After having been referred by another family friend, we were recommended this mechanic. I had taken my 2000 Chevy Impala for some minor issues such as the blinker not functioning properly, or AC problems. But when it came to more complex situations like my improperly working power steering pump, we weren't accommodated with the good quality parts. When they had put a new power steering pump the first time, it turns out it happened to be defected after barley driving it. So, we took it back and they put a new one acknowledging that indeed it was defected. Just 3 months in we realized that my steering was hard just as it used to be unfortunately. Having brought it to another mechanic that we trusted more, it turns out that it may have been the improper pump for my car. My new mechanic made sure to perform several tests to ensure that my pump was working correctly for my steering wheel, and indeed it worked out as it was of the right quality for my car. My parents had also brought their 2012 Outback for brake work, and it turns out that Vo's workers had installed the brakes backwards making them improperly function. This was revealed to us by our new mechanic. We would have gone back to get them replaced by them for no charge but after my incident of having gotten installed two defected power steering pumps, we had lost our trust in Vo's auto repair. I would recommend only coming here for minor issues, rather than complex ones. Just take it into consideration.

I asked them not to do my brakes and they did them anyways but I had to pay them anyways since they did the service and it was $600.

Had a full fluid service asked that they make sure to only use synthetic oil and they used conventional oil. Ive never used conventional oil VERY frustrating since i explained multiple times not to use regular motor oil.. First time and the last time here..

This is second trip to Vo's for a different car. The communication was incredible. The technician we had was Jon, got in diagnosed the problem and saved us money by seeing if some of the parts are salvageable, which they were. Car was towed there late Monday afternoon around 4 and got a call today (Wednesday) morning and it was ready. Also love they support our military. Cant say enough good things them-turn around, price and honesty-what more can you ask for.

Been taking my cars here for years. He's super honest which in itself makes it significantly cheaper then anywhere else I've gone. Prices are a little higher now that he's in a new building but it makes sense since the facilities seem a lot nicer. I can't say it enough, having a mechanic that you actually are able to trust that doesn't try to use fear to upsell you on every filter, blinker fluid top off etc is so important. Will even tell you if it's cheaper for you to find your own used part for them to install. Only possible negative thing I can think of is there is a mild language barrier at times over the phone but maybe it's just me either way I don't care I'm still coming back

Car was over heating. We replaced it three months ago by another person . Called here to ask for help. They found found out the thermostat wasfrozen. They did an amazing job. Very honest My friend sister passed away and came in town for her. They helped him and they fixed it same day. 🙏🏽I will not go anywhere else again I love this place.!!

I called about my radiator and they said they can't help me because they can't get the part. The parts are available everywhere and easy to get. I told them I'll go get the part if they don't want to and then they said no your car is too old. It's unfortunate they looked for a reason to no work on my car even though it is easy to work on, not too old, and parts are readily available. So much for the good reviews.

I have been doing business with Vo for nearly 20 years. His work is great. He is honest, his final bill is equal to or less than his estimate. Today, He helped me out of a time crunch problem i had even though he was busy and short staffed. I can not say enough nice things about this family run business! Thank you Vo

I've been trusting VO with my auto repairs for close to 20 years, and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. He does quality work for close to half of what other shops charge and he also does everything he can to save you money. Like troubleshooting issues before coming in and his turn around is quick! No 1 week in the shop. You'll have your car back the same day or shortly thereafter. I've had my car towed 30 miles to him and still saved money. He's told me before that by being affordable and taking good care of his customers, it will bring him more business. That's 100% true. I send everyone I know to him. Plus, he and his wife are super nice people!

My wife and I have used Vo's for 20 years. They are the best mechanics in Gresham. Very fair and they seem to be able to work on any car. For the past 4 years they have worked on a BMW 328i. So they are flexible. Fair prices too.

This place sucks I had them do my brakes and they kept changing the price and when I went to pick my car up they told me my ebrake line was broken even though it wasn't broke when I dropped it off and when I took the mechanic to my car and showed him how to pump the ebrake handle to prime the ebrake and showed him the ebrake was not broken and he was just stupid. Don't take your car here they are winging it probably watching YouTube videos to fix your vehicle

Vo and his wife are straight shooters and they have helped me out so much this past year on my aging Subaru. I am rough on my car and have put a lot of miles on it since purchasing it. They are fair and practical and they consistently have made sure that they can help me prioritize what I need to get done. Please give this small auto body shop your business! You won’t regret it!

Vo's Automotive is the absolute the Best place to take your Vehicle for any problems. For close to 27 years I have taken my cars, My Daughters, and now my grandkids cars to Vo's. Before retiring I was an independant car dealer and have literally had Vo's work on over 100 different cars and trucks... I would say 95% of mechanics out there will do what they can to get your bill as high as possible but this is NOT the case with Vo. You can drop your Auto off there and rest assured that you will have excellant results and were charged for nothing more than what was needed.... Vo's Automotive is pretty much a 1 of a kind Business... A+++++++ ALL THE WAY!!!!.

Based off of what friends have told me about their experience, and also did not post a review, i would like to make a suggestion. When a customer comes in an asks for a specific repair, do that. Feel free to suggest other repairs you might think or know to be required, but by all means do not remove every fuse that isnt required to start or drive the vehicle. Give your suggestion and/or recommendation and respect the customers decision after informing them. Dont take it upon yourself to do what you want without the owners knowledge or approval.

Tried to tell me my AC needed a recharge when it worked fine along with a laundry list of other things. Go here if you want to be scammed. AVOID AT ALL COST
