DON'T GO HERE! Husband went yesterday to get a new tire. As he drove to work the following morning (less than 12 hours later) he was on a flat. He SLOWLY drove back home. He put the spare on, drove the truck back to get a remedy and they tell him the rim NOW has a crack in it (was NOT defective YESTERDAY) and they can fix for $120. WTH? Y'all didn't even put the tire on correctly! They didn't even offer to remedy fixing our rim of the damage THEY caused nor did they remedy the flat tire. They blamed it on the "crack" that wasn't there yesterday. We've ridden on the orig tire, on that rim, for a year. The rim (crack or NOT), had nothing to do with the tire going flat. Then they tried to steal my husband's 3 ton jack to add insult to injury.

I blew a tire out on the road and Steve came to my location at fixed my tires quick and he was very nice. I definitely recommend them to anyone who need this service Thank you Rick and Steve God Bless you both. 🙏

First of all I like to say I have had the honor 🎖 & pleasure for over the last 10 years , maybe more to have done business with Viramontes coast tires. They have truly become like family to me.. My last review was truly an understatement of my sincerest gratitude 🙏 towards them as team. They always have looked out for me when it comes to my automotive needs. When I recommend this business to my family and friends the key selling point is " They do not force you to do business with them & open to listen to your side of what you need as a customer. As a woman this is very important..I have watched this business grow and excel past it's expectations. I truly believe in supporting local family own business like this because I come from a family of small businesses owners. Small family own businesses is what runs our our country ( USA) Yes, I can go to Corp run establishment or dealership but I prefer to support our local heroes. Loyalty is everything to me ! I also have a saying " Not all heroes wear capes some wear caps & cowboy boots" Which basically means " There are some professions that aren't as recognized like others however they do serve a greater purpose in community. We need men like the men @ Viramontes Coast tires to continue to support our community with safe & reliable mechanic/ tire svcs so we can be there for the people we love. I wish nothing but the best for you guys! I hope this review reaches the masses. Yes , the city of kirby/ San Antonio give them a try and you will not regret it. 😉 Best Regards Rachel

This is a great shop with fast service & great prices. i drive 20 minutes out of the way to this shop. They even pointed out some repairs I needed (suspension parts) that needed replacement when i went in for a flat repair. I have trusted them to do a few repairs on my vehicles. I highly recommend.

Tried to straighten my bent rim; it was too warped; found a good used one for me and then mounted the tire and balanced it for $60 - very reasonable and better than 3 other places I tried around town. They also sell good, new (“off brand”) tires that are a really good price, too.

Employees are very rude in this tire shop. Last time I took my vehicle, the employee began lecturing me on how it was my fault the tire was flat. He was very condescending and disrespectful. There are several tire shops around the area. Go to them instead of this one just to simply be treated better.

Highly recommend Rick and his team of mechanics. They're reasonably priced, won't overcharge you, can get the repairs and service done to your car quickly and efficiently, and have great customer service. I can't recommend them enough. It's a small shop but has been around for years and is a family owned business. Will definitely be coming back!

I took my car in on Saturday for a loud road noise sound in my Honda Accord. Rick said he would check my car and let me know. He said to keep in mind it could be the wheel bearing or in rare cases a transmission issue. After pulling the wheel & checking the bearing he found the issue to be with the bearing and hub. By Monday my car was fixed and back to a nice quiet drive. The guys at Viramontes are always friendly and helpful and Rick is a standup guy. Won’t take my car anywhere else.

Terrible experience these guys put parts on my van without my authorization then charge me for them. Vehicle still runs like crap after they claim they replaced all my suspension parts in front very expensive no communication at all so hard to trust Mechanics still looking for a new mechanic, I can trust will post when I find one stay away from this place. They’re terrible. Never do business again, it’s a shame how these businesses lose clients over a few dollars

Dropped a Vehicle off to get diagnosed. Everytime I would call about the Vehicle. Rick either had a different vehicle or plainly had no clue what he was talking about. Correct him evertime I call to check if anything was done. Finally says car is ready. I pick it up and says it's good. Drive it down the street and it dies on me at a red light on foster. Push it to midas car place. Call Rick back to let him know. And he tells me to ask Midas to diagnose it. Is that not why I brought you the vehicle to begin with? #WorstService#HorribleExperience

If you need a spot to get your truck lifted, this is the place. Rick went above expectations to ensure my truck got done appropriately. I bought a Rough Country kit and had it installed along with some new 33s. My truck came out amazing. I definitely recommend this shop.

I needed an alignment and was referred by a friend of mine. Spoke to Nick, and he is awesome! My car was finished in the timely manner I was quoted it'd be done. All the other mechanics are nice and helpful. I paid a super reasonable price for my service, plus the alignment was done correctly as well. I would definitely recommend Viramontes!!!

If you are a female, do not go to this mechanic shop for anything. I originally paid $667.00 for a clutch replacement on a Honda Civic. Told it was under warranty. Didn't even put 300 miles on the car and had to take it back and was told that the flywheel was bad. The technician did not do a full inspection and Ricky charged me an additional $200.00 for them to drop the transmission again. I requested additional parts so they wouldn't have to go back in there and blame it on the car for being older, so I had them replace the rear main seal with the flywheel job on the second transmission drop. After I picked my car up I found out that there was an animal running through the back of my car with animal mud prints. I was very upset about this and told Ricky. He did absolutely nothing. Didn't even have the car 100 miles and had a rear main seal leak from the clutch job that was done for the second time. I took it back a 3rd time and they had my car week claiming they dropped the transmission again to fix the leak which was lies. I took my car to the Honda dealership and was told that the rear main was still leaking. Went back for the fourth time and stood my ground and demanded some kind of refund. Ricky agreed to only give me back $500 of my money but I paid for an $900 job. If you are a female I would not go to this shop for tires or any motor work.

The owner tried to rip me off of almost $3000 for the diagnoses to be wrong, most likely not even checked. Untrustworthy people. If you’re a woman, do not take your car here.
