Disappointed Longtime Customer - Overpriced and Untrustworthy Practices I've been a loyal customer for years, but I feel scammed. We replaced our xenon headlights 28 months ago (after 9 years of use), and now one has already burned out. When I returned to inquire, I was told the warranty on parts and labor is only 24 months. They also said it was working but just dimmer or a different color now but it was out when we drove there and went out again after we picked it up; obviously there's an issue. Out of curiosity, I researched the brand of bulbs they used and discovered they marked them up by ~550%! They chose a cheap option and charged us $491 to replace two bulbs that cost about $50 total. At that price, we assumed we were paying for high-quality, long-lasting bulbs--not so. This experience also made us rethink a prior estimate (years ago) for brake work they said was urgent. We held off back then, and now I'm glad we did because I no longer trust their recommendations. Save yourself the frustration and money. Look elsewhere for honest, transparent service.

I brought in my 2004 Honda for a tune up and had noticed that my clutch was slipping. I'm always a bit nervous bringing in my manual to a new mechanic, but Ray and Kyle made me feel very comfortable right away. Their notifications system kept me up to date and made reviewing and approving repairs super easy and they were very responsive to any additional questions I had. The new clutch is running like a dream and I'll definitely head back for any future repairs and be sending friends there for reliable and trustworthy work.

Have been going to The Garage for several years, for both our Mazda 3 and Audi Q5 PHEV. They are fair, quick and very practical in their approach. I really appreciate how communicative they are, sending detailed notes and asking for approval via their online portal before proceeding with the work.

I highly recommend The Garage. I like that I can book an appointment online, I can text with them, they take photos of my car + mileage once it's dropped off - their communication is excellent. The customer service is outstanding, the repairs and maintenance work is great. I am so happy to have a trustworthy garage.

Very disappointed. Was told my engine had a leak. Took it for another diagnostic and was told there was no leak. Received an email stating my car was up for a major service and not just the normal oil change. Contacted Carmax who held my maintenance record and was told I needed an oil change only. Not sure it’s special services for women. Don’t trust

Really appreciated the work done on my VW CC at The Garage. Kyle and their team were incredibly communicative and helped me avoid an unnecessary charge the dealer wanted me to pay for on it. They were able to quickly get my repairs in place and provide an amazing amount of details within their emails about the work that was performed. Will definitely be going back for any future issues.

This is without a doubt the most competent and honest mechanics in San Francisco or ever in my experience I have a very old car with many things wrong with it Kyle recommended for me to not do any expensive repairs , which he could have profited from !!:and instead charged bare minimum . He also advised that I should look into replacing the car I highly highly recommend this shop I have been with them since 2015 and can't be happier !! They are the proof that honesty and good business practices are not dead ! They restore one's faith in humanity:) 10 out of 5 stars !

For the last decade, I've entrusted my 2013 Honda CRV to The Garage for servicing, and "trustworthy" immediately springs to mind. Ray and Kyle are both great at communicating issues with the car and recommendations. I also trust that their prices are very fair!

Once again the Garage gets a 5 star from me. My car was displaying all kinds of power failure notifications on the dash and ended up dying in a parking lot. After having it jumped and taken to The Garage they ran diagnostics on it it and it turned out to be just a battery problem. They also inspected it and gave me a clean bill of health which was reassuring as I’m taking it out on a Seattle roadtrip. Thanks Garage.

I picked the GARAGE because of its proximity to my home and I had an issue with my car having a burning smell coming from it and a possible leak. They found the leak and worked around my schedule to fix the problem!! Kyle helped me get my car back within a timely manner and I will definitely go back to them!!! Thank you guys!!!
