Got a tire from them. No longer than a week later I went to another shop and they tell me that theirs a bubble on the inside of the tire. How do yall not see this when yall put it on? I wasted $60 dollars here JUST TO HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET ANOTHER ONE. Never coming back. Like EVER.

I went there because my work van was shaking when driving. They told me I needed two tires at the front for $300. Upon agreeing, they came back to convince me I needed better tires for $350. They installed the tires, and the van is still doing the same thing. I went back in 30 minutes, and they claimed It was a faulty control arm. I asked them to reinstall my old tires since that was not the problem. They refused and wanted to fight. I paid them with cash app, which means I can't even call to dispute the transaction.

I inquired all around for rims for my Range Rover couldn’t find them anywhere! I Called Universal Tires and Rims they took care of us with 45 minutes! Very professional reasonably price! We will be back!!

I broke down on the side of the road and the owner stopped when he seen I was broke down and told me to send it to his shop he had it fully fixed the next day and gave me an amazing price

I received a call from my son while he was there having custom rims installed on one of the classic vehicles that we have restored. The owner spoke with my son about having an engine installed in a classic vehicle that he was trying to restore. My son called me (I am in Rochester, Mi) and says that the owner of Universal Tires wanted to meet with me about it, and the owners statement was this, "I would only have to put the engine in the car " I told the owner that I would meet him there after I finish preparing my dinner (I am a transplant patient). The drive had taken an hour. After getting there and the receptionist was walking around the property on her cellphone (I overheard the personal call) not concerned with me walking around looking for the owner (I was dressed in my professional service uniform). After five minutes or so, she looks at me and ask me what do I want, while still engaged in her personal call. I briefly explained to her why I was there, and her response was, "He is next door, he will be here soon." I walked around and waited another ten minutes while the unlicensed and unlearned mechanics were trying to figure out how to do a job on a vehicle. The owner finally shows up and tell me to follow him to look at the engine that was going to be installed in the vehicle. The engine was on a stand, completely broken down, and the parts were all over an old bench style care seat. The owner wanted me to put the engine back together and put it in the car for what amounted to pennies. Within my gift of discernment and the analytical nature of my character, I found the owner to be a liar, a cheat, and of an avaricious nature. Cheating his customers with exorbitant prices and refusing to pay a decent wage for the services that he requires.

i came in to have some work done on my car on 3/16/24…they told me i needed struts and shocks on my truck …they did the work on my car charged me $1240 to fix that …the initial reason i brought the car in was because it was making a noise which i was told i needed struts …after they so called fixed it he took me under my truck to show the new parts then say omg we missed this part which was my trailing arms …and said it would be another $600 to fix that …How do you not fix the actual problem then tell me i needed struts when that could have waited ..another shop looked at it and told me they made it worse by putting those new parts on there before fixing the actual problem i would never go back or recommend this place in life now i’m out of $1240 for nothing

I've only been there once. My tire place sent me there because they don't do patches. Universal does patches. I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

They are liars I sent my Son to the shop to see if they had my tire. I had a blowout on the freeway. They told him. Yes I called when I was on my way with the tow truck. They told me yes I asked again once I got there they told me yes once it was time to put the tire on they said they don’t have it they sold it. I need to buy a new one. It went from $60 to 130 then they told me I need it my rim bent also I couldn’t find my key lock so they told me they can take it off for me. I agree with them telling me I can use the lock again after not being able to put a tire on because I refuse to buy a new one for 130 expecting to only pay $60 he told me I cannot use my lock and allow me to drive off with only three working lugs. This place is a rip off they are liars and very unprofessional, and only thing they was worried about was me giving them their receipt back to prove they didn’t do the work
