience here, but have to return for service since I bought the tires here. Called Monday and spoke with a female employee, tried to make an appointment for Thursday to have my tires rotated. She informed me they don't take appointments it's walk in only. I arrive today on my way to work and I'm informed it'll be a 3 hour wait because they have people in that made appointments.... Apparently you can just make appointments online... huge waste of my time and gas.... which is typically the case when I have to deal with this location. I get told one thing on the phone and then get a completely different answer when I arrive.

I've never had an honest experience here. I have to return to maintain the tires I regrettably purchased here. I will just be buying new tires somewhere else as it will be easier to do than to continue to try to work with this location. I called Monday to schedule a tire rotation and was told they don't make appointments for that. I came in Thursday to have the rotation done and was told I would have to wait 3 hours without an appointment. I will not be back for auto care or to shop.

If I could give this auto center a zero, I absolutely would. It is the absolute WORST when it comes to customer service. I wouldn’t know about the actual work they do, because they just ignore you when you need help. I was there yesterday needing help. The the entrance set up weird since the last time I had been, so I went inside and asked for help. I was told to go back outside and wait by the sign, so I did that. There was a line there when I came out so I got in line. They helped everyone up until me and then walked back inside and just ignored me. I sat and waited, and no one came. Then a woman pulled up behind me, waited, then got out to ask for help. They told her they were busy and only 3 of them. She was upset, because she had an appointment. I get it you’re busy, but to sit there and ignore us is ridiculous, at least tell us you’re covered up. I ended up leaving and so did the girl. I tried to go today again, and there were multiple workers, they kept looking over at me but no one would help me and ignored me. Once again, someone else pulled up too but ended up leaving from being ignored. So now I’m sitting at Firestone, who got me in immediately. I’m pretty sure it’s the same cost or possibly a little less here too, but the fact they actually answered me and were willing to take me in immediately since I was on a donut makes up for their prices in my opinion anyway. Walmart has lost plenty of money just in the two days I witnessed because of the trash service they have. I’ve learned my lesson this time and will never ever go back to their auto care center and others should do the same. The customer service here is garbage.

Tires are cheap, they are fast once they get you inside. However they moved things around to accommodate grocery delivery and it's a disorganized mess. Not sure where to wait. The mechanics are often the ones to check you in which they obviously don't want to do. No signs to indicate where to wait and it seems to be against the flow of traffic and changes everytime I go. The service itself is basic but decent prices. You think Walmart could afford some signs.

Very disappointed, I went to have the oil changed on my car. I specifically asked for Quaker state 5w-20 FULL SYNTHETIC. They gave me a conventional oil. Didn’t notice until my car (that isn’t compatible with conventional oil) had the low oil pressure light on after about 100 miles. Changing with full synthetic tomorrow myself. I’m hoping this didn’t destroy my vehicle’s wet belt system, which is a VERY expensive fix. Ridiculous… no way I’ll ever come back for an oil change… UPDATE: my car now needs a new timing belt and oil pump due to the ignorance of the automotive employees. I would love if they would make this right as it is going to cost me a few thousand dollars, but I’m very doubtful they will.

Waited 45 mins just to be seen and then 5 hours for an oil change and 2 tires… then I look at my papers and it said all tires were checked for properly inflated… it said all tires are at 35 psi… mine take 50 psi! I’ll never do that again

Whats the point of having an appointment if it means nothing? Had a 3:30appt only to just take me vehicle back at 5pm cause it still hasn't been seen, bottom mention everything is ass backwards there, will never come back and can only hope they go outta business

Got 4 tires replaced, one went flat within 3 weeks, they refused to replace it because I didn’t buy their special roadside package. If your Walmart tires fail you will be paying for new ones yourself unless you buy their special roadside insurance, which is pricy. Shit base warranty, do not recommend EVER buying tires here unless you have no other alternative.

Ridiculous. They have their entry set up backwards. The entrance to the garage was closed off with NO signs to go to the “exit.” I went inside to check in 15 min before my appointment. A random associate had to flag the auto workers down. One guy came in and told me to circle around, an associate will get to me when they can. What’s the point of an appointment then? Can confirm behavior from recent reviews of NOT being acknowledged and being IGNORED. They took another car before mine so I knew it would be hours before mine is finished. I waited another 15 minutes after pulling around. Still ignored, wasted my time driving here and 30 Mon of sitting just to be ignored. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE if you value your time!!!

I called the automotive department to inquire about new tires. Since the Google result only listed "Oil change service," I wanted to make sure I had the right place, so I asked if this was the department that does tires. The lady who answered the phone said "Well, this is the automotive center, so yeah" in a very rude tone. I said there's no reason to be rude, and she hung up on me. Definitely going elsewhere.

This is one of those moments when you really wish Google would allow you to give 0 stars to a business. I bought a set of 4 brand new tires online with an appointment scheduled to have them installed, and I arrived 45 minutes early for my appointment. Pulled up to the entrance and sat for about 15 minutes without being greeted or checked in. I then proceeded to call the auto care center non-stop for the next 20 minutes. When they wouldn't answer. I tried calling the operator at Walmart to speak with a manager. But of course, that call went unanswered as well. After waiting for 45 minutes and now at my appointment time. I turned my car off. Walked inside and stood at the counter, continuing to call until someone finally came up and asked if I needed something. I tried to tell him what was going on, but he cut me off before I could finish a sentence. He asked where I was parked and I told him the entrance to the garage. He said, "Oh...you need to park on the other side." (i.e., The exit) Why in God's name would you expect customers to assume they should pull up to the exit? I asked for my tires so that I could take them elsewhere to be put on because, frankly, I can get it done cheaper at any tire shop in town but was going to do it here for the convenience.

I went in to get a pair of new tires. I had a flat. car ran well and had no shaking. When I got the car back i got onto the highway and suddenly front end shaking. I took it back to make sur the tires were balanced. They claimed i had a bent rim and of course they claimed it was before hand. I never experienced front end issues until the tires changed. Will never go back. I do not recommend. They will not resolve or offer to replace. trash service

I came by today for an oil change only even though last time I had to wait 3 hours. Well, I got ignored until I finally asked the clerk inside for help, he was rude and told me to wait outside some more. I then proceeded to get ignored while a man with his daughter pulls up and gets their oil change in immediately. I’ve never felt so disrespected. I won’t ever come back to Walmart auto center ever again! Your employees need to learn some manners! And shame on y’all for making a pregnant woman wait in the sun just to be ignored while you help customers that came in after me.

Always expect a wait, so shop and look around for 2 hours or get dropped off and pick up your car later. Most days are fine, and sometimes customers met with a little bit of an attitude, but most of the time they are polite. It just depends on who you get. Expect an hour or two wait, unless on there on a super busy day (like this day below). This one time recently. The ONLY time, so don't let this review hinder you from going, because the majority of the time it's smooth sailing, just the expected wait time. But for the first time I had a bad experience (which was a 1 star day). I had been called or called a total of 3 times that morning to check the status and then be asked if a certain tire replacement was fine since my warranty ("lifetime warranty of the tire") was out/invalid after a certain amount of tread left on the tires, but there's still over half of the original height of tread left. Then after they said okay it'll be ready in 30 minutes. (I called back once, because of a missed call and then this phone call.) I get there 40 minutes after the phone call to give a little extra leeway time. My car was parked outside of the garage but facing it, which I new was odd because they usually park the finished vehicles on the side or pointed away from the garage. I noticed my tire was still very low. I went inside to trade my ticket in for the keys. The older woman at the register was rude after she said your car's not ready (so they had removed my car completely after I gave the go on that tire they asked about and after saying it'll be ready in 30 minutes from the time of the call). But this lady with an unapproachable attitude, went to go check, just to come back even ruder just to repeat what I had just said the call was about 40 minutes prior, the attitude was well they called you and you didn't answer their question, wrong no communication from one employee to another and no accountability taken on their part after I had spent atleast ten minutes answering the other employees questions and saying that's fine I'll go with that tire on the phone before showing up. Anyways... about 30 more minutes or so, my car was ready. So it went from being the fourth car in line that day to maybe 7 or 8 in line, all because of the lack of communication from one employee on the phone to another. (The missed call was in the time span of seconds, then I called back and talked to the person for about 10 minutes, that's all.)

Do not pre pay for your tires at this walmart. I made an appointment for 6 o'clock, they close at 7, had absolutely no getting work. So they canceled my appointment and told me two people cant change 2 tirws in a hour refund in 7-10 daysme

I just needed a new tire placed on my vehicle. It was two hours before they even got my car in the shop. Then I waited 3 more hours waiting on a text message or a call overhead or anything saying my car was ready never got it. Had to have a friend drive me home after spending 4 or 5 hours walking around in Walmart because I walked over and they were closed. Worst experience with Walmart auto ever.

My boyfriend arrived at 7:45 He sat there for over 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged he was there along with another customer behind him. He went inside and waited till he finally seen someone and he told them to pull around the other side and someone would be right with them. NO ONE CAME OUT!! They both got tired of waiting and left. Not very good customer service today. Won’t be back there for an oil change

Today is a Sunday afternoon here in Knoxville Tennessee and the service woman named Tristan and her supervisor being very short staffed squeeze me in and made sure I tires that I so desperately needed for my road trip I appreciate there help and recommend this Walmart auto location for your basic car services I feel they are really trying to keep this locations in great operating condition thanks for reading 😉

What a joke of a service center. I called to have 4 tires scheduled to be put on, the guy said bring it on in now. I showed up 20 min later and the girl said 'sorry but bring it back in the morning'. Ok fine, she was nice and apologetic, I get it. Brought it back in the morning and one of techs greeted me with "what do you want?" I said I need tires. He said he's not doing tires today. I told him about the my conversations with the people the day before, telling me to come now, and he didn't care at all. I know he didn't care because he told me. Super rude. It's a tire and lube shop, a very easy job and these people can't even manage that. What a joke.

Called ahead to ask if they could swap out a battery since I purchased one through them and it was a faulty battery. They said yes as long as I got there before six I showed up at 5:22 and they refused saying that they were backed up. Yet when I called, I was told sure come on in as long as you’re here before six so I drove all the way over there just for the guy in the shop area to tell me that they couldn’t, and when I asked them why the guy answering the phone told me sure I come before six he said oh well, they’re not the same as us. And when the guy answered the phone, he said auto center not just Walmart SMH if you have hours to a certain time you should honor the people that show up before posted closing time if you’re behind that’s not our fault.
