The new manager Jose and the gal who took care of me deserve recognition. They handled my issue professionally. In addition - I had the unfortunate experience of having to listen to a disgruntled customer. Jose was more than accommodating to the customer, offering solutions (which in my mind were well expired given her attitude). Nonetheless, he remained professional.

They are no nonsense, fascinating to watch the workers they are very disciplined almost like military and seem to genuinely be into their jobs and are thorough in the work they peform - for the question below I was not Pressured but she did explain and ask if I was interested - the perfect level of what else they can offer but no pressure. If they did pressure me to purchase extra service I probably wouldn't return to be honest.

Being proactive. I went to go have an oil change, I believe they drained the oil but were not able to do the oil change. I ended up having to pay for oil to be put back in my car because I cant leave with it being empty. Long story short, I had to pay for a mistake they did on their end.

Sure they like to sing and they’re very friendly, but I had one of my oil plug cross threaded(brand new crate motor, first oil change) and overcharged a couple of times. On a different car(white) they had oil and grime smudged all over the front two fenders, which to this day still hasn’t come off. Clowns.

I came the last 10 minutes before they closed on a Sunday. They took me for an oil change immediately, and they were done within 15 minutes. I didn’t even have to get out of the car. And it was not terribly overpriced either. Plus, the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back.

Just left because they said I couldn’t use the Groupon I got for an oil change,.. which was a lie! I went down to the one in Northridge I accept it with no problem. The one in reseda was trying to make me pay $104. Very nonchalant. About it 🙃

Lately they made a lot of mistakes, both my daughters took their car they put thw wrong coolen fluid and they didnt close the tap for the tire,nexr day no air on the tire

These guys were honest with me about my car, topped me off in fluids where I needed them, were quick, and when they realized previous mechanic had stolen a part from my oil canister, I bought the part and they replaced it for me, all done quickly and professionally, highly reccomend

Sharing my recent experience with Valvoline: I've used valvoline to change oil in multiple cars over the years, in multiple states. On Thursday, august 22nd I went in for typical service. Apparently, there were rat droppings in the area around my air filter. When the technician opened it up to check the air filter and then replace it, debris fell in. In driving away, literally a few hundred feet down the road my car threw up a major code. For those of you familiar with a prius, it's called the red triangle of death. I pulled over. The assistant manager came out to my car 45 minutes later and checked it with me. He couldn't get it to shift into drive, reverse, or anything. Towed it to a AAA mechanic, where the next day they diagnosed it as the airflow sensor. Replacing it fixed it, and left me with a hefty bill for parts and labor. My battery also died due to this, so that was replaced as well. Valvoline refuses to cover any part of the bill or at the very least refund the $140 I spent that day for their services, even though the mechanic says a trained technician should be responsible for cleaning that area up when they notice debris, and this type of error wouldn't be typical if taking it to a shop with actual mechanics. So here I am, out over $1000 because I decided to get an oil change at valvoline. Customer service and employees were pleasant people and nice to deal with, but unfortunately the final decision makes 0 sense to me. Sure, the rat feces and leaves that were present in the car isn't their responsibility, but opening up sensitive areas of the car and then not being responsible for the damage that is caused when they do that, is absurd. My advice is it's better to just take it to a mechanic so minor errors like this don't end up causing you $1000.

I couldn't believe how friendly, competent and, repectful service at the Reseda Valvoline Instant Oil Change station was. Crew was happy to answer my many questions. I stayed in the car throughout the entire service. They explained everything they did in detail. I never felt pressured to follow their recommendations but knew that they were on point. They seemed to genuinely like each other and it showed in the service they provided. The Manager, Michael, was right there under the hood with his crew but was never imposing. Rather, he was encouraging. I was blown away when I saw that the crew included females. As a woman who has dreaded dealing with macho attitudes and felt invisible until time to pay at numerous shops, garages and dealerships I am happy to say you got it right Valvoline! Thank you Reseda team. I will refer everyone I know. Keep up the good work. It will pay off if it hasn't already.

Imar is amazing! He’s really friendly and helpful. They did a great job and though I needed some things done at my mechanic, Imar helped me list those things and explained them to me. It can be hit or miss at these places. Sooo lucky I got this team!

Man I was their customer since 2016 I always do oil change all was good but last time I got oil change they asked me to do transmission fluid I accepted deals I don’t what they did under my car because I can’t see it it is laking now I took back after I drove 3 days when I got to shop they wait for so much time and end they said oh it is not leaking from where we teach So before it was perfect They act really bad I don’t discuss with them I have to take to shop So please don’t go if you don’t have others choice One time they did my tires rotate it make my car really bad I will not go any more or they fixed my 🚗

Very good service and the guys are very friendly. Unfortunately they did not tighten the oil filter properly and days later I woke up with a puddle of oil under my pickup and all over my drive way. I hope to receive a good discount next time.
