Welcome to Boise’s automotive repair shop! Established in 1981 by Pat Marron as a full-service automotive service and repair business. In April of 2021, Dowdy’s Automotive brought Tune Tech and continued the quality service that Pat founded his business on. We offer an array of services like engine and transmission services, factory maintenance, brake work, heating and cooling system services, and so much more! Dropped car off for an oil change and any other problem, had car in less than a day bill was reasonable. Great mechanics great customer service Ryan was a pleasure to work with. Can’t get any better than that.

Ryan and all the guys at tune tech are so kind and thoughtful. I LOVE these guys and would recommend them to anyone who wants to feel like they’re being taken care of honestly. 5 starts everytime with every interaction. these guys are AWESOME!!!!! Small town feel in a big city-nothing like it.

The Technicians at Tune Tech seem to really know modern, classic, and exotic vehicles. I have even seen a pristine Jaguar XKE in this shop going through a major inspection/part replacement. And they just did normal age work on my 2007 F-150;well done and in an expeditious time.

The staff at Tune Tech were all very professional, knowledgeable, and nice. A day that starts with your car not starting is never a good day, but they quickly helped me address the issue, were very communicative throughout the process and made it so easy to get back on the road. I would absolutely come back here again and would highly recommend them.

Very impressed with the work today. Brought in a used vehicle I'd recently purchased that had been sitting for three years. Previous owner had no service records and a hazy recollection of the maintenance history. Beyond an oil change, I had a laundry list of items I wanted Tune Tech to look at. They called back and said an oil change was all it needed. They could have told me anything. They recommended new front tires and an alignment, and sent me on my way. I'll definitely be back.
