I’ve been a mechanic for over 10 years and grew up working on cars. Terrible service and won’t own up to their mistakes. They didn’t connect the air filter housing back to the engine and lied about it. Said the battery was bad when it had slight corrosion and read 12.6v. When I talked to customer support they wanted me to bring the car back in again and just argued with me . I would take your car anywhere other than this place.

My car did not sound the SAME AFTER MY OIL AND AIR FILTER WAS CHANGED!!! WENT BACK THEY LOOKED AT IT AND SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND IT CLEARLY ISNT!! I have a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder when driven couldn't even tell it was on.... NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE AN OLD BEATER CAR USED IN THE DERBY!!!!

I do not appreciate dishonesty. I was reasonably satisfied until I saw the notes on my invoice. CE ( check emgine light on upon arrival) - yes; OL (oil level low upon arrival) - I guess it could be; SO (poor oil condition "sludgy" oil prior to service) - absolutely not. My oil is not sludgy in the least, and the CSR didn't even look at my oil. Furthermore, there is no way for the topside tech to know that my transmission level is good without checking the fluid temperature and reference chart, yet he told me my transmission level was good after looking at a generic service stick and not checking the temperature of the fluid or checking what level the fluid should be at for the temperature. To top it all off, these are supposed to be the managers of this location! Are you guys serious right now?!? I appreciate that you showed me that I should not, in fact, utilize your services at any point in time. If you can't complete a free fluid and tire check properly and honestly, and you are going to so butt-hurt that you decide to slander my oil condition, you sure as hell don't deserve any of my hard earned money! If any of my team would've acted so poorly when I was an SCM, they would be getting corrective action and retraining. I sincerely hope this terrible display of unprofessional behavior is unique to the Holt Rd location. ETA: checked my oil as soon as I got home, and surprise surprise, it's not low at all, and it's really not even that dark! You can clearly see the level is full, and if it was sludgy and in poor condition, then why can you easily see right through it?? Soooo, this location intentionally lied to me about my oil level and condition to try to scam me into buying oil or an oil change service when it's not needed! Avoid at all costs!!!!

I always get my oil changes done at Valvoline, some locations are obviously better than others. But this particular time I went to the location on Holt Rd in Columbus Ohio. I decided to also do the transmission service as I was told it was overdue. As the techs were doing the service, a hose from your machine popped off and sprayed transmission fluid all over my engine compartment, it covered everything, even leaking out the front of my grill, I'm sure it's still puddled on my skid plate as well. The techs never said a word to me about it, no sorry, nothing. Now my transmission is shifting funny because I watched half the transmission fluid spray everywhere, now I believe my transmission only has half the fluid in it that it needs. I have always taken care of my car and now I believe damage was done because of this. I will never return to a Valvoline location ever again. Valvoline should take responsibility and detail my whole engine compartment as well as redo the service to guarantee it was done properly with the correct amount of transmission fluid.

I’ve never paid for any services to my vehicles but this time I did. They flushed & filled my transmission in about 35 minutes while I sat in my truck. Amazing customer service & very skilled technicians, definitely going back for simple services.

They accommodate to all my needs for my vehicle. The moment I pulled in, they were very attentive and very organized. They kept me updated while I waited in line and while they were working on my car. I highly recommend going to this Valvoline!

Have used valvoline for years, brought in a "new" used car I got and the checks of everything was very thorough. Recommendations for services needed at mileage intervals were pointed out. Best of all fast service.

I went here for a transmission flush, seemed simple enough to have done. Pulled in and the Asst. Mgr. Travis pulled me in and was nice enough, he popped open the hood and disappeared for about 20 mins, during this time an over makeup-ed girl who looked like she was headed to a EDM concert stuck her head right up against my ear while I was in the middle of a conversation with my respectable wife and proceeded to shout "hello" for whatever attention I'm not exactly sure what for (unprofessional), about that time Travis pops back up to let me know that he has done absolutely nothing to my car in the time I've been parked in the bay because he doesn't know how to do it. (asst mgr. doesn't know how to do a transmission flush? - seems rather sus if you ask me.) He then said to call back and ask for his higher up, "Chad" because he knew how to do it. This is where I had a face palm meme play in my head and decided to go elsewhere. Which was the best option because when I got home, I found that Travis did in fact manage to get his oily fingerprints all over my hood, and random oil squirted on the front fender and grill area which impressed the heck out of me to be sure. I'll be looking for a more seasoned group of professionals in the future.

They were fast and detailed didn’t Miss a thing communicated everything with added discounts I needed a recommended transmission flush and oil change and cheaper than going to the dealership where I bought my car and better service they truly do the 18 point check unlike dealerships 6 point Inspection I will always go here won’t Go to place I bought car unless nessesary valvoline truly helps in maintain and prevention keep your car running longer at best performance I noticed difference right away I highly Recommend this place
