This location is amazing! The staff are always very helpful and always take care of my family and I! We have been going to this location for years and don’t have plans to go anywhere else when it comes to our cars. They charge fair prices as well!

I went here on Christmas Eve about two hours before they closed because I needed my battery changed and they saved the day for me. I already called around the day before & made an appointment at Sam’s. Apparently my battery is one that can’t be changed at places like AutoZone, which used to be how I’d do it. Anyway, I went to Sam’s, bought the battery, and about an hour after my appointment they called & said they can’t change my battery & I needed to go to a mechanic where they’d have the right tools. I walked in to Tires Plus & the gentleman looked at my vehicle, confirmed they’re capable of changing the battery, which they had in stock & had me out of the door in 45 minutes. Thank you so much! I was able to safely make it to my holiday celebrations because of you!

The prices are a little high for a tire installation, but the quality of tires and work are better than most others in the business.

We left University Tires Plus with smiles on our faces. The reason? Jake and Jimmy. We had brought our car in with a tire problem and were worried about what might be involved. No worries, though. In short order, the car was ready. A new tire? Not so, explained a smiling Jake and Jimmy. They knew what was needed. A nail had been removed, the tire patched up and all was well. They got me in and repaired a screw in my tire in less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. I will be taking my truck back next time I need brakes, tires or an oil change

I called an asked “what are the chances I can come in the early part of this afternoon when it is slow to have my tires checked?” The guy I talked to said “Zero!” So I guess you do not need more business.

Brought my car in and had my tires rotated and they charged $40 when I could have gone somewhere else and had it done for much less or even free. Went home parked the car returned from vacation a week later to find a flat tire. Went back to them to have it fixed and was told they couldn’t because the nuts needed a special tool that i had to go somewhere else to purchase and bring it back to them that is when I asked how did they rotate my tires they then checked the computer to see i was there a week ago so the technician stole my tool so they went and purchased another and charged me $35 to plug my tire which I know is too much. They included the price of the tool. Ripoff’s and thieves, never again

Best tire shop in Sarasota, I took a slow leaking tire elsewhere because Tires Plus couldn't get to it same-day. They told me I needed a new tire, I had my doubts. So dropped it off at Tires Plus to look at the following day, they fixed it no sweat. Won't be bothering with any other shops ever again to say the least. Been coming here for over 15 years, and they'll continue to have my business going forward.

I go here for my oil changes usually and they do a good job. I wouldn't go here for Brake Pads though kind of pricey. They seem pretty good with other things as well.

My light had come on and it was an orange color so I called and they said to come in and they would check it. A man had told me its probably the pressure in your tires are low so they checked the tires put in a bit of air in each they said the light would go away after a few miles. The light is still on and another co found what was wrong by checking the problem. Do not go to this place over crowed and if your a woman don't ever go you get treated differently.

Their service and work is amazing!! I spent months going around in circles trying to figure out what was wrong with my car. Turns out, it was the steering wheel bushing (which most service places haven't even heard of for whatever reason). This Tires Plus was able to diagnose and fix my car with no issue.
