Amazing customer service and quality work. Took my Tesla model X in to get my rear cambers changed to the adjustable ones to save my tire wear. Did a great job and kept me informed if anything else needed service as well. All went well and my Tesla drives better than before. These guys here are professional and perform quality work as well. Have takeb my other cars to get service to them as well.

I have been a long time customer of Tilton’s (15+) years. Tilton’s always does a great job of taking care of my vehicles. Most recently I brought my vehicle in to address a serious oil consumption issue. I was presented with several options to address the issue as well as a recommendation. I appreciate the thoroughness of the diagnostics and the conservative approach to addressing the issue.

Dropped the car off several months ago to get the timing belt changed and it was pricey but we were new to the 01 Lexus LS430 so we really did not know what to expect for cost of the timing belt replacement. Our experience was good other than cost of the maintenance. We since then had no issues but just recently we had a check engine code for VVT Solenoids failing so they gave us a quote and for the solenoids it was 500 just for the parts I purchased for 274 for both of them at a known auto parts chain. The process involved a minor service of checking the reason for the code and a quote to change the oil and replace the solenoids. It was mentioned that the oil was low but did not specify a reason that it was low. So the whole thing was to be over $1000.00 and I could not see paying that for an oil change and replacing the solenoids and hour of labor at $180.00. So I had to pay 208 for diagnosis and we paid and picked up the car later that evening. So prior to replacing the solenoids I took the car for an oil change. The shop told me that the valve covers were leaking and took photos of the leaks under the vehicle. Why was this not discovered at Tiltons? A simple removal of two screw caps on the engine cover would have revealed that leak as well. So I paid $208 and they could not point that obvious issue out like Midas did? Very disappointed in this visit and the cost for an overlooked "inspection ".

Update: I’m editing my previous review after Chris Tilton reached out below and also called. I appreciate the assurance that this is not how Tiltons operates and the fact that they went ahead and refunded the charges for my second appointment. Mistakes happen and I’m glad to know that they’re willing to make things right when something goes wrong. Thanks! I’ve been taking my car to Tiltons for years and have recommended them to several friends and family members. Recently, I’ve had recurring issues with them regarding lack of communication and incomplete work that have led me to reconsider having future repairs done here. I dropped my car off for several maintenance items and was given an estimate for all but two of the jobs. I asked about the cost of the remaining two items and was told they’d call and let me know. They never did call, so I contacted them near the end of the day and learned that they’d already completed the work on my car and it had been ready to go for a while. Since it was nearly closing time, I picked it up after hours and found that they did not complete the last two repairs. This doesn’t seem to be a one-off mistake, as my boyfriend also takes his car to Tiltons and has experienced issues related to incomplete work. These were minor fixes that I could’ve done myself but didn’t want to deal with in winter without a garage if I could avoid it, so I decided to schedule a second appointment with Tiltons and see how much they would charge. I did attempt to get a quote through their website first before scheduling this appointment but did not receive a response. When I dropped my car off the second time, they did not provide a quote but said they’d call shortly with an update. I assumed this meant they’d provide an estimate before proceeding with the work since this is what they’ve done every other time I’ve been to Tiltons in the last 6 years. Instead, I got a text near the end of the day stating the work was complete with an accompanying invoice. The total bill was much higher than I would have expected based on knowledge of the cost of the parts and the time it should take to complete the job. In reviewing the invoice, there was a note that I had authorized the work even though they never contacted me with an estimate. If they had informed me of the cost like I expected them to, I would have opted to do the work myself. I arrived to pick up my car and discovered that they had again only completed one of my two requests and instead replaced a couple of different bolts. After informing the front desk, they were at least able to take the car back in and address the remaining concern before I left. They did apologize and offered a small discount for the lack of communication regarding the cost, but I don’t feel that this was a fair compromise given that I never would’ve proceeded with having the work done had I known what they planned on charging. On a positive note, everyone I’ve dealt with at Tiltons has been courteous and the work they’ve completed on my vehicle over the years seems to have been well done. I just wouldn’t suggest taking your car here without triple-checking that they’ll provide an estimate before beginning work.

I dropped my Camry off in May 2022. I didn't need work done, just someone to look over the engine and give me feedback on what happened. They said they might not get to it right away but would finish it by the end of the week. Long story short, it's now August 2024 (2 yrs & 3 mo later), and I still don't have my car. Last I saw it, it had been hit in their lot and sustained damage clearly visible from the road. Both my (now ex) husband and I have contacted them repeatedly, and they've really dropped the ball for both of us. I brought the car to Tiltons because they have a good reputation. I don't know what changed, but I'd give them negative stars if I could. In the meantime, I have had to find and buy another car so I could get to work! Disgusted and hoping they have a good remedy for this disastrous lack of service and professionalism. Jan 1 2025. Still no car. Do better, Tiltons.

Just.. Wow. I am in shock at the level of service I received today. I heard the ever dreaded ‘thunk’ noise come from my front left tire while driving on the highway to work this morning. Thankfully I made it to my works parking lot and saw that my PSI was dropping and a hissing sound was coming from my tire. I quickly threw “Tire Shop” into my Apple Maps praying something was close. Tiltons Automotive Service came up, it said 6 minutes away, so I called them and scheduled a Tow. Within 40 minutes a Tow truck was in the parking lot and a polite man who was obviously very experienced got my car (which is annoyingly low) on to the bed of the truck with 0.00% issue, truly it was fascinating to watch. Fast forward about 3 hours later, I receive a series of automated and responsive text messages (the future is upon us ladies and gentlemen). These texts informed me of what was going on, and when my vehicle’s tire was repaired. After a quick uber I arrived to a beautiful Blue building and walked inside. I was greeted not once, not twice, but three times within a few moments. After paying my bill (which was A THIRD of what I expected to pay) with Sean who was again, polite, knowledgeable, and all around pleasant to talk to. As I went to leave a man named Chris started to talk to me about what I did for work, and showed true interest in how my day was going. He walked me personally to my car and even gave me some information about the coolant that will help it run better, longer. Come to find out, this man working the front desk taking phone calls and walking people to their cars is the Owner.. Chris, I would like to thank you personally for this experience and I can promise you that ‘Tiltons Automotive Service’ will be saved in my phone and shared very often. Keep up the excellent work, it does not go unnoticed. -Lee
