If you like living avoid this location. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I got my ball joints professionally. I know you're probably like what does this have to do with anything? Well, this is important later on in this review. Once I got the alignment my husband gets in the car and says you need to go back and get this fixed as the wheel and tires were not in line together. I'd just like to say i had no other issues prior to this appointment. No issues at all besides the wheel wasn't aligned that's it. So, I'm politely greeted by Don he was kind and very nice to me. I hand Don my keys and explain to him what I needed fixed which was just the steering wheel and the tires not being aligned with each other and are both still under warranty. About an hour and a half pass, Don calls me up, I get my keys and hit the road to go home. as I turn out i realize the alignment is yet off again but in another direction. so, I turn around and go back. I signal for Don he asks, "What the problem?' I say alignment still isn't fixed he looks at me and asked me am I sure? I hand him the keys and tell him you hop in a see for himself. He drives my car around back of the building and pulls back up to me and says, "have seat inside for me". I sit down again back inside to wait for the alignment to be redone. Again I had no other problems prior to me rolling in and rolling out, no issues at all just the alignment. About 45 mins pass and Don walks up to me and says I don't know who did your ball joints on your car because they are very loose and old. We jacked the car up which is causing the tires to lean one way which is making the alignment inaccurate. The the ball joints were just done 3 months ago so they are fairly fresh, I call my husband as he's a mechanic and would have known if my ball joints were bad. Here's where the real problem lies. prior to me coming into the shop for my alignment to be fixed my ball joints were just fine I had no issues at all just the alignments issue that needed to be corrected as it was done incorrectly. I take my car and get in it again, as I turn out of their parking lot my car suddenly has a mind of it's own and choosing what direction it wants to drive. I hit a hump the car jerks and I almost run into a curb. at this point I'm scared to death because this was not happening before I took it in to them. the speed limit is 45 I had to go 20 because the way this car behaved as I drove you would have thought I was drunk. With the changing texture of street and regular little humps and bumps this car is going all of the place. I literally almost crashed into someone because of my ball joint suddenly "being very loose and old" I get home I tell my husband I am not driving that death machine until its fixed. As I said before he has been a mechanic all his life, so when it comes to cars good or bad he can spot them a mile away. when I arrive back home i see my husband looking at my car. he gets up and says, "That tech tried to kill you because he didn't want to fix his error again for free". I'm looking at him like what are you talking about? he goes on and asked me had I had the problem before this. I say no He says "I don't have proof but he loosened those ball joints on you and could have killed you". Had I gotten on the highway and hit any kind of bump like I did on the street my car would have crashed and hurt or killed myself, my child and someone else. I feel like this was not his first time doing something like this and won't be his last. He could have killed me and wouldn't have had a second thought about it all because he didn't earn a commission on something they did wrong to begin with. The sheer fact that this tech is employed and doing things like that is a liability and careless. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE trust me. Never again

Genuinely frustrated. I purchased a set of 4 tires and was quoted one price before they did the work and then another price afterwards. They did not finish the job which was literally putting on 4 tires. I came Monday and they did not finish putting on tires and then I worked all night (12hrs) Tuesday and Wednesday just to sit from 8am-2pm and they still have yet to finish my tires and my “complementary alignment”. People’s time should be taken into consideration and I will never waste my time nor money here again. Took 2 trips and several pieces of equipment and multiple techs to remove a lug nut that an old mechanic of mine was able to remove without a drill, and heavy machinery. The stores quality definitely matches the stores name . Do better.

I found myself at tire discounters after a debacle at BJ’S wholesale club. Basically…I had an appointment to have my tires installed by BJ’s tire center, only to show up to my appointment and find out they have their tire center shut down indefinitely due to staffing issues. So I loaded up my tires and headed over to tire discounters. Don is the man and helped me out tremendously. I stopped in to make an appointment and he ended up getting me in right then. Big props to Don and the crew for getting my tires installed. They were busy and working hard. I greatly appreciate that I didn’t have unload then reload my tires for another day because they were insanely heavy.

Kenny is all around a great guy, I go to his shop for all my tire and wheel needs and he gets me in and out very fast and his prices are very competitive compared to any other place I’ve been too. For it being in New Albany he still beat the other tire places I normally went to. So I am every glad him and his team are there for me in a moments notice and they are super friendly and down to earth so if you need anything from a check engine light to a full tire needing replaced I would put my money on this location getting it done. Repeat customer at this location for several years. I recently noticed a slow leak in an existing tire. Kenny took good care of me from the moment I brought my car in. A screw was found in the tread, removed, and the tire was patched. Thanks again to Kenny and the rest of the team at Tire Discounters Gahanna/New Albany for your good service and care for my car.

Had the pleasure of working with Kenny. Great guy overall. Customer satisfaction is his priority. Very kind and straight to the point and very knowledgeable. Will return and will recommend Tire Discounters to others 😃 Update as of 9/11/24: Tire discounters does it again! Outstanding service! I came in letting them know that I only had 1 tire to be replaced and that I had less an hour lunch left. They said it could take 30 minutes to an 1 hour. I thought I wouldn’t make it back on time. To my luck. They pulled the car in 6 minutes after I signed paperwork and it was done within about 20-30 minutes. I was able to get back to work on time. Talk about speedy and outstanding customer service within 30-40 minutes. Tire was replaced and tire discounters off Hamilton road had a very happy customer 😊. I still recommended them to others 😃.

I'd like to recognize Kenny, Alex, Kaden and Graham for a job well done and providing excellent customer service! I've recently had this team install new tires on both my Audi S4 and Lexus GX. They are very knowledgeable, professional and ensured the customer experience was a positive one. I also witnessed Kenny and the team working with other customers and was impressed with their focus and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. I was going to only have my tires done here but after he informed me of all the other services they provided, I was able to cancel my appt at Honda and have everything handled in one appointment. I wanted to give a shout out to the General Manager, Bryan, for his dedication to customer service. My wife’s tire kept developing a slow leak and he went above and beyond to determine where the leak was originating from. Not only did he find the leak, but he tested other areas where leaks occur just to be sure nothing else was wrong. Will continues to purchase tires from this location!

Let me preface this by saying this place used to be good. I'm just a dad who's been around these parts, and I've come to this shop several times in the past, along with my son. What separated this place from others was the atmosphere and friendliness. The same doesn't hold up anymore. I went in for a flat repair earlier this week, but I was told I needed to purchase new tires and that my current ones weren't able to be fixed. It was by a person with a nametag of Bryan. As a bit of a car guy myself, I thought it was suspicious. I decided to go elsewhere, and it turns out the tires to my car could be repaired. The guy working in the other store told me I was likely being scammed from the other place. I've always enjoyed coming here, especially when Randy helped out, but recently, the atmosphere, trustworthiness, and workers seemed to have changed for the worst. It's sad to see what used to be a good place change.
