TL;DR: Excellent and rapid service. Highly recommended! We got snow on a day I wasn’t expecting it, and I had a tire with a very low pressure, and I didn’t want to drive any further than I had to under those conditions. The hubcap on the low tire was blocking the air nozzle. I drove up looking for assistance, and within three minutes, at least two people were working on my car. They checked all of my tires for air, topped up the ones that were low, adjusted the hubcaps that were covering nozzles, and showed me how to remove hubcaps myself in case a similar situation were ever to occur again later. I was in and out within 15 minutes, and they did not charge me. I have previously taken my vehicle to a competitor for oil changes. Going forward, I will be getting my oil changes from Valvoline at this location. I could not be more pleased with this experience.

I pulled in to this location at 7:30 am and was greeted with a smile and was told to just pull in! They were fast, friendly, and paid attention to detail. I noticed the other attendants being just as courteous and professional with other customers. I have found my new spot! Thanks Toni! You made my morning! 🙏

Great staff. I was shown how gross my cabin air filter was. I didn't even know where that filter was located! It clearly had not been replaced in the last decade, so I was enthused to buy the replacement. Everyone (and I mean everyone) had a great attitude, even though several cars arrived an hour before closing and it was freezing cold outside. They took care to ask me for permission before reaching into my car and kept me informed about what was going on and why during the service. It was a chaotic day for me so the young employee reminding me to use my coupon was appreciated!

Had such a great experience today. It was a super busy Saturday and once I was up, the manager Henry really apologized for the delay and was very patient and kind. He didn’t rush me or his explanations even though I’m sure the long line was stressful! He was encouraging his employees and overall keeping a positive energy. Definitely recommend coming here!

I cannot thank the team at Forest Hill Avenue enough. On the night before Christmas Eve, with a line of customers waiting right before closing, they went above and beyond to help me with a flat tire. Xavier and team are true professionals. They showed me kindness, patience and willingness at one of the busiest times of the holiday season. You’ve earned a customer for life!

I mean, my oil always gets changed, but it takes way longer than 15 minutes. I think the longest time I waited at this Valvoline in particular once was a hour and 30 minutes & once you get in line and then you have a car behind you you can’t really exactly back up and get out of there

My husband and I are here in Virginia and he noticed his transmission acting funny!! Well thank God we found this place because they surely did take care of us and my husband was pleased and so grateful for the work they did on his truck!! We want to especially mention Henry and Jo who took care of us from the start to ending these guys surely deserve recognition they are great at what they do and surely give great customer experience we would recommend me them for any of your car service needs!!! I wish I could give 10 stars!

The employees here are kind, genuine, honest, and go above and beyond for their customers. I had a battery replaced here last weekend, and Henry, the manager, recommended I also replace some of the wiring and connector parts, although they did not currently have them in-stock. He said he would order them. Today, five days later, I tried to start my car in the driveway and got no response from the battery. I called Valvoline to see what they could do, if anything. Henry drove to my house himself and stayed until 6 p.m. re-wiring and re-working and replacing those connector parts - for free. I offered to pay, but he refused. I have almost never experienced customer service like this in the auto industry. Huge shoutout to Henry and the crew at this location.

Dasheem, Arthur, and Michael made this experience fun and enjoyable. They were friendly yet efficient and professional. They kept me aware of what was going on, and offered additional suggestions on what my car needed without being pushy. I’ll get those services next time I’m in.

I waited 45 minutes before I pulled away. I didn’t even make it in the car port. I could’ve done 3 oil changes myself in that time frame. You can’t advertise fast and be super slow. I saw your worker take his lunch, get his food and eat it. My car didn’t move lol but I later went to a different location and they got me right so I will be adding two extra stars. For a total of 3 out of 5.

Technicians were wearing oil soaked gloves so every time they touched my car they left large oily handprints on the hood and fenders.

The technicians took their time making sure I found the best deal on an engine air filter as they were out of stock and installed it with no additional fee to my visit. As a college student this goes a long way. I'll be returning for quick service and helpful staff.

Wasted 30 minutes sitting in line to just have to leave without work done because they used all three lanes for more than oil changes, why not leave atleast one for ONLY oil changes, that would make more sense.

tldr: JOSHUA forgot to put my skid plate on and had me wait in line for 30 additional minutes to fix it. Won’t be back. Mistakes happen, that I can understand. How you react to those mistakes tells me the most about an employee. Joshua lost two customers for this location today. After spending 30 minutes in line and in the bay, Joshua haphazardly closed my hood (not all the way) and motioned me to pull thru. I stopped after getting out after being alerted my hood wasn’t closed - good thing I did because that hadn’t put my skid plate back on. Josh came running after us and told us to pull back around and they’d get it fixed. But rather than pulling us back in a bay, he had us waiting in the back of the line. He gave us attitude and basically dismissed us and walked inside. He gave us a nod and said “yall good?” after about 10 minutes of waiting and didn’t wait for an actual response from us. For 30 minutes, we waited again, so that they could fix their mistake. Arthur and Aliyah were amazing, but Josh needs a new job that doesn’t require customer service.

I tried to use a coupon on an oil change and they told me my Fiat needed special (ie: expensive) European oil that would not qualify for the coupon. The man who was responsible for coordinating my oil change at this Valvoline also said several off-putting things to me and then, while I was stuck in my car getting my tires rotated and couldn't go anywhere, asked me if I would like to go on a date with him. This was extremely off putting as I had just given him all of my information, including where I lived, as needed for the service. After I drove away I tried to call the front desk to report him to another supervisor. They handed the phone directly to this man even after I asked them not to hand the phone to him. Terrible experience and I will never go again. Please tell your staff to never hit on a customer, especially a woman who physically can't leave the situation. Since then, I have had incredible experiences with All Good Automotive II on Semmes and learned that my car does not in fact need special oil.... and it is half of the cost, without a coupon! :-)

I visited Valvoline on a Sunday afternoon, expecting only 1 or 2 bays to be open. They had all 3 bays open, and plenty of workers around assisting. When they say 15 minutes, they mean it.
