No checks and balances, and strong manning arguments is how Valvoline stays unscathed in customer claims. I visited this location to get a routine oil change, they did so and topped off my fluids. When i returned home i noticed a leak, i mistakenly assumed it was oil and called them to report that it was leaking. They told me to come back in, and after examining my car told me my coolant reservoir was cracked and recommended Brake Masters (a very helpful and professional establishment). During this time I also opened a claim through Valvoline. I took my car to Brake Masters and they said that Valvoline had overfilled my coolant reservoir (which can lead to things like overheating). They believed they had fixed the problem. The next day, after driving for maybe 5 minutes my car began to steam again and overheat. Brake Masters suggested a new coolant reservoir cap and after inspecting found that my thermostat had (according to Valvoline) “spontaneously” broken. After The manager of this location, Jacob, and the techs at Brake Masters spoke on the phone, Jacob denied my claim. He stated that they had never topped off my coolant and even if they had it would not have had any effects like this. He instead assumed that I had not been keeping up on routine maintenance and blamed the brand new overheating issue on mere coincidence. This is also where I learned that the checks and balances of this establishment are extremely skewed. The person in charge of the location that would be deemed at fault is the same person that gets to decide whether or not they are at fault. Do better.

Friendly staff. Assistant manager was great. Staff very knowledgeable and made sure the service and everything they checked was done properly. This valvoline service center has highly qualified people that know what they are doing.

I was pleased to get the attention I was used to. They checked my lights and my brake lights the turning signals walk me through step-by-step. Everything that was going on.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Went to get an oil change at 5:30 a lady with a hand full of hot Cheetos approached us saying “they’re closed for a group break for 30 minutes, come back later.” They close at 7… Meanwhile her coworker was telling us to pull in with nonverbal signals. She approached him, then he looked surprised and confused as to why I’m sure she was shooing us away. Very unprofessional, they literally close in 1 hour & 30 minutes.. “group break” doesn’t make any sense.

Went there today for an oil change and they would not do it because I had a coolant leak that has nothing to do with oil the guy had an attitude about the way I was pulling in I will never go back

Never told me ahead of time that the cabin filter was $55 after they installed it. You can get the same exact filter on line for $9

This location was great! The staff was friendly and fast and unlike most all other Valvoline locations they actually put all the screws back on my undercarriage which was amazing!

The gentlemen, Jacob, Alexander, and Kalib, who took care of me were very thorough. I did not feel that I was being taken advantage of. I especially appreciated that they were mindful of the order of arrival for each patron.
