As always, a great experience. I recently went to a new branch, this one in portland, and the experience was consistent with what I've come to expect from a valvoline. Friendly and knowledgeable employees who are great communicators. They always check everything, even things I don't ask for, and let me know where things are at. They don't pressure me to buy anything, but let me know next time my filter will likely need replacing finally. I appreciate feeling informed but empowered to make my own decisions. They're always very nice, and timely.

Updated from a positive review from some months ago. My wife took her highlander there yesterday. Then drove 25 miles to her grand mother. At speep was awful rattling and noise. It was found that the skid Plat was not bolted on properly and badly damaged. No oil was put into the car at valvoline and the car itself wasn't drained properly which saved it. The drain plug was reinstalled way too tightly. Had to use old waste oil to get home. I'm bringing the car there today to see if they can make it right. They will lose two customers very easily today.

Always the nicest people, even when there is a long line they make sure to always be super friendly. They make sure communication is clear and effective! They are very thorough and make sure to check everything. Jim is usually there when I go, excellent customer service.

I went to Valvoline for a mandatory DEQ inspection to renew my registration. The staff was very friendly and professional. They offered complementary fluid checks as well as tire pressure. I appreciate that The entire service took less than 20 minutes.

Service With A Smile! We came here to make sure our car was road worthy for our trip to California. Assistant manager Jim greeted us with a smile. He got us in and out with no hassles, made sure he ticked all the right boxes by asking questions, listened to our concerns and was super efficient, upbeat and cordial. It felt super good to be in his care. Would visit this service station again with no hesitation.

Valvoline charged me $55 for a cabin air filter that I can find online for $12. This is ridiculous. I have been going to Valvoline for years and will now find another business to provide this service.

I was pretty impressed during my visit. The staff were very friendly and clearly experienced. They did a nice job and did it quickly. The price was fair and competitive with other quick change chains.

overall it was a great experience. the only reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because the assistant manager who was helping me being being rude and condescending to other members of the staff which i don't find acceptable.

Went at the perfect time and drove right in no wait. Got my DEQ test and an oil change in under 30 minutes. Saved me the hassle of having to be without my car like I normally would be had my mechanic done the oil instead. The manager was on point and every step of the way they verified the work done and the price of things. Will definitely do again!
