Absolutely the best mechanic in town. First he fixed The problem that was causing the check engine light at no charge and then told me to bring the car in when I was ready. When I brought the car in he resolved several outstanding issues and gave me a great all-in price. Blake trains mechanics for dealerships. That means the master mechanic at the dealership may have simply passed the class that Blake teaches. Where else would you want to take your car?

Blake and crew worked on my 91 VW Vanagon and not only did they fix my van, they went the extra step to tighten all nuts and bolts to ensure a smooth ride and checked every component in my van to ensure it’s working properly. I highly recommend these guys, super knowledgeable and honest and communication is excellent.

I was referred to Blake of Metric Systems Garage six years ago by a co-worker and fellow Volvo owner, to service my car post-warranty. Since then, he has been my guru for all things Volvo. Blake is a fair, straight-talking, easy-going and very knowledgeable dude with awesome people skills. I trust him implicitly to repair only what needs repairing and at a price that does not break my budget. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, Blake takes pains to explain what needs to be done in terms I can understand. Absolutely the best mechanic-client relationship I have ever had!

I've been having my Jaguar XK8 serviced by Blake at The Metric System Garage for the last year and a half. The service and results have been outstanding. My jag is running and handling better than it ever has in the past 10 years. It was being serviced at the Jaguar dealerships and cost me a lot of money. The costs for repairs at The Metric System Garage are a lot more reasonable. Not only has Blake done outstanding work with all of the repair work; he advised me on what should be replaced prior to problems occurring. My jag is running as good as it was when it was brand new! Based on my experiences, I highly recommend The Metric System Garage.
