I have been getting my car serviced here for almost 3 years now and I don’t know what I would do without these guys! They are so knowledgeable and helpful and I don’t ever feel like I am being taken advantage of. The quality of service they provide is unmatched! I highly recommend!

Everyone was super friendly! I went for an inspection and upon handing over my vehicle, it was pointed out that I was due for an oil change. Although I declined, I appreciated that it was noticed and offered. If I ever need major maintenance done, I would feel comfortable bringing my vehicles here!

Over a year ago, I gave a glowing review for Triad Select Auto and sadly, after my last several visits with them before I changed mechanics, I had to delete it because I can no longer recommend this company. I am now giving up my updated review for Triad Auto Select, explaining why I no longer give my business to this once customer-oriented company. I've been coming to Triad Select Auto when Jason was still running it and after when Clay took over. At first, the prices were reasonable and if they could, they would work with you on getting your car repaired. There was a sense of customer appreciation and that you weren't a hindrance to them. Then Jason left and things were still going great for awhile, until they became affiliated with Technet. I saw a sudden shift about caring for their customers verses trying to get every dollar out of customer's pocket. This was even more apparent after I wrote them a glowing review about my past experiences. I have an older car and with older cars there comes issues, which I know very well about. It seemed though that every time I came for an oil change (which seemed to always increase in price with every passing visit since they joined Technet), there was always a new issue popping up that would be a costly repair. I couldn't afford it but I told Clay when I could, I would try to repair as I have a limited budget. Clay would also start to inform me that he wouldn't trust my vehicle going on long trips anymore and started to try to push the idea of me getting a new car; something that I very much couldn't afford. The last repair I had with Clay cost me around $600 to repair. He had told me that the connector that was connected to my radiator fan melted because the voltage it was sending was too much for the fan to handle, making it a defective fan. He put a patch around the "melted" part and kept trying to push me to replace the fan that I had just bought at another shop less than 6 months ago when my car broke down. I informed him that I would just take it to the shop that I had to replace it at since the part would have been under a manufacturer warranty. I got a lot of push back before his tone changed, telling me not worry about it; that the fix should make it work just fine. It was definitely a far cry from what he was originally telling me. I picked up my car after the repair and against his advice, I still took it to the other shop, showing them the picture that Clay provided me. They told me that it didn't look like a melt, but more so a cut that could have come from a rock while traveling on the road. While testing it themselves, the other shop found no issues with the voltage output going to the fan and didn't charge me for any diagnostic fee as a courtesy. If I had listen to Clay and replaced that fan, it would have been another $700 on top of the $600 repair he already did. I was then starting to get suspicious of Triad Select Auto and their updated practices/policies with Technet. Not including the surge of increasing prices where they use to be reasonable to now becoming outrageous, it was starting to become much harder to get an appointment; sometimes having to schedule 3 to 5 days in advance. I still wanted to give the place a chance because my car's maintenance as been done by this company since pre-pandemic so I continued to go to Triad for oil changes. When I made mention that it was time that I consider on getting my catalytic converter repaired at my last oil change, I got told that Clay no longer felt comfortable working on my car because it wasn't worth it. I took that as my que that my business was no longer welcomed and the once customer oriented company was more focused now on making the high dollar than customer loyalty. It also felt really horrible to be treated like this because I didn't have the budget to do all the repairs that he claimed to find. I have since found a better mechanic that doesn't charge nearly as high and debunked all of the issues that Triad Select Auto claimed my car had. I do NOT recommend this place.

This is a great place for UNCG on-campus students, it's within walking distance and has decent pricing. My car still sounds a bit off after repairs, but it was fast service with good communication all throughout the process. Y'all have my thanks, and I plan to return if needed.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, my sad, old, tired car didn't pass inspection, but the gentleman who explained why, was very helpful in his reasoning and showed me pictures of the undercarriage so that I could see exactly what he was talking about. I'd already had an idea of the problem of which he was speaking, but I was very grateful for his non-condescending tone and genuine friendliness. When I get another car, I feel confident that I'll bring it to Triad Select Auto for my maintenance needs!

I’ve had a great experience both times I’ve been! When my car window wasn’t closing they were able to fit me in for same day service and have my car back to me in just a couple of hours! Friendly people and great work :)

Excellent customer service! Took both cars in for a state inspection and was very happy with how smooth and quick it went. I scheduled on their site, which is so convenient. I was there a few mins before each appt and I didn't have to wait around to get started. They stayed true to my appt time and I was out fast. Even with an internet issue one day (not their fault), they were able to get me in and out and even went above and beyond (which was not necessary at all). I was able to work and another time I brought my kids because I figured they'd be just as quick as the time before and they were. I overheard the staff talking to another customer who had multiple issues with their vehicle and they were factual, not pushy, and respectful of allowing the customer to make their own choices about the work they wanted to be done. Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in, thinking I had a transmission issue, check engine light on, and when I returned they gave me a list of services that they could do on my car totaling over $2,000. They found no actual issue with my transmission, but offered to charge me >$500 to try some options for it. They told me there would be no guarantee that would fix the issue. After being charged $175 for a diagnostic that didn't tell me what happened to my car, I took my car to a transmission shop, they plugged in the check engine light error code and told me the exact issue with my car. The issue was nowhere on the Triad Auto statement of services. Either they didn't even think to check the code, or they chose not to, either way I am so disappointed. I used to go to Triad for an oil change because it was reasonably priced and I figured they would treat me well when I brought them business to repair my car. Will not be returning, and will not be recommending this business to anyone.

I had Triad Select Auto perform a pre-buy inspection on a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I am not local to Greensboro, NC. Triad did an amazing job and their technician was as picky as I would be and found 32 items that needed addressing. In short, I didn't purchase the vehicle and Triad saved me time and money. If I were local to Greensboro, I'd have them service my personal vehicle.

Why take the risk of seeing any other car mechanic shop when Triad Select Auto is the hands-down best auto shop in the entire Triad area? I've had my fair share of mechanics work on all of my vehicles, and no one is more honest, affordable, and ALWAYS goes above and beyond than the good folks over at Triad Auto Select. They know the definition of "over-deliver."
