TDLR; for the love of God, do NOT take your car here. Unless you are ok with months of it sitting around (outside), while these crooks decide on how to squeeze more and more money out of you. I took my beautiful Nissan GTR here because of transmission issues. It was already a nightmare, just made worse thanks to the deplorable business practices at Torqqe. Not only did they charge me THOUSANDS of dollars to address adjacent "issues"(which another shop fixed for 1/4th of the cost) they had the AUDACITY after MONTHS, to tell me "the car is in very bad condition and cannot be driven!" to attempt to scare me and charge me another $5k above the $4k I already gave them. Think it ends there? It does NOT. They charged me $1100 for a $600 "special order" part, which they wouldn't return EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T THE ISSUE. And the lady at the front desk, who was a nightmare to speak to and made it seem like the CUSTOMER IS AT FAULT, says "oh well you are paying for Rusty's experience!" BULLSHIT. We are living in a new world lady. The internet is a beautiful resource and knows more than any of you crooks. I got it fixed by a way better shop in KILLEEN. All that "experience" and you order me a new clutch basket instead of testing pressure sensors, which the customer EXPLAINED IN DETAIL IS THE ENGINE CODE. Comedians. They would not return this WRONGFULLY ORDERED PART (i'm taking other actions now) and had the audacity to attempt to "start charging me holding costs" after already having my car sit there for 4 months while they were scratching their genius brains trying to figure out a SENSOR ISSUE that took the Killeen shop 4 hours to figure out. WHAT A DISASTER, A JOKE. Do not do business with them especially if you have a performance vehicle. Most autoshops in Austin are bad. Go elsewhere. At least their office is kind of cool. I'm sure they can pay for cool things with the money they steal from people. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE PLEASE. Learn from my costly mistake.

I had a very frustrating experience when I had the fuel tank replaced on my Jeep Trackhawk. We must’ve dropped that fuel tank 4 times and pulled the pumps out, sent them to the manufacturer for test and everything. Turns out the hydromat on the main pump had somehow dried up/clogged when the tank was swapped. Long story short, Rusty worked with me to resolve the issue to get the issue resolved and my Jeep back to running low 10’s. Just to be clear, none of the issues I had were caused by Torque, I have a very custom setup where a lot can go wrong. I appreciate Rusty and the gang working hard to get my issue resolved.

I experienced an enormous lack of professionalism from the Torqqe team. Picked up my car in worse condition than I had dropped it off, and they lost the parts I provided them. Find a shop willing and ready to take your job, not one that piles on cars that they forget about.

Rusty, the owner and chief mechanic, has been repairing and race tuning cars for 35+ years. I imagine he will work on most cars, but he specializes in the more exotic vehicles. Brought my Cobra in for some work and I’m very pleased with how it runs and tracks the road. BUT don’t take your car to Torqqe- he’s my mechanic; I found him first!

Tried to call to get an estimate and see if they could potentially work on my car the guy rusty the mechanic was very disrespectful and disregarding over the phone and seem money hungry instead of proper customer service.

I installed some Coilovers on my car and needed a shop to dial them in and align the car afterward. A few of the shops I called couldn't or wouldn't do it as it was "too new of a car to find in the system". Called Rusty with Torqqe and he had me come in same-day. The shop is really amazing.. some really cool cars and the decor is pretty neat, too. Rusty was who I worked with as he seemed short staffed but that didn't stop him from really outlining what his plans were with the car. He even showed me around the shop and gave me some background on it. Picked up my car today and couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Once I get it on the track we may need to tweak the alignment a bit (or maybe not) but I kind of want to just so I can go back, haha. Great experience overall.. thanks Rusty!

I wish I could give negative stars!! DO NOT take your vehicle here unless you want to waist your $$$ Total upsell/rip off place with incompetent kids... Took my c5 z06 to get AC going (was not blowing cold) and also fix rough idle at start up(once it was warmed up it was fine). Was told it needed 2 new belts and that the aftermarket catch can was not hooked up correctly and they suggested to get a stock system put back on it. Wrong. The belts were 3 mos old. They DID find that the AC belt was thrown off and so I asked them to replace it thinking that would fix the AC problem. After they got it all buttoned up. They informed me that when the belt had come off it has severed one of the wires to the 2 wired plug going into the AC compressor so still no AC and that there was unmetered air leaking into the intake at the boot. So, I'm waiting for him to tell me "so we went ahead and fixed the wire and fixed the air leak with some silicone, all good now". But then the kid says "sorry we could not help ya". I was So, I spent $490 on a new AC belt and a diagnostic that told me that they could not fix it!!?? I took it home and spliced a piece of wire and sealed the hole with silicone and it is FIXED!! I should have asked to talk to an adult when I was there. Live and learn I guess.

Brought my car here to be aligned after it was recommended to my by 2 shops in Austin. After having it aligned, I get a call saying my car wouldn’t start. I didn’t know what to tell them because when I brought it to them it was in perfect condition. I’ve been daily driving it for months with no issues. After an hour of the tech “finding the issue and realigning” I had to call and see if my car was ready. The guy on the phone told me it was still not starting and had many issues. He said it was “gushing coolant” onto the shop floor, had a misfire since check engine light comes in while driving, and had an oil leak. I told him the reason for the light was when accelerating it comes on due to the aftermarket X pipe. He then says “oh okay”. It was like he just said that to make me panic. I told him there was no way it was leaking coolant since I just replaced the entire system. I told him I was just going to come pick my car up. When I got there, I looked under the car to see ZERO spots. I walked inside the building and asked what the current situation was. The guy at the desk sent me outside with the tech. He told me that the Radiator was full and was not leaking. He said that he didn’t think there was a misfire either. He told me that he thinks the security system is preventing the car from starting. (Which has NEVER been an issue since installing) This is odd because I have left my car at numerous shops yet the first time I come here, something just happens to prevent my car from starting? Not only did I pay $500 to have my car aligned and pay to have it “diagnosed “ after THEY BROKE IT, they didn’t even have a reason to why this happened at their shop and better yet, HOW TO FIX IT! I was out $500 and my car returned to me in worse condition than when I brought it in.

Got work done here about a year ago on my Dodge Charger, I had a pop and crackle tune which I liked, I told them I needed a delay in the throttle response fixed causing a lag. They ended up telling me they were gonna work with Jay Greene (a tuner) to get rid of the problem. They ended up getting rid of the problem but they took away the pop and crackle tune I worked so hard to get and now I can’t get it back. I’m sure this was a miscommunication that I wanted to keep the pops and crackle tune but it’s too late now. I also had a conversation with Jay Greene and heard he offered a much cheaper price then I was invoiced for from torque. Overall If you have any custom problem with tuning ask the tuners, in my experience torque performance were more like middle men collecting a fee for jay green (the actual tuning service). I also had the tuning device Jay Green used on my vehicle.

Had my vehicle TOWED in for a start up tune and dyno custom tune on 11/5. They said it would take 2 or 3 days so here on 11/11 my vehicle is in the same spot the tow truck left it in. Maybe sometime soon? I hope? So they never did put my truck on the dyno, but I was told that it was included in the price. I feel that I should have received some kind of a refund.

Rusty and Gus were so helpful when I was having car issues. They were able to take my car and repair it very quickly. I will most definitely be using Torqque Performance again. Excellent customer service! Will be recommending to ALL my friends and family.

They should take their Dyno services off the website. Called to schedule Dyno runs and AFR readings on my classic 911. They have the service on their website with detailed pricing, but was told they don' t take schedule/walk ins for dyno now...only cars they are doing work on. Well...i was looking for a local go to shop for my classic cars too...guess i will look else where

Very helpful and friendly staff. Quality of work seems to be high. There was a very annoying noise in my driver seat that I didn't mention at all. It's now miraculously gone after having some work done. Might be a coincidence, but i like to think that the tech noticed it and fixed it anyways. EDIT: Sound is back, so maybe they didn't touch that. BUT the service I went in for is still going strong!

I'm sure this team of individuals does excellent work, but if you need a custom job done, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Update: I reached out to Torqqe Performance looking to get work done on my vehicle that did not require the removal of emissions equipment (coilovers, wheels and tires, etc) and was initially given an appointment date. Nearly a week later, I get an email from a second individual stating that the appointment was made in error and I would not be able to get assistance with my vehicle with no further explanation. I'm not sure if these guys are incapable of installing bolt on parts or denied my request because of my previous 3 star review, but both possibilities are ridiculous to say the least.
