Being from out of town, I needed tires during the recent storm. I stopped in and paid for 4 tires. During the installation, the tech knocked the chrome off of the wheels, he did not stop after the first and continued to damage all 4 wheels on my truck. When I brought this to the shop’s attention, their response was that it’s not their problem. The worst problem here, they never brought this to my attention, they just gave me my keys and sent me on my way. Poor business management. Sad thing is, as I talk to people from the area, university tire has a poor reputation for doing things like this to their customers. Sad. I will stay away and never use them again. That is my recommendation. I’m sure they will respond with the same bs they told me. A reputable business would have handled this differently.

This University Tire and Auto location is a lifesaver! I got a flat tire nearby at 5:50pm and they close at 6:00pm. I called to see if they were still open and if they can replace my tire. They had the tire in stock and remained open past closing time for me to arrive and replace my tire. Very friendly, courteous, and informative. I highly recommend this location!

Here it is, the eve of Thanksgiving, and a tire with LOW pressure (go ahead and say flat), was noticed. There were only minutes…before they closed, but I called. The gentleman said come by. I pulled up and was greeted outside. I bought my new tires (I needed them), and under the expected time, I paid and was ready to hit the road. Thank you to these gentleman for their fantastic customer service.

Horrible services. Left me stranded in parking lot. They couldn’t get the spare tire off. Then after I got a new tire they would not used used rim. Smh

I came in right after opening and my car was inspected within an hour. Didn't try to nickel and dime me on needless things. Also came in another day in the afternoon to get tire replaced on work vehicle. It was busier than in the morning, but it only took a few hours to get replaced. Plenty of seating available, chargers available for devices, TV, and nice lounge area. Highly recommend them. A+

We had a screw in our tire as we were traveling across the state. We called 3 different tire shops to ask if they could patch our tire. Each one said they were too busy to help us. University Tire on Seminole said they could help us right away. They repaired the tire and got us on our way. They were super friendly and kind to us. We appreciated the fact that they stopped what there were doing to help travelers get back on the road. If you need superior service with the kindest people please visit their store. We highly recommend them!

Took vehicle for state inspection and had my daughter and 9 month old twin granddaughters with me, expected we would be waiting forever, Not the case Dale did inspection and was nice enough to replace a bulb I had no idea was out,conversed with me about my vehicle and even took the time to interact with the grandbabies! Definitely recommend and I will return

I took my car in for an oil change a week ago and the next day I noticed that my car was leaking oil, took my car back in and they supposedly checked it over. My car is still leaking oil, took it back in again for them to say it’s a bad piece or something, at this point I’m like I’ll take my car and have it checked out by someone else. I just got my car diagnosed and come to find out….UNIVERSITY TIRE LEFT OFF THE CRUSH WASHER! I could’ve blown my motor with the amount of oil that was leaking!

I've had nothing but great experiences here. Dale and Billy are absolutely awesome. They always take great care of me when it comes to my car. They are always nice, courteous, and caring when it comes to me and my needs. If I had a problem it was taken care of immediately and without hesitation. I have developed a great relationship with them, if they ever left I would never go back there again! Keep up the great work Dale and Billy!

They are horrible! I went in for the state inspection and was told to have to wait for 4 hours on the first day; came back at 7 AM on the second day and waited for 45 minutes just to be served as the first customer. In and out for two hours for the inspection and charged for $47 for the change of the tag light bulb.

We were traveling and I hit a curb which ruined my tire. It was late in the afternoon and Todd Breeden assured me he had a compatible tire in stock and to come right in. He took care of the tire quickly and the price was very reasonable. He was very pleasant and lessened the stress after driving all day. We safely arrived at our destination the next day. Thank you again Todd for such great service!

On Friday July 19, 2024 I drove 2 1/2hrs to meet my son at the Outback on Seminole Court due to his truck was having mechanical issues. The serpentine belt was shredded and there was no way I was going to make it back to NC. It was now 5:45pm and I contacted university tire who was scheduled to close at 6pm, and spoke to Todd and began to explain where I was and the situation I was in. Todd happily told me to drive the truck down the hill to their shop and he would take care of it. Todd ordered me a serpentine belt and HE AND HIS STAFF stayed over on a Friday evening until (7:30pm) to fix my truck and got us back on the road. I couldn’t have asked for a better professional group of guys!! They were truly a blessing and WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for your vehicle needs!! THANK YOU AGAIN TODD!!! YOU AND YOUR STAFF WERE GREAT!!!

I entered the shop with minimal expectations, cautiously guarded due to past experiences. My work-used car bears the marks of its labor, showing signs of wear and tear. My sole purpose was to purchase a couple of tires, expecting the usual pressure from shop owners to buy more than necessary and the accompanying guilt-trip for my current situation. However, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter a team of professionals who treated me with respect and understanding. The service provided was exceptional.

I was warned not to go there. But gave it a shot anyway. They wanted to charge me $700 for 2 new tires because they said they couldn’t plug the hole in my one tire. I took it somewhere else and they plugged it no problem. Avoid this business and go somewhere honest.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This auto body shop is an absolute rip-off! They not only try to gouge you with exorbitant charges but also deliberately failed my vehicle during state inspections for no reason at all. Took my car elsewhere, and surprise, it passed immediately. This place is a total scam, taking advantage of people who trust them. Save yourself time and money and go literally anywhere else.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A BRAKE INSPECTION!! I recently had my oil change done at another auto facility and it was perfectly fine then came here for a brake inspection. They then called me saying I had no oil in my car which means they drained it after saying they didn’t touch it. Now I have to get another oil change thanks to them.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Chuck, Melton of University Tire and Auto centers at the Seminole square location who is competent, professional, and goes the extra mile to make sure that your treated well and quickly. The experience was so pleasant that I decided to replace all of the Tires on two of my cars.

If you have a young daughter, stay away from them people they are crooks and rip off . Please stay away. The window Tint, been on the car for three years they find a way to make money if you are female then when she called back and asked, can you cut the part where the blocking the brake light they say no they got to take the whole thing off no that’s a rip off $120 I don’t care what people y’all rip off people cause I call a couple people said no that been on that car three years and been to different places to get inspected including couple of times it was just a money grab you didn’t need to take the whole thing off but it’s OK. She knows better next time never go to y’all rip off place.

Thanks to University Tire for the prompt attention to my problem - a flat tire that I hoped could quickly be repaired or replaced, even though it was late in the day when I arrived. The manager explained that his Technicians were busy, but he took the damaged tire, found the hole, plugged it and put it on the car, taking off the spare and replacing it into the storage. When I asked "how much?", he kindly said, "No Charge!". Will I go back to University Tire? Will I recommend them to my friends? You can bet on it!
