Went in for a full synthetic oil change, a new cabin air filter, and new windshield wipers and it was super quick! Service was friendly as well. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Jacob was great!

I called prior to coming and was quoted 99 for an oil change. I gave the person on the phone the make and model of my vehicle. I also had a coupon for 25 off. When i got there they told me 130 for my car. I told them the quoted price and the guy said when you call you get a customer service number. Every franchise is different. If that is the, case then why have that number listed to call. I will not come here again.

"Awful Experience at Valvoline - Rainbow Location" I want to share my recent frustrating experience at the Rainbow location to help potential customers make informed decisions. I initially went to the Blue Diamond location for an oil change, but shortly after, I discovered an oil leak. Since the Rainbow location was closer, I took my car there. The manager, DeShawn, informed me the issue was with the oil drain plug and recommended replacing it along with the oil. Even though my oil had just been changed, I agreed. Unfortunately, the leak continued because they failed to use the correct torque to install the plug. After returning again, the new manager, Matthew, stated that the torque was fine but the plug was inserted unevenly, causing further leaks. Despite their adjustments, the issue persisted, and they then claimed the problem was with the oil pan gasket. I requested a refund for the unnecessary oil changes caused by their misdiagnoses, but the GM, George, refused, stating they hadn’t caused the gasket issue. I explained that I needed the refund to fix the gasket elsewhere, but they still declined. The staff, including the GM, were unprofessional and dismissive throughout this ordeal. After four visits for a simple issue, I’m left with wasted time, money, and a car that still leaks. I’ll be escalating this matter to the BBB and Consumer Affairs. Do not use this location. 2nd review ....... I had an awful experience with this store, which is both unethical and unprofessional. They failed to perform a basic task—properly inserting an oil drain plug. During my first visit, two different managers admitted the plug was improperly handled: one claimed it was incorrectly torqued, and the other said it was unevenly inserted. However, on my third visit, they refused to take responsibility for the issue they caused. Instead, they falsely claimed the problem was due to a gasket issue, not the plug. I didn’t believe them and took my car to another mechanic for an accurate diagnosis. Unsurprisingly, the issue was with the plug, not the gasket. Valvoline’s mishandling not only damaged the plug but also the oil pan. I reported the situation to them, but they denied any accountability and refused to refund the cost of the oil change, the plug, or the oil pan replacement. Their negligence has caused me significant inconvenience—I missed nine hours of work, spent $250 on initial repairs, and now face an additional $290 for oil pan replacement. What steps should I take to resolve this? They are ignoring my requests, and I need your advice.

Get your oil changes here at your own risk. I brought my new car here for an oil change the technician forgot to tighten the oil filter and I bled out 2 1/2 quarts on my way home. I requested a refund and for them to take my engine to get diagnosed. They declined and gave me a free Oil change coupon. This is the second time I brought a vehicle here for something as easy as an oil change and yet again they've shown incompetence Last time on my Kia Optima, They forgot to close the air box so I had a check engine light go off. Never again while I bring my vehicles to a Valvoline.

I always go to valvoline to get my oil changed but this location is by far my favorite. Always fast and friendly and little to no wait. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jacob. Castillo and Dillon were awesome in servicing and changing of my oil and making sure everything was good to go prior to leaving. Definitely recommend and definetly will be back

I regretfully decided to try Valvoline for an oil change instead of going to my usual dealership, and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. What should have been a routine service turned into a nightmare. (This is a 2021 Subaru) After leaving the shop, I drove home, only to discover that my car was smoking when I pulled into my garage. The smoke was so thick that it filled the entire space, and I was alarmed and completely baffled. On top of that, I noticed that the cooling liquid was below the low-level mark. This was absolutely shocking because the inspection report I received from Valvoline had marked it as "OK." How could such an oversight happen during what is supposed to be a professional service? Now, my car smokes every time I start it, rendering it unusable. I can’t even leave my house without worrying about damaging my vehicle further or causing a safety hazard. I had to open a claim with Valvoline, and I’m currently stuck waiting for someone to get back to me. The lack of urgency in addressing the issue is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. The carelessness demonstrated during the oil change is completely unacceptable. It’s clear that there was either a lack of attention to detail or a disregard for the condition of my vehicle. Either way, this experience has left me without a functional car and a serious amount of stress. The oil change was so messy these were oil drips all over the engine, that i had to clean MYSELF. To make matters worse, I’ve always trusted my dealership to handle my oil changes, and I only went to Valvoline because it was more convenient. I now see that was a huge mistake, and I’ll never trust them with my vehicle again. The entire experience feels like a breach of trust and competency. I’m appalled by the poor service, the apparent negligence, and the subsequent hassle of having to open a claim and wait indefinitely for a resolution. If you care about your car and your peace of mind, steer clear of Valvoline. I certainly won’t be returning, and I would strongly advise others to avoid making the same mistake I did. Please review the pictures of the oil dipstick ABOVE THE MAX LINE!

I found my experience with the oil change to be very efficient and quick, and the person helping me was very thorough and telling me what he suggested I do for my vehicle at the mileage. It was at and I found that experience, very informative and pleasant.

My Groupon was not taken off when the Groupon was presented after being asked. He scanned the voucher code, but it only took $27 off. After questioning the guy about why it was so high after I already purchased the full oil change on Groupon, he said it only took $27 off. I knew something was still off so when I drove off I called & spoke to a manager Jake or Jacob. He admitted that it was their mistake because the attendant did not properly do the correct process of getting the full voucher code. He offered to have the next oil change on them free. I told him I wanted a full refund back onto my card as I was not expecting to pay double the price. He placed me on hold came back on the line & said the best they can do is for me to come back, they’ll recharge the correct price & as far as the refund they’ll have to reach out to another department, see how much to refund & it would take a couple weeks to then mail out a check. All this seemed sketchy and inconsiderate. I told him I would call Groupon to let them know about the situation, he proceeded to say others have done that & got their money back. So it made me think they did this mistake on purpose & are trying to get more money out of people by pretending to scan the Groupon voucher.

The technician forgot to check my tires after a tire rotation. I had low air in my tires after I left and had to stop at tire shop in the middle of the night. This cost time, money, and just was pure inconvenience.

Great experience. I usually go to the dealership for my oil changes but I desperately needed one before a road trip and they were closed Sunday, so I tried Valvoline. The guys were super nice, didn’t try and upsell me other services, but did let me know about a few recommendations, and were super fast. I was in and out in 20 minutes! Will definitely be back.

When I pulled up, I saw that the entire staff was busily cleaning the bays with power washers and by hand. When I asked, the tech said that an inspection was coming soon and they wanted to be #1 and that was so impressive! Loved seeing workplace pride!

I usually go to jiffy lube but they didn’t have the oil my truck uses in stock. I decided to go to this place because it was close. The people working were friendly enough but as soon as they “finished” with the oil change they came at me with the “checklist” of things that needed ”attention”. My truck is new with about 21,000 miles on it, NO I don’t need my rear differential fluid changed…. NO I don’t need any transmission fluid flushing etc. all I wanted was an oil change. This place is so out of touch with current events. It felt very 1980’s grimy auto repair shop if that makes sense. We ant an oil change not a “checklist” of BS unnecessary up charges and upsells. It’s pathetic and cheap trick sales tactics deployed by a goofy guy that had no conviction in what he was doing. And besides that, 5 different people touched my truck. I was sitting in it, watching all of these different people perform different tasks. ITS A FREAKIN OIL CHANGE…… I paid over $140 to get the oil changed and had to sit there and listen to this guy ramble on about all of the “recommendations” my new truck needed. What’s worse is I have greasy hand prints on the hood, fender, and grill of the truck. Overall this outdated high pressure up-sale, overpriced, “oil change” facility is a terrible place to go and their tactics are trash. We don’t need businesses like this in our community ripping people off.

Never been to a drive up oil change lol. But service was great! The gentleman that took care of me was so polite and aware! What stood out the most is that he took the time out to show me that my oil level was full and up to the line! Which means a lot these days with crooked people almost everywhere. Little busy but worth the wait!

Highly recommend, easy quuck and definately woth the money. To be able to get oil, trans and radiator done without having to wait 1/2 to all day is amazing.
