I’ve been a few times for various oil changes. The first time they rotated my tires and lost my lug nut / wheel lock key. I only noticed after a few weeks and called and was told they didn’t know where it was. The next two times I was there, there was never a manager and nobody was able to give me any information on who I could contact to replace it or where it could possibly be. I’m now on the side of the highway with a flat tire and no way to change it and I have had to call someone to break the locks off. Kind people, but 0/10 service.

They try to do too many things so they dont do any of them very well. Sometimes great and sometimes incredibly slow, mostly just slow. They could better manage expectations if they identified the services requested by those in line. They could then let other people know to avoid the line with people that will take an hour to complete. They could also hire people who don't take so long for simple tasks. I have rotated tire by hand with 1 jack and 2 jack stands faster than the person in front of us yesterday. Update: they are still slow. They also won't honor my coupon. I won't return.

We have 3 vehicles in our household and all go to the Stone Oak store. We do mostly inspections and oil changes and the service has been consistently excellent with professional and personable technicians.

Went for an oil change. Not only they used the wrong oil type that was requested but after filling it, they figured out they could not change the oil filter because they were not able to remove the filter cap. Said sorry but not sorry and sent me on my way with a job half done, but a full receipt. Don't go to this rushed service, go to a garage or to another shop.

Too much chattering going on here. Instead of just getting the job done they were goofing around too much. I was in a vehicle with a 2 year old and 1 year old ,it was very hot & of course we had to turn off the vehicle but with the wait time, the babies were sweating so much and very uncomfortable. Service was finally done we were driving off and our dashboard was giving us the hood was still Open signal meaning she did not properly close our hood. Another thing, the female with blonde hair didn’t even screw a piece back on as the service was “ completed” something told us to stop and check underneath the hood to make sure everything looked good before driving off. After informing the manager about the situation, another female that was right there heard and shook her head and laughed. A disappointment.

DO NOT GO HERE. First time at a Valvoline and easily going to be my last. We usually do our own oil changes, but since we’re not close to home nor have the tools ourselves, we decided to bring our Tacoma in for a quick oil change. I am writing this as we are in the bay because we have been here for over an hour. The guy putting the skid plate back on appeared to over torque and break the threads and we’ve sat here with no communication of what was being done to our truck. It was only when we called someone over for them to explain that they were having issues. Finally when they got it on they said they secured it with ZIP TIES. You don’t handle my truck with care and your solution is to zip tie it rather than replace the part that got broken. It is now more money out of my pocket because they told us they “don’t have the part” to replace it. They told us to go buy a new part and they’ll put it in “next time” but we have no intention on coming back. Would have rather went out and bought everything I needed to do it myself. So extremely disappointed. UPDATE: went to the Toyota dealership immediately after to get a new bolt to replace the one they broke. We were informed that there is no such thing as a “fastener” that Valvoline said was broken. It is instead welded to the frame. So we confirmed that Valvoline lied and did in fact strip the thread when they were putting the bolt back on.

I have never had a longer wait for a simple service. The car ahead of me did not move for at least 40 minutes until I had to go. I would have appreciated the courtesy of not having to ask what the hold up is myself.

Terrible Experience.. super slow and very bad customer service. Will not be going back here. Don't show up unless you have 3 hours to spare ... The manager on duty is the worse.. also.. no communication within the team.. skipped me several times on my motorcycle cause they forgot about me..
