10 STARS!!! MANAGERS HAKEEM & BRANDON; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I can't rave enough about the staff at the Kirby location. I called ahead an explained my situation with Ms. Danielle A. who was incredibly kind, understanding and professional all at the same time. I shared, I literally had gone to several Take 5 locations in Houston & Austin within the week and None would change the oil on a foreign car. I was even told by a Take 5 manager, "it was just too much work, SMH!" However, when I spoke with Ms. Danielle A. She assured me Valvoline had the filter & oil needed to do the job. She even confirmed with the Mangers Hakeem & Brandon (Kirby location,) they'd be willing to help me. Not only were these guys incredible, knowledgeable, quick, personable, funny, kind and professional, they were waiting on me to get there. It didn't take them 15 mins to do the job. I've found my new reliable service center. Thank you Valvoline!

The gentleman was friendly, letting me know every step of the way, where they were in the process, and the team was efficient. There were a lot of people getting oil changes, but it went faster than I expected.

I came in on 1/23/25 for oil change and front and rear diff service. Had wiper blades and filters replaced also. On 1/26/25 my car would not start. (Battery had been checked and was OK.) I called Valvoline and Hakeem came to my house and jumped my car. I then drove to Valvoline and they quickly replaced my battery. They replaced wiper blades free of charge because one wasn't working properly. Absolutely outstanding customer service! Team works so well together. Brandon and Hakeem were fabulous!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Coming from the service industry, I can appreciate exceptional service. My experience with Mike and Cole, with Pablo’s assistance was exceptional! My car had a major fluid leak days before the last freeze. I was a bit panicked when I arrived, but Mike’s warmth and reassurance immediately made me feel better. Mike and Cole inspected my engine, quickly found the source, topped off my fluids and then took the time to explain what they saw. They were knowledgeable and generous with their time and answered all of my questions. Both their service AND the their interpersonal skills were spot on. Cole re-capped what they found & what they did in simplistic terms for me. The relief and peace of mind I felt was an understatement. Mike and Cole…you are absolute rockstars!! In Houston, TX the location on Katy is absolutely amazing! Cole and J.T went above and beyond! They were honest in something that made me not make a specific purchase. I overheard them talking and they said they said honesty is always best and in hopes they have return customers. So yes this will be my new home for oil changes!

Worst experience ever. They put the wrong oil filter on my car which messed up my car and then they won’t compensate me for the money I had to use to get my car towed and the maintenance fee because they need proof. However the people who fixed my car and the people who towed said all I needed to do was show the paper work that states that the people who put the wrong oil filter in my car so that I could be compensated. Completely unfair.

No appointment was necessary just like their ad stated. They got me in right away, I explained what I needed done. They got right on it and explained what they were doing. Out and on my way. Great customer service and car service. I am vey impressed and will be back again.

I am completely disappointed with my last visit to Valvoline, I have been a customer for years and it always seemed like a high quality service until today, where the service was terrible and conditioned by wanting to sell me a filter that I did not want to buy from there everything was terrible, my car was filled with oil (I have photos to prove it) my air pressure was not checked or the fluids filled as they have always done, I was not given the sticker for my next visit, in addition I had to take my car to be washed because of all the oil that was left in front of my vehicle, in addition I will have to do an oil change again, because I do not trust the service they did, very unprofessional, now I have to spend more money to wash my car and do the oil change again because I feel safe with the work they did.

I USED to go only here (Kirby location) for oil changes. They were good people, fast service. In the last 2 years however I’ve had some pretty strange happenings there. Some idiot actually forgot to reinsert my oil dipstick. Like I said, they were the ones to do my oil, so no one else would have touched it. Months later, on my next visit, they discovered it was missing, and then figured out by their own records it was apparently a bad employee whom they’d already fired, or he quit, whichever. So the manager Brandon ordered me another dipstick, and it took another 2+ months to get it in. I had to call for an update at least 5 times. Finally it was replaced. This time, a week ago, they changed my oil as usual, and then today I turn on my windshield wiper sprayer only for it to do nothing. So I got home, opened the hood, and find both wiper sprayer nozzles have been SNAPPED OFF at their connections, and the tubes were spraying onto the motor. Where they are attached to the hood, you would have to make a real effort to reach and pull them off. WHY the heck anyone would do this I have no freaking idea, Maybe someone there thinks I would go back to have them reattach it for a fee?? Not a chance in h*ll I’m ever rolling back in there. Thanks for all the years of good service, and then screwing me up. Hire better employees.

Shout out to Mike and his crew for the hard work and good attitude. I went in for an oil change and Mike was informative about the services my vehicle needed aside from just the oil change. He was respectful when I declined any other services and did not ask again. Much different than most "Instant Oil Changes". Everyone there was friendly and seemed like they wanted to be there. I don't normally leave reviews, but the service was excellent so I felt the need to shout out the guys working over there.

Staff was super pleasant, upbeat. The team seemed like they work really well together. As a woman, any type of car work can feel like someone is trying to get more money out of you just because. It is often a bit uncomfortable.. Super comfortable here. I will definitely come back for the next service. Location right by Carwash also a huge plus. Keep up the good work!

When I was there for vehicle inspection,they enforced me to change wind shield wiper beçause only half inche loos of it. They charged me and in the next day I realized that the product doesn't work and clean the windshield properly. I went to them and they changed it but it was the same, so I use my rejected one again. They buy cheap materials and sell it high as they can, because they are registered inspectors and can enforce us as they can.
