Favorite place to get any car work done. Always super friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Favorite part is that they don’t looked the other way or think I’m stupid just cause I’m a woman.

I needed an NC vehicle inspection and looked on the DMV site for approved venders in my zip code. The only one that popped up was AAA Car Care Center. I showed up at 5:15 on Thursday, after getting out of work. They said they did inspections by appointment only and they were scheduling 2 weeks out so I could select an appointment for the week of the 24th (today is the 7th). I told them I would find someone else. I drove half a mile away to this Valvoline location. The mechanics were incredibly helpful and worked as a team to get me (and the five vehicles ahead of me) inspected and out within 35 minutes. I don’t leave many reviews, but this was awesome service. It makes me wonder how much business AAA Car Care Center is missing out on by their current business model.

I needed my tire pressure checked. They were busy, but they took the time to check my tires, which were all low! I will use this service center to get my oil changed from now on.

I’m one of those people who waited last minute for the NC emissions exam and needed to find somewhere to do it asap before the month ended. After getting denied at three other shops prior that day I was referred to Valvoline. I drove up got in line. Even though they were busy (3cars in each of the 3 rows) when I pulled up I was still out in just about 1 hour which I thought was reasonable for December 30th. The guys work well together and have a good system going.

They were extremely professional and quick. Made me feel like I was Nascar driver and they were the pit crew. They knew their stuff and gave me all the info about what my car needed without pressuring me to purchase additional services. They gave me the info and prices and let me make the decision without the harrassment. They also worked well together as a team. I enjoyed watching them and listening to them work 😊 and I still got an additional service done because the gentleman was very kind and informative with the information. I loved it here and will start going here from now on. I'm recommending to everyone!

Unfortunately tried to get an oil change at 7:08. No one attending or answering the phone though the lights were on and the time says you are open at 7:00am. 😕

✨✨ About three weeks ago, I visited Valvoline to get my vehicle inspected, an oil change, a new filter, and a transmission plug. I showed up late on a busy Saturday, and they were absolutely packed. Despite that, the team was incredibly accommodating and got me in and out in about 30 minutes with all the services taken care of. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. They took the time to explain everything, but still managed to work efficiently, which I really appreciated. I waited a bit before writing this review to make sure everything with my car was running smoothly, and I can confidently say that everything has been perfect since. Their prices are competitive with other places in the area, but the level of service here really stands out. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone, and I’ll be coming back for my car maintenance needs in the future.

If I could give negative 100 stars I would. First, this location states on its website and Google that it opens at 8:30am on Sundays; meanwhile, it opens at 9am. Second, even though I printed out a coupon the same day I tried to use it, their system wouldn't let them use it and they had to do a manual add. Third, I got a state inspection done by them, but even though they scanned my door, the VIN is incorrect on the inspection paperwork, so therefore it doesn't match what NC has, and as a result, I cannot renew my registration resulting in a $25 late fee and depending on how long it takes them to fix it, potential penalties and interest while I cannot drive my vehicle legally. When I contacted customer care, they refused, yes refused, to help me.

Have come here for years for inspections, usually ultra convenient. Today I pulled up for an inspection only, was told to get in line for bay 3, did so, and proceeded to be asked what I needed 3 more times while next in line for bay 3. Meanwhile, the two cars behind me have come and gone and I am still awaiting my turn to get into the bay. The cars behind me were here for a total of about 15 min. My visit took over an hour for just an inspection. The management of the flow of cars should be substantially better. Don't know that I'll be back after today.

Joe was very friendly and explained the process from start to finish. He made sure his staff did everything properly and explained when/why they needed to correct something. I always have a good experience at this Valvoline.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! The customer service is horrible. THE TECHNICIANS ARE UNEXPERIENCED AND THE AREA MANAGER DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS EITHER. ONE OF TECHNICIANS GAVE ME WRONG DIRECTIONS AND MY CAR WENT INTO THE DITCH! No one took responsibility FOR THE COLLISION.

Went in for an inspection today. As soon as I pulled in the bay, the guy at the service desk starts giving me an attitude as he is asking me for the current mileage on my vehicle. I brush it off. Fast forward 10 minutes, he sends someone else in to tell me my parking brake isn’t working and therefore I will not pass the inspection. But regardless, they will proceed with the rest of the inspection process. Not even 60 seconds later, he sends that same guy back to let me know oh nope, never mind, we will send you on your way and won’t even finish up with the rest of the inspection for whatever reason they determined and just didn’t want to disclose. For some odd reason, the guy had made up his mind and just did not want to deal with me in the first place. I believe the gentleman was being referred to as Ty. I highly recommend you train your staff in customer service. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Rather disappointed in my last visit. Went for a simple oil change and they did not put the pieces back together on the underside of my car. My mechanic brother in another state noticed the plastic hanging and scraping when I went to visit 7 days after my last service here. He went underneath the car and noticed 7 bolts missing and only the clips barely holding the plastic and skip plate under my car. My brother further commented to me that it was bent underneath and scratch from the valvoline employee’s attempts to haphazardly force the clips to hold the plastic and skip plate in place. I will not be returning as I can no longer trust that I will get the service I once experienced at this location. I will go to a trusted mechanic from now on.
