I went here about two weeks ago for a tuneup I was charged $250 , this week I’m having issues with my vehicle because apparently the mechanic only replaced one coil , so I was advised to buy 3 more coils ?? I was charged $100 for labor $150 for one coil .. so I took my vehicle to another shop , and bought 4 brand new coil pack for $170 & had to pay for labor , but the job was done right! Hate I wasted my money at Total Tech ..

As the owner of Total Tech Auto I would like to reply to the person about the Navigator. I have been in business for 35 years. I would not still be here this long by running a poor business with poor customer relations. I feel your story leaves much of the details out. Also let me point point out I let you purchase your own parts and always inform my customers if you bring your own materials there is no warranty. You brought your SUV to me with an issue and your story of it running well is in question or else why did you need my service. I will end you can please everyone most of the time but not everyone , maybe you just did not like the station my radio was on that day.

I don't know what is James problems were but I would only like to reply by saying we have been opened for 30 years and this is NOT the kind of work we do or else we would not be here. Sorry for your issue but I feel it goes much deeper.

We recently were traveling thru Columbia, SC on a Saturday afternoon and our vehicle broke down. We were unable to get a rental car, tow truck or auto repair shop. Charles at Total Tech Automotive came to our rescue and recommended a wrecker service and had vehicle towed to his repair shop.. Repairs were made in a professional manner, Charles kept us well informed and the repairs were reasonably priced. The repair was completed in a timely manner and we picked up our vehicle on Monday afternoon. We found Charles to be very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in need of auto repair.

Terrible experience at this shop. I had the brakes done on my explorer, when I picked the car up not only was the bill almost double what it was supposed to be but I also found out after taking the vehicle to ANOTHER mechanic days later for a new noise that popped up after having my brakes done that total tech had put USED pads on my explorer and had also not installed new rotors which I was charged for!! I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this shop.
