Waited 20 minutes in line and then they tell me the inspection guys license expired so he can't do it. Put up a sign or something maybe and not waste people's time?

I've been going to Valvoline for a lot of vehicle maintenance on two cars for about 6-7 years now. I've had the fuel line flush/clean out (it helped an older sputtering car that we bought used) and also had a battery replaced, along with routine oil changes of course. I also do my inspections here. Every time, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and never pushy about sales. For example, along with needing a new battery recently I decided to go ahead and get the oil changed while I was at it. But the service tech said it wasn't quite time yet and I was good for another 1000 miles or so. They could have easily just changed it for a buck. Since I've been going here, they make suggestions only on preventative work but are never adamant that I get anything done. I never have doubts that I will get great service and quality work.

Came when it was a bit understaffed, but they communicated well, and the wait was not very long. Tom thoroughly explained everything and I felt informed about the process. Oil changed, tires aired-up free of charge. I will be returning to this Valvoline in the future.

If I could give negative zero stars I would. Went there for an oil change and they couldn’t remove the oil filter and then they couldn’t put the oil plug back in. Now I have to go to my dealer to address this problem. I will be contacting the CEO and my attorney. DON’T Go here. Consider yourself warned.

This is my go to shop for an oil change! So patient & knowledgeable. I’m never made to feel like I am a burden for not knowing anything about my vehicle. Great for Fleet vehicles as well. Post oil change they topped off my tires gladly. Thanks to Martez & Amaria today. They were fantastic!

What a great experience. I came into get my oil changed and had a friendly guy walk up to ask what I needed , got in the bay within 2 minutes of being here to be only even more delighted to see 2 wonderful women working on my car. A great team this place has and I’ll definitely be back! Friendly guys and super cool women that both work on the cars ?! 10/10

''Disappointing Experience'' On 10/28/2024 Late night shift, I scheduled a prepaid oil change service for my car. Unfortunately, after a long time waiting it wasn’t completed because I was told that we didn’t have the oil filter for my car model. WoW 😮 They advised me to go to other shops, as they might have it. However, I had already paid for this service that night, but I didn’t receive it. I’m really disappointed with this experience. I came in expecting a standard service, but Not only was it not completed, but I was also charged for a service that had not been completed. It’s frustrating to be told to go elsewhere after already paying for a service I didn’t receive. 🫨 I encountered poor communication throughout the process. I had hoped for a more reliable and professional experience, but sadly, that wasn’t the case. 'Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location at all.'

Buyer Beware!! I used this location for an oil change and they cross threaded one of the plugs and now I have to have the oil pan assembly replaced. So now an oil change is costing me almost $1000.

They said they can’t change oil because they don’t have oil filter and they can’t change oil without changing oil filter. That’s weird… I thought… you unscrew the oil plug drain the oil then screw the oil plug back in add oil and you’re done…. The oil filter (I thought) is an option and only needs to be changed after every other oil change… and the guy that said this to me it was like he didn’t care to have my business at all…

Valvoline Main Street @ Alpha in Frisco. Tech's screwed me with the DMV, now I'm on the clock. Over a break light bulb filament out. I had the new one in my truck, and we discussed it before starting the inspection that I was to replace. Either now or later, and I had my tools with me. ??? Didn't say a word!! Other than we all agreed it was less than 5 minute fix, and super easy... The dirt bags failed me! But only after they took my $140. WTF!! Told me to come back. "20 YEARS A CUSTOMER WITH THREE VEHICLES AT THIS LOCATION". No body has touched my gear but these guys. No more! Oh, they wouldn't take my emailed coupon. Said my service ticket had already started. BS. Times have changed in Frisco and so has this service business. Nobody has any common since..

I recently visited Valvoline for an oil change, and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Eric. Not only did he perform the oil change efficiently, but he also went above and beyond by detecting an issue that had been overlooked by a previous service at my local Honda dealership. The dealership had apparently made an error during my last oil change, and I’m grateful that Eric caught it before it turned into a bigger problem. His attention to detail and thoroughness were impressive. I highly recommend Eric and the team at Valvoline for their exceptional service. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be returning for my future maintenance needs.

This place is awesome , the service that the young lady gave me was beyond amazing along with the young man named Jaden, and very polite. Kept me informed of the process that was being done and help reset my oil light and I wasn't there for a long period of time. Love this location!!
