I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Walmart Auto Care Center on Galleria Blvd in Charlotte, NC. Despite having made an appointment well in advance, I was left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. When I arrived, there were less than two vehicles in the bay, yet the employees did not seem in any hurry to check in my vehicle. I was left out in the cold, with no indication of when my car would be serviced. It seemed like the employees couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my presence or the scheduled appointment. They were not only inattentive but also lacked basic courtesy. Standing outside, hoping for someone to eventually notice and assist me, was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. To make matters worse, the technicians appeared inexperienced and did a poor job servicing my car. They only changed the oil and neglected to replace the oil filter, which is a standard part of an oil change service. My vehicle started having issues almost immediately after the visit, and I had to take it to another mechanic to fix the problems caused by their shoddy work. What should have been a quick visit turned into a much longer ordeal than necessary. This lack of efficiency, experience, and disregard for appointments is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this location if they are looking for prompt and competent service. Walmart Auto Care Center at Galleria Blvd needs serious improvements in both customer service and technical skills. It was a highly disappointing experience overall. Better to go to another auto care store if you don’t want to have your truck broken down just after an oil change.

No saben cambiar el aceite de un vehículo. No saben cambiar un filtro de aceite. Muy mal que ofrezcan un servicio que no saben cómo hacerlo 😡😡😡

Booked a time, but they cancelled when i arrived because they didn't have a tire tech. How can an auto care center not have anyone who can change tires? Employee lied and said they called to cancel but that didnt happen. Wasn't busy there with only 1 car in a bay. One auto employee was walking around the building, another was in the lobby playing on his phone. Absolutely terrible place.

Horrível Funcionário mais tempo no celular do que trabalhando. Uma simples trocar de pneus quase um dia para fazer. .um descaso com as pessoas esperando. O que é pra ser um serviço rápido foi horrível e estressante. Nunca mais trago meu carro aqui.meu carro há 2 horas do lado de fora . E nenhum carro sendo atendido

I've been coming to this Walmart auto center for over 9 years I'm originally from Birmingham Alabama and I must say I get the best treatment whenever I come just like today I had Xavier as my tire center mechanic he was polite and very informative about everything I asked so go see Xavier at the Walmart tire center on galleria boulevard!! Excellent customer service!

Worst place ever, I scheduled a visit for change my tire, I went 3 times, and every times they rescheduled because no tecnichian available, (why you give me appointment if you dont have no one who work? The last time they take my car, made me to be in the store 2 hours waiting for my car and then call me saing it is too late, they close at 7 and they didn't the work. Dont waste you time here.

I would give them 0 stars. I had a bad experience there today. Unprofessional, bad attitudes. I had an appointment today. Got to me about a hour later. Keep walking right past me. This used to be a very good auto store. Now they need to fire everybody in there. And start over. I'm never going back there.

They cancelled my appointment without informing me (I drove 40 mins to get there); poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and truly disgusting! I would really like to meet the hiring manager; who hired these guys? I bet they have never fixed anything before. Forget about getting service there!

I give them a minus 10,000. I went for a simple oil change. I called first to see if there was a long wait but nobody answered the phone. I drove 20 minutes one way, when I got there, I thought well there's no line so I can get in and out. I called the guy over and told him what I needed and he said they only do appointments. I told him that I called first and he said "we control the phones too". They weren't busy at all so I said I have 4% oil life left and I really need to get this done today can you help me? He said no you'll have to go on line and make an appointment. I used to go to Walmart auto on 1830 Galleria Blvd to get my oil changed but I will NEVER go there again! The guy had such a non caring attitude and if somebody had answered the phone then I would have gone somewhere else, which is what I did anyway! I wasn't asking for 10 million dollars just a simple oil change

I would give zero stars! They only had oil for the $70 oil change and said that was the only oil they had. Never offered to get oil in the bottles from the store and never offered a discount on the super expensive ones. Terrible

Sat at the door for 30min, one person walked up and said my vehicle wouldn't fit, I pulled the previous oil change sticker from my windows then another person says we have no oil and all I see is people standing around doing nothing and then another guy says appointment only its obvious that they don't want to work. unbelievable!!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Yesterday I took my car in for an oil change at the autocare center. After they couldn't figure out how to get my oil plug off they started my car and drove it without a filter, causing the oil to spill out and my engine to seize up. My engine is now ruined and my car undrivable. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, the walmart associates were rude, condiscending, and one was even aggressive. Brad Terry, the store lead, was rude and agressive towards my father. At one point, Brad made it seem like he was going to get physical with my father for asking to get his contact information. They made me pay out of pocket for a tow truck for my car, that was sitting undrivable in the service bay due to their mistake. They also made me pay out of pocket for a rental car.

WALMART GALERÍA BLVD TERRIBLE SERVICE. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AT 3pm FOR CHANGE MY CAR TIRES AND THE STORE CANCEL THE ORDER, NOBODY NOTIFIED ME . NOBODY TALK TO ME, THEY WALKING, SMOKING AROUND AND THE LINE OF CUSTOMERS WAITING OUTSIDE. I WENT WITH MY KIDS, THE TIRES WAS REALLY BAD BUT I TRUSTED TO THIS COMPANY AND THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT OUR SAFETY. I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TALK TO A “SUPERVISOR “ THEY SAID THEY DONT KNOW HOW IN THE STORE CANCEL THE ORDER, THEY APOLOGIZED AND THATS IT (NOBODY CARES ) . Did all oil change here and also tire installation here. Battery is good. This time I come for a tire rotation they tell me the lock nut is too tight so they couldn't service it. However it was done here last time. But they tell me it could be somebody else who service the car in between. Also they lie about their service: the service list clearly said they do terminal change for the battery, and the manager said they don't do it here and he's standing in front of the service list.

I really enjoy getting my oil changed at the Walmart auto center. The manager went above and beyond for me. I needed a bolt and this man went to the auto store and got it for me. Amazing and my tech Medhe was so friendly. They are keeping me as a customer.

Purchased my tires online from Walmart and had them installed here. The tire technicians were very professional and did a great job on my installation. Yes, you should probably plan to be there for a while as they do seem to be understaffed but I knew that going in. Overall I’m happy with my experience. I purchased my tires at a great price and you can trust Walmart to install your tires correctly.

People who respect themselves and their time will not come here again, they change the oil of a car in 2 hours, there was a vehicle in front of me and then there was me, they changed the oil of my car in 4 hours and 20 minutes and gave it back to me, what kind of working style is this, they don't work at all, it's a waste of time, you go to Valvoline and they change the oil in 15 minutes, you go to Firestone and they change the oil in 15 minutes, you go to Walmart and they change the oil in 4.5 hours...

Even with the first pre-made appointment of the day and first car in the garage during opening at 8:00am. A basic tire rotation and oil change took well over 2 hours. I can't imagine coming when there is a line. Guys are nice here but it's slow so prepared to wait 2-3 hours for service. I'm going to go back to the other auto center further down the way going forward. Appointments made first should be attended to first. If you simply help walk in customers first what’s the point of making an appointment to begin with? Please fix this as everything else is fine here *update - went here for a basic tire rotation 45 minutes before closing, did not hold my breathe as per usual they told me they weren’t accepting anyone anymore* Avoid this Walmart auto center AT ALL COSTS. Place is ran by a bunch of unprofessional, poorly managed staff

The best experience about the Auto service is the professional and outstanding clerk at the service desk Vonya!! She deserves to be recognized for help with me for purchasing a tire and follow through. The Auto guys in the bay were confusing, did not know what was going on I didn't know what was going on and in the end I'm sure the Auto guys up charged me! I will never use Walmart for the Auto service Again! But Thank you to Vonya for her outstanding work!!

The worst tire experience I ever had. The crew is very very slow. Manager never around. And please talk more than the work. I went there for a tire repair and I had to wait 3 hours while it takes 20 minutes in other places. This is not the first time I'm having issues with this location this is the third time and each time is worse than the other. You better do something. I will never come back there

I had a 9AM appointment and was told it would be a 2 hour wait for an oil change. That says everything you need to know. Go elsewhere.

After changing the oil, the engine of my car was not filled with oil. THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE ENGINE AT ALL. They just forgot to fill oil and didn’t check it. Luckily, I noticed this immediately after the car was returned to me. Otherwise my engine would seize up and be completely broken because of no oil

⚠️STAY AWAY⚠️ I took my car here for an oil change and the next day my hood would not open due to the latch inside being broken. It took a week for anyone to get back to me about filing a claim and not even the 24 hours later a Walmart corporate rep called saying they reviewed the surveillance video and will not take any accountability for the damage. But how can you see footage of inside the car? I’ve take my car to 5 different places since then including the dealership and they cannot figure out what happened nor how to open my hood. The people who work here are incompetent and don’t care about your car. It’s not worth it.
