Terrible customer service, website needed to accurately display when one location offers emissions test for a few hours, and then the other location offers testing for a few more hours. Update your website!

I took my car here to address an issue another shop was not able to identify or repair. Tech-Way was able to identify and resolve the issue within the timeframe they estimated. A different issue came up while the car was there which they also fixed. It couldn't be done by the end of the day on a Friday due to a parts issue but they were able to let me borrow a loaner to get to work and even drove me to the other location to pick it up. The repairs on my own car were completed Monday morning. It is now running much better and I appreciate that Jon, the manager, was able to charge a fair price given the scope of the work. Communication was also good throughout the process. We will definitely come back--thank you!

I took my Ford Transit to Tech Way after getting tired of the dealership. I had some difficult work that needed to be done and they did an excellent job with the work but the big thing was the timely communication on everything that needed to happen. You always hate to have to pay but Tech Way made it worhwhile and worth it in my opinion. Recommended.

Tech Way got our van in on short notice. They were honest about what needed to be done and very easy to get a hold of when I had questions. I would go there again.

Tech Way earned my admiration when they quickly fixed a slow tire leak after a competitor failed to do so. I rewarded their great service by having them replace struts and tires on our Toyota Highlander. Their prices were good, their work was excellent, and the customer service offered by the Service Manager, Jonathon, was outstanding. I definitely recommend them.

Came in for a potential head gasket leak and they diagnosed and fixed our problem plus our timing chain. They did amazing work and went above and beyond to help us! We will always bring our cars here for future work.

My '09 corolla had been giving us issues for several months now (CV boot was leaking and a nasty exhaust smell started happening last year). My husband brought it in to a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP in Kenosha and they informed us that they could not pinpoint the issue, so we paid $200 for a useless diagnostic. We decided to just live with the smell for a while but we have two kids so needed to get it fixed. A few months ago, my car also started making a noise and my battery light kept coming on and off even tho we had just replaced it last year. Given all the issues, it was definitely time to get it looked at since I commute to Chicago for school. We did NOT want to go to Toyota again or even a brand name chain like Meineke or Midas (bad experiences there too. Midas quoted us $1200+ to fix the CV boot). So I just decided to try my luck and google places. I found Tech Way Auto and saw they had great reviews so took a leap of faith and made an appt online the next day for 1pm. It was my first time ever taking my car to this location and I was confused how drop off works. But, John greeted me with kindness and let me know that they would take care of everything. He called me at the end of the day and told me the issues (catalytic converter, alternator and also mentioned the CV boot even though I didn't tell him about that). He was very transparent and honest about everything including costs. But what made Tech Way different is that John was personable! After giving me the quote, he made sure I was at ease by explaining what he would do if it was his car and it felt very genuine. Though it was costly (but definitely quoted fairly!), we ended up choosing to get everything fixed and John even was able to save us some $$, which is important no matter how little. Cannot express how great the service is here. We will be coming back and never going to another dealer or brand name mechanic again. Thank you so much John and all the mechanics at Tech Way!! Your service is appreciated!!!!

Went to there shop .n they had my truck for a day.bcuz I told them I had a problem with a idling problem with my truck.said there were doin a complete Diagnostics witch would cost 75$ .when got the report from the shop .they told me about my breaks noting about the problem I came for..then they said it was needing a tune up .n that would fix the problem. For sure .the cost wood of been over 600$ .I went somewhere else .got the tune up.n it didn't do nothing .the shop is a joker . I wood never go back.n would n Recommend nobody go there

I went here for emissions, took maybe 20 minutes. Scheduled an appointment for a later date to get a rundown, decent price. They figured out what the issues were in 30, they had to get some parts on the other side of town, but completed the car SAME DAY. Took them maybe 4 hours total. Was told goal is to clear lot (if it’s possible) the same day. Incredible service. Will be back.

I called few places today for the emission test but non of them does it on Friday specially after 12 pm Then I found this place !! And I’m so glad I did. I stopped by today, They are amazing and very efficient. The guy who helped me with the test is very nice , respectful and helpful,, huge thank you to him

I have utilized this shop several times now for a number of different issues and highly recommend them—they are really great. Staff were honest & transparent. They correctly determined problems on my vehicle EVEN WHEN THEY ULTIMATELY DIDN’T GET PAID TO REPAIR IT (I had a warranty through the dealership that covered some things). They are polite and don’t use “scare tactics” but will simply tell you what is more urgent to repair versus what is less urgent. Car repairs are never cheap, but their prices are fair in my experiences. Their staff seems young, but knowledgeable and have always treated me with kindness and respect. I will continue to be a returning customer and definitely encourage others to utilize them. Finding an honest, kind mechanic is not easy. I’m glad they’re here & hope they are repaid in karma and good blessings.

Went on vacation and broke my serpentine belt. They were able to get me in right when we got back and fixed right away!!
