I think everyone was having a bad day when I went in this week. There was a newer person that they were helping but no one could remember what I was asking for. When I first got there I went to park my car on the side and walked into the customer service side, told them I needed a plug tire. I was immediately addressed but had an employee there who was a male get too close to for my liking, and when I looked at him weirdly he told me he was going to be working on my car and would get it fixed right away, told me to move my car to the tire isle. I moved it there only to have two mechanics tell me not to do that and I needed to go into customer services and park my car back on the side. The guy who said he was going to work on my tire, never came out. I let the mechanic know what I needed and told him I already spoke to them. Instead of him going inside to figure it out, he told me to park my car on the side and go back inside again and told me they weren’t supposed to do that. I get it but it’s freezing outside, I’m uncomfortable due to the brief harassment and it’s not my responsibility to be the lesson of the day by teaching customer service what they need to do for mechanics to help fix my tire. I just wanted my tire fixed. So I go inside to let customer service know and they act like I didn’t tell them I wanted my tire plugged and they thought I just wanted air in my tire. They start going into details about how they can’t fix a hole if its too big, I get it that’s fine. Then the women start showing me tires and asking me which tire I want forgetting they I never asked for a tire and I only wanted my tire plugged. So she had to start her system over all over again. At this point she’s making comments to the new person, if she needs help, she needs to say something. The newer girl had someone there the entire time so their was no excuse for them to be messing up so badly. Going to a regular tire shop takes this process less than 15mins to do. Here, it took them over 30 minutes to get through customer service and about 30 mins to get the tire fixed (it wasn’t even busy, I was the only one there at the time). The only benefit is that if you’re a Walmart member, you get a plugged tire for free and that’s the only reason for my 3 stars. I get stuff happens but don’t act like it’s my fault you couldn’t remember what I needed help with. I know my needed repair because it wasn’t holding air. I was probably the only sober person there.

Absolutely horrible service was getting my tired changed after walking around for 45 minutes I asked if it was done yet the lady at the counter told me to ask the mechanics and said the same thing when I came back in to check again 45 more minutes later

Everyone here is super nice and helpful - got me taken care of when the Walmart in West Columbia had rude staff and just said "we can't do it."

I had a great experience today...which fortunately, I always do in the auto center at Walmart. The services that I went there for turned into something completely different when I left out, which was completely fine. The nice lady at the counter was very professional and kind. She explained the benefits of the work that I had choosen to be done to my car, took my keys and prepped the paperwork for a crew member pick it up. The very nice young man that was servicing my car came back in to tell me of the issues that I had with 2 of my tires. He was very thorough and detail oriented with explaining to me all the problems. I'm not a car person, AT ALL, like AT ALL. So it was really nice to actually understand exactly what he was telling me. He looked through the different tire options and prices on a tablet and showed me what I had to work with. Not long after making my tire decisions, he assured me I was good hands and quickly left back out the door to continue working on my car. What seemed like 2 secs, he came right back in to tell me the task was complete and my car was ready. My entire time I spent there had to have been a little over an hour. while sitting and waiting, a few other customers and myself laughed and cracked a few jokes to help the time pass. Maybe thats why it seems like it took only a few mins...I will def continue to choose Walmart for my auto services.

Ordered 2 tires from Walmart and then had this location install them. One of the tires kept losing air. After a week, went back for them to fix the problem. The person told me that a part was not installed properly, but that they replaced it and now is fine. About 3 weeks after that, the other tire started to lose air! Ugh

We had four new tires installed and they did it so quickly, I was very impressed the clerk at the automotive department and the guys in the garage all very professional and knew what they were doing. Will definitely be back for whatever else our car needs.

Got there at 10:15, was told I would be called with updates. To make it even better I chose just to sit in the waiting area. Two hours later I get up there and just ask myself. They tell me the oil change was declined, so I leave and then realize my car is leaking oil, and they have screwed something up in it. Never come here, customer service have zero clue what they’re doing and same goes for the mechanics.

Always get wonderful service from the team. Management is great. I am always served within the time I am given, and often much sooner. They take into consideration all of my concerns and questions. I use them often because of the aforementioned.

I go every year they put one tire on wrong side I'm glad I checked they corrected it I was ok had to wait from 11am til 2pm Lord have Mercy

I needed 4 tires mounted and balanced. They couldn't do it because my lug nuts were "torqued to tight." They don't know to break them loose by hand. They tore up one of my lug nuts in the process. Total waste of time - my fault, this is the second time this happened. I'm a Walmart fan, but won't bother with the car care again.
