My 2009 Santa Fe needed a timing belt replacement and plenty of TLC . David Jones went above and beyond in replacing the timing belt, water-pump and serpentine belt. He spent hours recovering my license plate lights from under years of Illinois salt & rust, and addressed the other safety/aesthetic issues such as taillights and windscreen wipers. All for a very fair price. He is my car’s new favorite person.

Mr. David is a fair and reasonable guy. Master mechanic who knows how to save you money based on his knowledge and is not in the car business to make money. I am a single women and have been going to him for two yrs. Had him help me pick a used car that runs great. Also saved me 400$ on a repair that was going to cost $1100 everywhere else.

This place is a total rip off! Said I had a leaking water pump and they charged me $550 to replace it. It wasn't leaking and I had some other mechanics look at it afterwards and they all said he didn't replace it. When he showed me the part he took off it was really greasy, which, it wasn't before he took it off?? And it was a small piece of the pump that he showed me! Do not trust this place! Everytime I asked him a question, he turned his back and said hee hee hee hee!?!? It really needed the head gasket replaced which he said would cost $1200 but they had already taken the top of the engine off because when you change the water pump on a Honda you're supposed to change the timing belt. So please don't let them take advantage of you!!! God bless you if you take your car there! When I asked why they couldn't go ahead and change the head gasket, he said it didn't go there??? Hee hee hee hee??

I took my car there for a brake problem. The owner told me what he thought it probably was and I agreed. The next day he called and told me my car was ready and I can pick it up. The price was fair the job was done in a very reasonable amount of time I'm pretty happy

overcharge 1.5 fold more than the initial quote. Took more than 1 month. don't notice you when something goes wrong and charge you for fixing the part which was okay when I dropped the car. blames you for that.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WASTE OF MONEY. WASTE OF TIME. My car was making a noise when I turned....a clicking sound that had me worried. I am driving 1100 miles today so thought I needed to make sure it is safe. I took my Acura SUV to Youniversal Auto Care two weeks ago, test drove it with them, they heard the sound and said they would fix it. 3 days and $650 dollars later, they told me they replaced the "tie-rod ends" and that it was fixed. I pick up my car only to find the EXACT same sound as I am driving out of their shop, PLUS NOW MY FRONT END SHIMMIES WHEN I SLOW DOWN!!! They tell me to bring it back a few days later. I do then they tell me it was an oversight, that what I really need is a new "rack and pinion assembly". Well that cost me another $650.00 dollars and three days without my car. I pick up my car last night only to find that as I am two blocks away I RUN OUT OF GAS!!!! They had run my gas ( I left it with more than 1/4 tank) to "Zero miles left" to empty. THE CLICKING IS THE EXACT SAME!!!! AND THE FRONT END SHIMMIES TERRIBLY WHEN I BRAKE OR SLOW DOWN. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
