Maybe I came a bad day but 2/1/2025 I went for a oil change and they let everybody go before me and I was there a hour smh very unorganized and I’m too pregnant for this shit

I went in for an oil change and they did not fully refill the oil . When I asked them to fill to the proper level it was a big deal. The emplyee argued with me about the oil level and was rude. Will not ever return.

I feel like the brand has been severely degrading over the last few years. This location used to be fantastic, but they no longer offer safety or emissions inspections which means I'll probably stop going here for oil changes. Every 2 years I would get that all done in one stop, now I have to go somewhere else? I'll just go somewhere else for both then. The staff at this location and others also seems like Valvoline has massively reduced your hiring standards. The staff all seems aloof and disorganized, very hectic yet incredibly slow service compared to 5-10 years ago. I sat in the lot with no greeting for 10 minutes, then was directed into a bay without even being asked what I was there for. So I was stuck in the bay when they told me they could not perform inspections and was stuck waiting for the car in front of me to leave, total waste of time that could have been avoided if they just performed their job in the correct order/process. My family has a long history of only going to Valvoline because we believed the service and staff were miles above any other quick stop option, but at this point it just feels like paying $100 for Jiffy Lube service. I think you have lost me as a lifetime customer.

The staff was friendly and I'm sure the oil changes are fast, but I came in for a state inspection and emissions test. I got one done about 4 months ago at this location, and I was told this morning December 26th 2024 that they no longer do them.

Went there today to get oil change and long line but worth the wait even though far from where I live but still worth it, fair and thorough service and extra careful in checking all look right in your car. Will go back for my next oil change, great staff👍👍👍

BEST DARN OIL CHANGE EVER MY CAB FILTER WAS BAD AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT!!!! I COULD OF BEEN BEATING IN CONTAMINATED AIR FOREVER!! THEY FIXED IT!!!

I wish I could leave no stars!!! This place is horrible!! I’ve used Valvoline Instant Oil Change for years at different locations and never had any issues. This one is trash! Over filled my oil and tried to cover it up! My car was new and when I left my car was acting weird on the highway. I got home and my dashboard lit up with all kinds of lights, the car wouldn’t turn over. I called them instantly and they told me to bring the car back. I’m like, How? It won’t start. They claimed, they would send somebody to my house to take a look, of course that didn’t happen. I used my AAA and got the car towed and at least 5-6 ppl frantically tried working on my car, aka tried to cover their negligence. They couldn’t fix it! I was so pissed, I was in tears and the manager told me to file a claim. In the meantime, I had no car. I had to pay $1800 to get my car fixed by the dealer, the mechanic told me, I shouldn’t t have took it back to them and he could tell they rigged up their mistake. Of course, the claim was a joke! I had the car towed twice, once back to Valvoline and from Valvoline to the dealer and both tow truck drivers said they’d had 3/4 tows that day because of Valvoline! My advice is to let the dealer change your oil or a professional, unless, you want your car ruined and your money wasted.

It was the quickest oil change I have ever had. Cortez was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The crew spotted a hole in my coolant reservoir and Cortez was helpful in explaining what I needed to do to fix it. They worked as a team to get everything done quickly. Will be back again

My wife and I have been coming here for years and they are always helpful, friendly and fast. Best Valvoline in St. Louis! Make sure you have cash to tip these guys. They work hard!

The technicians are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! The service was very efficient and all of my questions were answered! I love the convenience and being able to stay in the vehicle, seeing some of what's being done to your vehicle and being able to interact with the automotive technician. Ever since I switched from another competitor, I've been extremely happy with the service!

This was my first time visiting Valvoline Instant Oil located at 3401 S. Kingshighway for an oil change. I had no long wait and the service tech's were extremely helpful and pleasant which made my visit a fantastic experience!

Worst experience I've had at a Valvoline. Was there for over 2 hours on a weekday morning. Went there for an oil change. Did not get a lot of communication. That's fine, but I don't think they did much of what's supposed to be included in their 18-point check, including something as simple as checking my head and tail lights. ALSO they overfilled my tire. By a lot. I don't know if someone tried to fill it twice or what but later I checked and it was reading SEVENTY PSI. Now I know I did not fill up my own damn tire to 70 PSI. They are supposed to be 33. I will never come back to this Valvoline. Maybe any Valvoline. Only go here if you want a blown-out tire.
