I got quotes from several other mechanics for two to $300 more then what Viking charged me to replace the starter in my car. Harry gave me a direct quote and followed through on his promise. There were no hidden fees, no nonsense. Sometimes as a woman it's difficult to get your car fixed because most mechanics know that you know nothing about car repair. Pep boys give me a quote of almost $600 and tried to assure me that they were doing me a favor by "reducing" the cost to $584. Viking did the job for me for $375. Thank you Viking for being honest! Viking is the only place I will take my car from now on for repairs. There is a reason why they have been in business for so many years.

I had the worst experience with this company, I was thinking there going to charge me for a diagnostic, but they charge me as they fix it , I approve a amount which was ok , but then when I got my bill it was more expensive, I would not recommend this company

The service was great and the customer service was excellent. They let me know the problems that might occur and were likely unfixable, and refrained from charging me money that may or may not fix the lights issue in my old van. Kind and courteous, I would recommend emphatically.

Very friendly and helpful people here. Rebuilt an alternator for 1993 Grand Marquis for me 15 years for the best price. Today I called for another rebuild though they couldn't help me due to the limited supply of parts for my Mazda, I'm still a happy customer, thanks for help! update: December 24'. A $125.00 diag. fee blossomed into a $900 diag fee. They charged me for only one hour though I highly doubt they spend one hour troubleshooting, maybe 30 minutes tops. Eitherway, I was disppointed in the estimate to charge another $900 to continue troubleshooting. Ps. the 1990's called and they want their lobby smells back. Update 12.18.24. Another repair shop was able to diagnosis and repair the vehicle for 1/4 of what this shop wanted to charge just to diagnosis the problem, let alone repair it too. As per the other shop, my problem was a well known problem for my car so for this shop to want to charge sooooo much just to diagnosis the problem was bad business practice.

I brought my truck in for some routine maintenance. The service was prompt and the price was fair. They did not try to upsell me (pet peeve) on items to buy or service that was unnecessary.

My daughter's car needed electrical work after a battery jump gone bad. Harry and company took the car in right away and diagnosed the problem and fixed it knowing that it was her only form of transportation and the family lives out of town. They are kind and highly professional and I'm glad I called them. I would highly recommend them now and future.

My son's car had A/C issues, and I brought it to Viking for them to look at b/c Viking and RPM were both recommended to me. Viking wanted to charge me 1,000 (after having my car for 1 day) just to troubleshoot and said it could cost even more than that. I said no thank you, paid the initial $180 diagnostic fee and left with my car. I then brought my car to RPM on San Jose. RPM had my car fixed within 1 day and only charged me $300. I really think Viking was being straight up dishonest.

Viking auto did exactly what they promised.They even diagnosed the problem and let me bring the car back a week later because of scheduled dr appointments.And then deducted the original diagnosis fee on a job other shops did not want to do. Paul at the front desk took great care of us while nursing a busted up foot. Harry made sure I knew exactly what was going to be done and when to expect my car back.They finished it in record time and I even got to meet their awesome Labrador. Thanks for everything.

Charged me $800 for A/C Fan Door repair that wasn’t repaired an didn’t warranty the work. Went to the dealer to get it fixed correctly. All viking did was recharge the system that blew cold for about 3 days. I tried to give a local business some work. Instead found a shady one. WILL NEVER RETURN! Proof in the pictures below. All I want to do is warn anyone like me trying to help out a local neighbor business. My family paid a price, we were taken advantage of. Worth enough for me to say something here. Viking you’re welcome to return our money, up to you. Id settle for the labor costs. An I did call you about the work done an AC not working correctly.

Had no AC...Was not my whole system & got Quote that next day I dropped off before 4pm when they close! Next day shared invoice clearly, sends the Quote to sign commence service. Ready next am & so cold I'm just using fan off & on. It's been years it's been that cold. Highly trustworthy. My gfs BF just got his done same day I checked in. I had 2 problems going in. One was intermittent and did not present itself while there, although the kept trying. The other problem was resolved successfully. I appreciate their kindness and attention to detail.

I had a electrical problem for a month. Mechanics i used 24 years couldn't find. Went to Viking. Steve found and fixed problem in less than a hour. Very reasonable. Viking will have all my car business from now on. Steve super nice guy. If he can't find problem, he doesn't charge.

I took my car in due to an electrical problem, I received great customer service from Harry, Paul and Steve. The required electrical repair was not in their expertise and recommended I take it to the dealer. I left my car with them over night, no charge for evaluating the vehicle. I felt I was treated courteously, respectfully and fairly thus 5 stars is justified.

Excessive High prices. I was charged for a Radiator Fan and Assembly replacement $2067 I am gonna say it again OVER $2K for a Radiator fan replacement ..IT IS CRIMINAL!!!!. On top I waited 8 days for the car. Viking you guys got me with this job and I honored it since I really needed the car, but you guys LOST a customer for life as well as everyone I know. Abusive prices.

These were the most honest company. I had my vehicle repaired at another shop and it wasn't cooling like I thought it should. I took my car there for recheck and they couldn't find anything wrong. They could have chosen to charge me crazy money for nothing but they didn't. I only had to pay for a diagnostic fee which wasn't overly bad comparing to other places. I would recommend them for sure because I was surprised at their honesty.👍

Great service, great price, very fast response and diagnostic of the issue. Within 24 hrs had the diagnostic with solution, price and expected pickup time. Definitely about 1/3 of the dealer estimate, 100% satisfied with the results.

My Toyota Sienna's air wasn't getting cold very quickly and I knew with summer coming that it was better to address it early on. Knowing that the dealership would screw me, I decided to look for somebody local and went with Viking based on the reviews. It was the right move. They found three different leaks which they were able to repair. The AC has never been this cool. I found out that they also do general auto repairs, and had them give it a look over. They recommended replacing the spark plugs, which made sense, as it had never been done and she has over 125k miles on her. I had been told that by somebody else as well. They did not recommend anything else or try to get me to do unnecessary repairs. I feel with Viking Air, I may get another 125k out of her. Excellent service, fair price, trustworthy, highly recommended.

Super awesome shop. Got me on and out in one day. The Ford Dealership said it would be at least 1-2 weeks and twice the cost. Did great work and did it quickly. I highly recommend Viking. Love these guys.

These guys are honest and do good work and fast. I had an electrical issue on a 06 mercury grand marquis. Could t find the problem for nothing. They fixed the issue in a day and did not try to scam the prices up or nothing.
