I purchased a M3 from out west and brought it to Terry Saylor to go through the car to make sure that everything in the car was correct. I told him my concerns they went through the entire car checked it all out gave it a pretty good clean of health And very happy with the experience that I had there.

Amazing. Great communication throughout, kept me informed on parts delivery and completion of work. The work done exceeded my expectations. Labor rates are not outrageous, especially when considering the going rate for European mechanic specialists. I only wish they’d work on old Saabs!

Another 5 STAR experience at Terry Sayther Automotive. Brought my Jaguar because of a major driveline issue. Nichole and team quickly diagnosed the problems. She worked up a quote and kept me updated as the parts were ordered, their lead time and when they arrived. She even pre-ordered a part that might be bad, just in case, so I wouldn’t have to wait on parts. Nichole, Duncan and team are first rate!

We’ve lived in south Austin for about 25 years and have taken every BMW we’ve ever owned to Terry Sayther Automotive. They know these cars like no one other shop I’ve ever been to. Every time we take our car in for a specific issue, a detailed bumper to bumper inspection is performed with pics and videos (at no additional cost or obligation) that provides a baseline of anything else that might need attention - immediately or down the road - which sets the standard of how it should be done. This alone makes it obvious how much they truly care about keeping their client's cars healthy. BMW’s are not the cheapest cars to fix when they break, so preventive maintenance is really the best way to avoid major repairs down the road and TSA always lets you know where things stand with your car. It’s similar to finally finding that family physician you know is a good fit. You keep coming back because you know you’ll be taken care of! Highly recommended 🙏🏼👍🏼🚘

Decided to try as there were so many great reviews. I was not disappointed- scheduled very quickly, receive written documentation with quotes including potential situations that could occur and the work was complete within 24 hours after ordering parts. Great service and quick turnaround. Super thorough inspection with images for any issues on the car that was urgent or non urgent. Cost was good compared to dealership or other good auto repair shops. Will be taking car back here for any further repairs!

I asked members of the Austin Mini Cooper Club for a service referral for my 2011 Countryman. I was happy to learn that I would not have to drive to the n north of Austin and visit a neighborhood shop. Terry Sayther Automotive staff in particular Nichole worked with me on a smell issue coming from the vent (car had been garaged for 2 years.) While speaking with her, her co-worker checked the oil. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change thinking it was needed. They were up front when they learned it wasn't due for another 2400 miles. I'm glad to trust my business to an outfit that is courteous, prompt, professional and doesn't price-gouge its customers. That is now my go-to place and sharing with other Mini Cooper owners. I had heard of Terry Saythers for quiet a number of years and decided to google them and found their reviews to be highest ratings. I can see why! TSA was the only business that would do the job on my BMW, the dealer wouldn’t even do it. Nicole was on top of my needs from the minute she answered the call. She gave me a quote and told me to drop off the vehicle and got the job done. Within hours they gave me a diagnostics of my car status along with pics of my potential problem areas and videos of the their functionality. During the time I call her with several questions and she answered them knowledgeably. Always busy, she always had time to listen to my concerns - “She it the best.” The work was done fast and done right. They even have me a quick tutorial on the functions of the product. I am having them work on my vehicle again within the next week, will continue to use them in the future and highly recommend them to anybody. My wife’s car was overheating and I called TSA and Rhett told me I could bring it on the very same day cause someone had cancelled. Within an hour he texted me a diagnostic report and the critical things that needed immediate attention. I dropped it off and he had it done by mid day the following day. They are the best! Efficient, proficient and professional quality work. Diagnosis is always on point and turn around delivery is quick. I’m always plugging their business cause I 100% trust their work.

Wow. Absolutely incredible experience working with Terry Sayther. I originally took my 2015 BMW M235i to the dealer for a check engine light where they said I needed a new turbo, which was going to cost a ton of money. I decided to take it to Terry Sayther for a second opinion and I am so glad that I did. Terry Sayther took the time to fully investigate my issue and exhaust every possibility before they would even consider recommending a turbo replacement. They were able to identify the actual problem, which ended up being something very simple and easy to fix. So, instead of paying many thousands of dollars to the dealer for something I didn't need, I had my problem solved for a fraction of the price. I am eternally grateful to the team at Terry Sayther and will forever be a fiercely loyal customer.
