I HAAAAAATE getting oil changes at the dealership. First time trying this and honestly now the only way I’ll get changes done. Guys were cool and patient with me as I had trouble understanding some things from being hungover lol Thanks y’all

Broke my gas cap when I went in for my annual inspection/oil change and didn’t tell me. I found out the next time I went to get gas when my gas cap fell off. Returned to ask them to fix it and they surprisingly acknowledged that they had broken it and agreed to order a new gas cap. However, when the gas cap arrived we found out it was an incorrect size. The Valvoline manager Zachry told us they would order the correct size, and to come back another week later. We did, and this time were told that they were “still looking” for the right size gas cap, and to come back in another week. (At this point, I’ve had a broken gas cap for a month). We officially gave up then and just drove to AutoZone, bought a gas cap, and fixed it ourselves. Overall, this was the most disappointing interaction I’ve ever had with a car service company. I would not trust this Valvoline with your vehicle, unless you’re okay with finding a surprise broken part later, being strung along as if they’re going to fix it without refunding you or anything, and then ultimately giving up and fixing the issue yourself due to their incompetence. UPDATE: It’s been a month, and I have now discovered that my car has been leaking oil ever since my oil change. This has never happened before. They also failed to top off my washer fluid, coolant, or brake fluid.

I don't often leave reviews, but I was so happy with my oil change service here! The crew was friendly and they checked my car's fluids, lights, and tore pressure at no extra cost. The oil change was fast and I was able to stay in my car the entire time. I'll for sure be returning. 😊

I only use this location off Slaughter Lane here in Austin, TX. Always a great service and explain well when additional items need servicing and when something can wait.

I would steer clear from this place. If all goes well then maybe it's fine but it's clear that if there's an issue they are not prepared to take responsibility unless they're forced to. My wife took her car here for an oil change and check up. They told her that her battery was expired and needed replacing. Mind you, there was no issues with the battery. Fast forward two days and I'm driving across town to help her because her car is Dead, no lights or anything. I get there and it's immediately clear that this is A. the wrong sized battery and B. A used or reconditioned battery. The terminals are worn, dull and oxidized. They also made no efforts to clean or prep the cable connections. After I replace the battery with the correct size and resolve the issue I call them. I ask the first guy to connect me to a manager and he insists that first I tell him what my issue is. Then he proceeds to argue, insisting that I'm wrong, that they never install used batteries and they only install the correct OEM designated size. So yeah I lit him up and demanded the manager, so he hung up. I call back get a pleasant and helpful woman on the phone and she gets me the manager, no hassles. He proceeds to tell me that I need to return the car with the battery installed. AS IF. And that before they can do anything to resolve the issue they have to complete a full investigation. It's not Watergate. Just tell me not to sweat it and you'll sort it out. Don't tell me that you can't fix the problem unless you can determine I'm not a liar, what kind of hustle is that? What kind of game could I be getting at? In the very least the staff here need customer service training. Yeah I wasn't nice about it, but if I hadn't received push back the moment I got them on the line it never would have gone that far. A chargeback to my card is imminent.

Great shop, fast and friendly service. Highly recommended! Just wanted to come and update this review. I didn't realize that I had left at 7 years ago. I will say that nothing has changed in that 7 years. I super recommend this place. I have never experienced such friendly and efficient employees at an automotive shop as here.

Went there twice this month (2 cars) for a State Inspection only. First time, the up-sell was horrible. Leave my filters in my car, leave my tires alone, what are you doing to my battery! When I declined the new filter, they didn't even close the housing where the filter goes. Second time, "the inspection guy's not here". So I drove down to Manchaca and had zero up-sell. Two stars because I've been going here many years without these problems.

My experience today was excellent. Ian was my technician. He was very informative and thorough. The rest of the staff was busy and the operation seemed very efficient. We will bring all of our fleet vehicles here in the future. Highly recommend.

Won't return. Huge upsell. They were out of the regularly priced oil. Had to purchase higher grade. Said my battery was bad. Went to O'Reilly to double check and they said it was fine. I had good luck at other locations but this one is off my list.

I arrived at 8 and they don't do inspections till 9. I came back at 8:55. They said I would be up soon. Waited for 30 minutes and still in line with an oil change in front of me. I left. Total incompetence!

I love going here!!! Everyone is so nice and they do a really good job. I trust everyone at this location with my baby (my car)!!! Michael was very helpful with providing me with services I needed. I can honestly say this young man knows what he's doing. This location and workers really know what they are doing and will never point you in the wrong direction. I've been coming here for over 3 years now! Thank you everyone!
