I seldom submit reviews, but I am inspired to do so because this was such a great experience. Everyone at Vonderlehr, and I mean each, and every person I encountered demonstrated superior customer service. I was not oversold for things I did not need, service was expeditious and convenient. Above all, it was clear that this business values and demonstrates a culture committed to service. I would recommend them to anyone and I’m just sorry I’m only now acquainted with them.

I brought my wife to MCV for surgery- while on the road my tire light came on. After checking her into the hospital I just googled a local tire repair company and luckily found this family operated repair shop. They understood my situation and immediately diagnosed the problem. I was fixed and back to the hospital in about an hour. I am so glad I found this place! They truly care about their customers.

Great professional service at a reasonable cost. Performed a tire puncture repair on an EV tire having foam inside; fixed it really well. Highly recommend this place for any tire service.

I can’t say enough good things about this company and the employees. They are affordable and they are fast. They have get me in and out every time I’ve come. They won’t sell you something you don’t need like so many of the tire places around. I won’t go to anyone else for tires in Richmond. If you are looking for a trust worthy tire place look no further. I highly recommend them to everyone I meet.

This was hands-down the best experience I’ve had with any automotive service, ever. Not only did they fit me in promptly and give me an incredible deal, the conversation I had with John genuinely made my day — what a lovely person (if you’re reading this, thank you!). I will never go anywhere else for tires as long as I live in Richmond!

I’ve brought a couple vehicles here and both times I’ve been so impressed with their quality of service. Impeccable. And I’ve been to other local shops (I won’t name names) that were horrible. In one instance, I went in for new tires and left needing body work because on of their employees tried driving my car into a port and took a corner too sharp and too fast. These guys are the complete opposite. Total pros. And friendly. Plus they’re independently owned. And their shop is just full of fun stuff to look at. It’s like going back in time.

customer service could be nicer and communication be a bit better. Coupons are valued at exact amount as stated so at least that is done right. The older employees are nice but I would avoid the son.

This place was a lifesaver. I was having a tire issue thousands of miles from home on a trip and was understandably stressed about it. The man who assisted me was kind and thorough, he took his time explaining the answer to all my questions and made sure to investigate everything I asked about so I felt confident about the fix and also understood the issue. This place was recommended to me by Richmond relatives and I understand why!

Something to be said about a shop with the “personal touch.” I have fought with other shops telling me that my 1965 Chrysler’s tires were just “unbalancable”… thank goodness one of the shops recommended Vonderhelr. They were careful and extremely informative. They took the time to figure out what was wrong, and correct it. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Massive screw in tire when I exited off the highway to get gas. Vonderlehr had the best reviews online and I’m so glad they were close by. Excellent customer service. Tire patch repair was done quickly and I was back on the road. Highly recommend!

I went to this location because the reviews were good. But now I am under the impression that the employees are creating the reviews for the company. I went to see about purchasing four new tires and when I got there the employee was on the phone looking at me standing at a locked door in the cold and walking back to my vehicle. All while another employee stands and watch as well. The kicker is no soon as I walk away from the door he gets off the phone, stands Up, walks to the wall, and still watches me walk back to my vehicle to leave. The opening time of this company needs to change to 8:00 am or 8:30 am if they're going to be asinine about potential new customers coming at 7:40 am when the starting operation hours is 7:30 am ( the hours are online and in the door) That isn't how you operate a business.

Very professional and fast. John and the Crew keep this place running like a well oiled machine. Be sure to call ahead, you'll need an appointment as they are always busy. Spicer Automotive recommended this place years ago for my tire Sensors to be replaced, and any other tire issues. I drive here from Midlothian, and wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks Guys!
