Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I went for an oil change today in my 2010 Mercedes-Benz. I tried to use a coupon that I got from the Valvoline website but it didn't work. The manager gave me $25 off which I appreciated. I asked the guy doing the oil change if the oil was low due to a "check engine oil" light that kept coming on. He stated that he couldn't tell me since my car has a digital reader, not a dipstick. I told him that my car does, in fact, have a dipstick. I told him where it is and he told me it was actually the dipstick for the transmission fluid. No it is not!! He then began to pull up YouTube videos to show me how to check the oil digitally. Nothing was found because a digital reader does not exist on my car. I was treated like I was stupid. I've had this car for many years and am very familiar with it. Valvoline is very expensive and was still $130 with the $25 discount. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I've used Walmart,Take 5, Jiffy Lube and one other forgetful place that Valvoline has allowed me to forget about since I'm too disabled to crawl under cars anymore. Valvoline leaves me feeling that the job was done right.

Mr. Cortez and his team were awesome. I highly recommend this business. They were so polite and made sure I understood the process since I am not a "car person". Absolutely amazing experience. Will never use anyone else.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I couldn’t pass this one up. I went there after church last Sunday. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Fast and efficient. Connor specifically went above and beyond to help me. We had nice side conversations. They told me everything I needed to know about my car, and potential repairs that I may need. However, once I told them I would have to wait, they gave me recommendations and didn’t try to push me into buying anything more. That was greatly appreciated. I will definitely return. Another special shout out for Conner!

I give this place a NEGATIVE 10. I took our Ford F350 to get an oil change on Sunday. After they finished I got a couple miles down the road and my low fuel pressure sensor came on and smoke came pouring out from under the hood. I pulled over immediately and called them. Conner said he would come take a look at it. Meanwhile I opened the hood and discovered diesel fuel all over in the engine compartment. Conner found a clamp not secure on the fuel filter they changed and fixed it. After a short test drive we determined it was fixed. The smell of diesel fuel is over whelming in the cab of the truck. MIND YOU.... We're not from South Carolina.... we're from Reno Nevada. We're on the road working and still have another 5000 to 6000 miles to go and we leave Columbia on Saturday. My husband called and spoke to Conner about needing the engine compartment and the undercarriage cleaned. Conner said his manager would call us Monday. We received NO CALL. My husband tried calling today, Tuesday. Someone picked up the phone and then hung up. We tried calling again and the phone went to message. I called one of the other stores and spoke to Joey, another manager. Joey said he would call Chris and have him call us right away. STILL NO CALL FROM ANYONE!!! I called thier corporate Customer Service and told them what happened. She said she would contact Ray, and have him call us. STILL NO CALL FROM ANYONE!!! The diesel fuel smell is overwhelming and I can't stand to drive the truck but short distances. So, while I'm visiting Columbia South Carolina I wanted to go to the zoo, I wanted to go hiking, I wanted to go to the university and museums. I can't do any of these things because I can't drive the truck without feeling sick with a headache. My next step is disputing my credit card payment.

I have called this pla e multiple times a day on multiple days and no one ever answers. Weather it's 9 am. Noon or 4 pm. I'm this is terrible customer service

Don’t come here. They are clueless about changing oil. They drain my oil first then told me they didn’t have oil for it after 45 minutes.

From the moment I drove in, I was greeted by the manager and the rest of the team. The entire team was friendly and knew what they were doing. The entire facility was neat and organized. This is my first time going to Valvoline. I will be returning the next time my car needs an oil change and tire rotation.

Never coming to this place again… i thought I would try them for the 50% off but I was the only car here and it took forever for someone to service me and when they did they didn’t even know how to properly change my oil! I’ve NEVER had any issues getting my oil changed at any other place … I’m scared they are going to mess up something. I’ve been here now for 30 minutes and I’m still waiting. I wanted to leave and get a refund but they said they had to put something back in my car either way.. I will NOT be returning to this place and I’m hoping I don’t have any damages to my car.. TAKE your money to TAKE 5 and save yourself the time .. it’s NOT worth the discount at all!!! I will note the sales people were nice and explained things to me buttttttt nope .. it’s a nightmare.. I’m STILL here as I type smh !

Visited this location because it was new and was offering a half off special on oil changes for the grand opening. Since my air filter needed changing I had them replace with my oil change. After service was completed I started having engine misfires and the engine inspection light came on. After driving for several days I checked under the hood to try and figure out what was going on, turned out the tech that work on my car didn’t secure the housing to the air filter box correctly which under the right conditions could’ve caused damage to the engine.
