This shop has friendly professional employees. If you must have a repair, I recommend them. I'll let you know how my car runs in a later post. Update My car ran all the way home; an hour and 1/2. I didn't have any more problems with my radiator. I had an awful miss which I resolved with new plugs and ignition coils. I ended up at VA Automotive because my car broke down out of town. My car club used this place and I was grateful I was allowed to park free at this shop while I figured out my next move. It took nearly a week for me decide which way to go and the owner and receptionist really put me at ease. I'm glad I chose this place. I'd recommend this shop again and again. Competitive, fair prices but only after I found my own parts. The bathrooms and waiting areas are fresh and clean.

I brought my truck in due to an overheating issue. I had an idea that the thermostat was the issue, so I had them replace it. They fixed my truck quickly and for half the price of a few other mechanics I called.

I discovered Virginia Automotive Services in 2022. Since then, I have had to go there several times because of owning and driving cars that are a decade old. I highly recommend Virginia Automotive Services! Bryan Shelton and Melanie are wonderful at customer service and the mechanics are excellent. I would never take a car out of warranty anywhere else!

Had a persistent fuel line problem. Virginia Automotive was extremely helpful in getting my car back on the road when the local Ford dealership was not. They were kind and responsive, and I won't be going anywhere else.

Had a weird incident with my car that had me worried, so Carmax recommended VA Auto Services since they were the first availability I could do. I did drive a bit to get there (for me 1hr 10 min.) I had to come back for a second trip once an ordered part arrived. These people are truly a blessing to have met! Helped me quickly, and were kind and professional. Very honest folks (also very funny!) I enjoyed meeting, working with, and talking with them. My favorite auto shop to have worked with by far! Can’t thank/recommend them enough!! 10/10 and five stars! God bless them! -Amy :)

Awesome people. We had a diagnostic test & was about to have work done to our vehicle when we realized that our bank account was hacked. The manager allowed us to leave without paying. Today we are going to repay the shop the money we owed. Thank you for your trust and generosity.

This is a 5-star team! I was out of town (1.5 hours away from home) with a foreign car not many people are willing to work on. This team squeezed me in last minute though they were super busy and helped me get my car up and running quickly! The front desk ladies are super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! I will be back there for future services.

Been coming here for safety inspections and their prices still remains the same. I never went anywhere else when I learned about them. Very friendly folks. They genuinely care about their customers; they don’t give a laundry list of things that your car does not even need. Highly recommended.

I scheduled an appointment with Virginia Automotive Service for an annual inspection. I knew I would need a new front passenger parking light and advised the mechanic before the inspection. The shop waited until after the inspection to tell me the price to replace the parking light would be $200 in labor! (Keep in mind they asked if it was possible if I could leave my car and get a ride to work when discussing appointment times. I indicated this would not be possible as I had to work in a secured military base, therefore they knew where I worked and I could not afford to get a rejection sticker since I would not be allowed on the premises.) When I said I'll install the light myself, they replied by asking, " So you want us to put a rejection sticker on it? You are going to have a hard time getting on base. " I, at that point, authorized the labor to be done. They said the reason for the estimate is because they would have to remove the whole bumper to change the light bulb. The labor took a little bit more than an hour. I kept going outside to hit my vape and saw in the bay that they didn't take my bumper off. Upon paying, I asked if he had to take the bumper off, and the clerk replied "Well I think he only removed part of it so he can reach, but not the whole thing." This place of business took advantage of my vulnerability with their predatory prices. No integrity. No ethics. I will definitely not be back and do not recommend bringing your vehicle to this place.

The young ladies at the front, Marly and I didn't get the others name but they treated my elderly grieving mother with so much compassion and respect!!! The mechanic went out of his way to ensure my mama could be safe in her car. Entire establishment is OUTSTANDING!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO HERE!!!

I had my car inspected there recently and had to pay almost 1300 to have subframe bushings and an engine mount fixed. I think it's really crazy that not even 24 hours later my airbag light will not stop blinking. I've tried resetting it and it just comes back on. Will not be going back here again. I feel like they damaged something because in the three years I've owned this car this light has never done this.
