I have taken my older Subaru up here a couple times and have really appreciated the service I have received. The owner seems very honest, knowledgeable, and patient (as I don’t know much about cars lol). I will continue to use his shop. :)

Tony is not only fairly priced and honest about what needs to be done with your vehicle he's a great guy. Get there as early as possible or make an appointment though, 90% off the time he's backed up or booked for the day by 9am!

Tony will likely be the only honest mechanic you will ever meet in your life. He has been working on my vehicle and my family's vehicles since the early 90s. He has had enough opportunities to change unnecessary parts and upcharge us and he has not. Case in point: Car died. I replaced the battery. Days later it died again. At that point Tony could have easily said it is the alternator and had had us do an unnecessary repair. Called me later saying the battery terminal was loose on the new battery and nothing is wrong. He tightened it up and did not charge me.

I can't recommend Tony enough! He cut what would have been a giant bill in third just by being the knowledgeable professional that he is. I'm beyond glad and thankful that I took my car to him for a second opinion and I do not plan on ever going anywhere else to get work done on my car.

Still the most honest and reliable mechanic in Tampa... that car 2 years ago with the overheating problem is still running with no problems overheating... He recently unlocked an electrically unlockable door from inside or outside, and fixed it with lubrication... This gentleman is "SMART" and the best...

Tony is a real class act. I just moved to the area and I don’t know anyone here so I feel super fortunate and grateful that Google led me to him. I’m absolutely confident that no other mechanic in this area would have helped me the way this man has. In the past I’ve never had a good experience with mechanics, as a woman I’m babytalked a lot and I get it, but it’s frustrating when I genuinely want to learn about the vehicle I’m driving and what’s going on with how to improve it. Tony is absolutely respectful and very clear when speaking about any project that I bring him. Because of his honesty and clarity I’m able to do my own research and follow along and finally be able to learn about being a responsible steward to my antique vehicle. He’s really gone above and beyond for me and my old heart-truck and I’m forever grateful.

Want an honest, ASE certified mechanic who has been in business at same location many years...and for reasonable cost? Look no further. Tony is a highly skilled and knowledgeable, no BS mechanic. WONT try to "find" unnecessary "repairs" like some unscrupulous car dealerships (Century cough cough) will. Been coming here for many years, well worth the drive wherever you are in the Bay area. Just hope he never retires!
