I came in a few minutes after 6pm (TLE closes at 7pm on Saturday). I saw about 5 workers not working, sitting in the shop on their phones. I asked if they had time for a flat repair and they said no. Then proceeded to lie about the timeframe it takes to do a flat repair and that they had 2 other work orders ahead of me. After observing them and talking more with a technician I learned the work order ahead of me was declined for service and the other was a battery charge (nothing that required man-power, it was on a charger). So I was declined service for no reason other than the technicians and shop manager (Kale?) didn’t want to do a flat repair at 6:10pm on 12/14/2024. I’ll take my business to Les Schwab on Monday. I sat in front of the tire and lube until 6:40pm watching the technicians on their phones and not working.

I always go to this location for my oil change and I have never had to wait more than 45 minutes. Everyone is always friendly and I am happy with my service there!

I purchased a car battery & had it installed at the auto center in Walmart. Was pleasantly surprised with the knowledgeable, friendly and quick service. I didn't have an appointment but they took my car right in and switched out battery and put air in my tires. I would definitely recommend and return for further servicing.

If I could give negative stars I would! I visited the Overland, Boise ID tire center. This tire center is absolutely horrible. I was in from eastern Oregon to drive my 83 year old father, and 79 year old mother, two and a half hours one way for my father to have heart surgery. I developed a slower leak in my front drivers side tire. My husband had purchased the tires etc. from the walmart tire center back home in north dakota. I went in to the counter and explained my situation with the tire, and my necessity for needing fixed today since they were discharging my father from the hospital. That I needed to drive them home (2 1/2 hours one way) through winter ice, snow and rain. That there are large areas of no cell service and no towns or people living close by. He told me that the earliest they could see my car was Monday - today is Thursday. Another female staff member came up as he told me that they only did appointments. And she told me I should look at other service centers in the area, cause they are less busy than they are. I'll point out that they had one car in the service area, one car being checked in, and four service guys standing around, doing NOTHING. I was upset, but calm. I mentioned that I understand being busy, and I would never be pushy about something like this, but I am in a tight spot with the fact of needing to get my parents home. That it was unsafe to make the trip with a tire issue. She told me they only did appointments. That I should try another center. I stated that I was from out of state, that I didn't know the area. She gave me a blank look. I said we'll looks like I get to drive all over the area to try to get it in. ANY person with an ounce of customer service would have either mentioned the stores with tite centers, or offered to call the other centers to see if they could squeeze me in. She did neither. Both of them laughed at me as i left the counter to go to my car. I personally would have been absolutely ashamed of myself had I not done my best to aid a woman who was traveling with elderly and disabled parents, and facing the driving conditions! They were not young, and I wish I had gotten their names. He had ridiculous dual braids in his hair and beard. She was late forties to early fifties, short, stocky and blonde. I went out to my car, I pulled up the next closest tire center and called them. The gentleman (Terry) that answered the phone listened to me and told me to come right in. As soon as they could they would squeeze me in. I may have to wait a bit, but it would be done. That this was their policy in situations like this. I thanked him and drove there. I expressed my thanks, and how grateful I was for him being able to work my car in. Sitting in the waiting area the difference is huge! Phone ringing Every couple of minutes, customers coming in, and all bays and guys in the service area working on vehicles. All staff are courteous and helpful. Im thankful there are still decent honest hardworking people in this world! But you will not find them at the overland service center in boise ID,

The wait time all because my ranger had a different door. Off a 90 bronco. It's been 49 minutes so far. I had 2 tires replaced, that's it. They've been on the truck for 20 minutes now. They still haven't released the truck. This is my 13th reason why Probably fine service. I'm just mad at waiting

Had tires put on by them which was a hassle in itself. Then when I get home I had to take my wheels off because I was going to paint them and one lug bolt was completely stuck. Had to get it off with my torque wrench but all of the others bolts came off fine. Went in the next morning and talked to Steve the manager who lacks knowledge and is condescending tries to blame it on me for not knowing how to correctly take wheels off. I’ve probably changed over 20 wheels in my lifetime and this has never happened. I’m sure their guys cross threaded my bolts with the impact but he says they only put bolts on by hand. Yea right every tire shop I’ve ever gone to they use an impact gun. Says he can cover $25 if that’s what it takes to replace a wheel stud. Actually costs $55 at Les Schwab. Lesson learned. Steve is a POS

I called ahead of time and arrived 2 hours before closing to get a battery replaced. Free install if you buy it there. There were two mechanics and one vehicle just geting pulled in to get tires changed. I then get told that they didn't have anyone to change the battery and would have to make an appointment for the next day to get a 10 minute battery swap done. 10 minutes!!! They insisted they had to keep the second mechanic available for an oil change. But they offered to lend me the tools... then proceed to ask for a drivers license for security on the tools, that I used standing in their parking lot and in their view. Took about the same amount of time than if he just changed the battery. I finished the job and carried the dead battery back in. The whole time the oil lane remained empty while the 2nd mechanic helped the other changing tires on the truck. Just couldn't take 10 minutes to swap a battery. Poor customer service not being able to think that one through.

Purchased tires and made an appointment through the app. When I arrived the staff said none of my info was in the system. They were super helpful and looked into my order. They found all 4 tires I had purchased, got me right in and all with a good attitude, and a smile. Not sure why the app and their system are not in sync, but they took great care of me!!

It’s a bad place to do services, they do the easy job but for a little hard one they say we are sorry, you have to reschedule for this problem. I bought tires in the second week one of the tires got flat I came for the fixing they fixed but every other day it decrease the air I fix two appointments but both time they canceled on the third time I scheduled to change the other two tires as well and they said we will fix your other tire too but at end they sold their tires on me they said we don’t have enough people to fix your other tire . I waited one and half hour to talk to their manager about my problem but the manager did not show up

Used vacation time so I could make it to a tire appointment Saturday. They cancel it and then tell me they can get me in Sunday. Used more vacation time so I could make that appointment. Just got a message they are full and cannot get me in. More hours of PTO wasted. Then get a link to reschedule. Luckily for me all of the open days are my work days.. going to have to burn more PTO now. Oh and the link doesn’t even work. I pick a day and time and it tells me I’m not allowed to reschedule. Walmart, get it together. Incredibly frustrating. Update** just called the store to ask what’s going on And they told me that the tire center was totally destroyed. The woman on the phone basically called me a liar, saying that Nobody would have left me a message saying they’ll be able to get me in in the future. Marianne left me a message on the 8th. She also didn’t tell me that my tires were destroyed Or what to do about getting this all fixed. Anyways, will not be going to Walmart anymore.

Walmart does not honor the Road Hazard Warranty even though the listed on the website as included in the purchase. They charged me separately for it. Don't bother buying these tires from Walmart. Buy them from somewhere else that wont charge you: 1.50 for disposal, 3 for valves, 10 for mounting, 10 for road hazard, 10 for install, 14 for road hazard warranty, and so on. Not worth it at/on Walmart, even if you save 10 per tire online, it actually came out to more than other tire places, esp when those places include all the necessary components with your purchase. Never buying tires from Walmart again.

We asked for a 25 dollars oil change, and when we were going to pay they charged us 50 saying that our car needed full synthetic oil. I believed them, and afterwards checked the car's user manual which says our car doesn't require full synthetic oil. So they lied to us so that we would pay for the more expensive oil, and that they wouldn't have to change it out due to their mistake. We won't be getting our oil changes here anymore.

I had oil changed and tires inflated and they just gave me a paper with the services done but didn't explain anything to me, so idk what they even did other than the paper. Apparently it said my transmission is leaking... you'd think that was serious enough to tell the customer in order for me to fix...

Wretched. Just pay a little extra somewhere else where employees know what their job expectations are and there is communication when someone is spending money at your business. Their phone also is broken so when you call good luck understanding a word they are saying, not like they want to talk to you anyways.
