Staff were extremely helpful. I called TCASC after a quote from Les Schwab for $550 to replace both rear drum brakes, including shoes, hardware, and drums. The problem was that the Les Schwab technician told me and showed me that the hardware kits and drums had no damage and were in great working order. After researching online, I found that mechanics often said that drums and hardware didn’t need to be replaced if there wasn’t any damage; only the shoes (which, in my case, were worn unevenly and very thin at the bottoms). Les Schwab refused to replace only the shoes, so I declined the quote. TCASC confirmed my finding and said that if they inspected it and agreed that they were in spec and undamaged, they would replace only the shoes. I showed up at TCASC and Anthony was immediately much more helpful than the tech at Les Schwab. He clearly knew his field intimately well, and he had no problem educating me without judgment and without trying to sell me anything I didn’t need. He explained that other companies are often too lazy to clean and oil the brake drums and hardware when they could charge to sell new ones. He assured me that he’d take his time to make sure it doesn’t wear the pads unevenly again. My truck had a problem with shaking when braking at high speeds, which several Les Schwab locations told me wasn’t a safety concern, and that it’d be fixed when I eventually replaced my warped front rotors. The Les Schwab technician didn’t mention noticing warped front rotors, and when I asked him about the issue, he explained that wobbling while braking is a complicated issue and can be caused by a combination of factors, including rotors, tires, shocks and struts, etc. He took a close look at both my front rotors with a flashlight and said he didn’t see any heat spots, and he offered to replace my front brake pads and rotors as a trial and error attempt. I declined. I brought this problem up to Anthony at TCASC and he immediately said that yes, this problem is ONLY caused my warped front rotors, and when I asked him if it was a safety concern, he gave me the most important indicator that he is a true expert in his field: His answer was, “It depends.” He didn’t want to say anything until he inspected it, but he assured me he would and he’d let me know what he found. I also believed that my wheels were probably out of alignment, because of the feathering of the tires that I had replaced at Les Schwab before my visit (which I now regret. I probably would’ve saved to the tune of $400 by choosing TCASC). The real problem was that I kept the tires at too low of an air pressure and never had them rotated. Anthony said he’d check the alignment as a courtesy, and let me know if it was out of alignment. A couple hours later, I got the call, and with a trembling voice, Anthony explained that the rotors and front brake pads were bad. Really bad. Worse of a concern than the rear brake shoes. “But don’t worry,” he said, “I’ve put together a smokin’ deal for you.” He offered me the rear brake shoe replacement, front brake pads and rotors, and an alignment for $650. He offered to also replace the brake fluid which was moist and dirty for an additional $99. This immediately sounded better to me, and I trusted Anthony’s expertise much more because of our conversation, so I accepted the offer and told him to go ahead. Only eight hours later, my truck was ready. (It only took them so long because they ran into some resistance with cleaning off some rust.) I went to the store, eager to hear his report after working on my truck, and he showed me an alignment check report. “I’m a man of my word, Jack, your truck passed alignment.” He explained that some shops alter the look of the results, but true to his word over the phone, he discounted $120 from his quote because he didn’t have to align the wheels, and after tax, I paid a hair over $650 total. It blew my mind that I would’ve paid about the same at Les Schwab for the wrong services, and I still would’ve had a dangerous braking problem.

I started going here after moving from north Boise. Have not been disappointed after 3 years. My Honda CRV and my wife's Chevy Cruse are well taken care of. They have made simple repairs even without charge! Are you kidding? A real gem in Boise!

Arrived in Boise after driving cross country with a slow leak in tire. Unfamilarlar with Boise, went to Tire Choice after quick internet search. What a great choice. They got me in quickly, treated me as if I was long time customer, not taking, advantage of my being from out-of-state, and promptly fixed the tire. Their professionalism and excellent service was greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the store was well maintained, providing a nice waiting area while the tire was repaired. Many thanks.

Today was the first time I've ever been there. I went in to have a mass air flow sensor checked out. Anthony and Shawn were really helpful. Anthony was able to fix the problem in a matter of minutes. And Shawn gave me a ride to get my jumper cables cause my battery went dead. I would recommend them after my first experience.

I needed an oil change and a basic inspection in preparation for a road trip. I dropped in with no appointment and they were able to get me in. Oil change and some wiper blades. They were friendly and not pushy trying to sell me cabin filters etc. Very happy with the service they provided I will be back.

Went to have tire looked at to try to have it partially covered under warranty and purchase a second tire. They said it wasnt worth their time to deal with the warranty side and sent me away.

They diagnosed my vehicle problem, share the quotation and did the work. And after payment they told me problem is still not solved we need more diagnosis. They don’t have skill to identify problem. I feel I fooled by Tire Choice auto service center. I am not suggesting anybody to go over there and handle their vehicle in inexperienced people. Even I don’t give a single star to review but this is the least option. Google should introduce no star submission with review.

I’m surprised by the service of the flat tire by two kind & humble men. We were on a business trip all the way from our store Vapester Smoke Shop Blaine, Washington branch, and had some work in Boise, Idaho. After reaching Boise i got a Flat tire however these people gave the express service at Zero Cost. I’m really Delighted.

My fiancé brought my car by as my tire blew out last night and my brakes needed some work. They gave him a speech that they’re not pushy like they’re competitors down the street, will try to give us the best deal, and that we’re in good hands. They inspected our car and tire, called us back an hour and a half later and let us know it’d be about $716 for everything which is currently out of our budget (as I just had to book a flight last minute across the country as one of my close relatives is terminally ill) We explained that we unfortunately can’t afford that right now and that we’d just purchase a new tire and be back soon to change our brakes. After hanging up, a few minutes later Roger called us back and that he had spoken to his “manager” (we later found out he’s the manager when the car was picked up) and they had agreed to given us $75 off which was still out of the question unfortunately. My fiancé then picked up my car and was given a hard time by Roger about how they wasted their time pulling my car apart and they could’ve just fixed it then and there (but remember not pushy at all) even though we were planning on bringing the car back next Friday for the brake change. It’s pretty disheartening when they claim to be different but are exactly the same. We will be bringing our business elsewhere next week.

I have been using this shop for years to purchase tires and address related issues. However, this is the second time they have tried to overcharge me. Recently, I had a screw in my tire, and they gave me a lengthy explanation about why it couldn't be fixed, insisting I needed to buy four new tires. I got a second opinion, and another shop easily patched the tire in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust them to be my neighborhood tire shop.

Roger was the absolute best. I had a bad experience with a different company, and he was so thoughtful and understanding. When I explained the problems I was having with my AC he reassured me that they would take everything in and see what the problem was. So, I was on my way to Arizona when something slashed my tire on the highway and knocked it out.. I was able to arrive at their shop being all the others were closed.. Unfortunately going 80 on the highway and my tire popping messed up the rim, so they promptly ordered it in for tomorrow. They had a special of buy one get one free so now I also have a spare. I don't remember the gentlemens name as I'm good with faces and not names but he went above and beyond.. he helped me get my animals and myself to a hotel for the night, transportation wise. He was very understanding and patient, also understanding how stressful and unexpected the incident was. Good pricing, good deals, good staff.. please go here, they deserve the business for how they treat others...don't put up with people that treat you like a number.
